Mad Anthony’s Bier Stube Reviews
They said you can't get the German mushroom soup to go but on their Facebook page for the Friday special says take out available
Great German food! Especially the sauerkraut and German potato salad. Very nice beer selection. And really cool ambiance. Our server was great, and it was her first night! All this during a soft open, so I'm looking forward to what they accomplish when fully operating.
My only suggestion is to add a few desserts to the menu.
Came to Ambridge to checkout Mad Anthony’s for the first time. The Jagerschnitzel was so good! Loved the fries and everything I got to try, the restaurant is beautiful and everyone was having a good time. Service was great and friendly and our server Brittany really took care of us for our lunch

Based on reviews, Mad Anthony’s Bier Stube is a restaurant located on the main street in Ambridge, offering a warm, wood-lined space that feels older and comfortable. The atmosphere is quaint with creaking floors and has a family feel, making it suitable for casual family dining. The menu has a good mixture of German favorites as well as traditional American fare. Specific meals mentioned include the German platter, with very good wurst and delicious spaetzle, the chicken schnitzel, Reuben, chili, and kartoffelpuffer. One reviewer noted having the absolute best Reuben sandwich in their life. The schnitzel is absolutely delicious, and the warm German potato salad and the apple sauce are favorites. The restaurant also features a great bourbon selection, huge beer list, bloody mary bar, and mimosa bar. The staff is quick and kind, and the service makes you feel right at home. It is described as one of the better German Bars in the Burgh, a place that feels timeless and completely worth staying longer than planned.
