Flavio’s is simply amazing and more so if you consider the rural context. Make no mistake this is Italian-American cuisine and that’s the point. Most such restaurants are long closed, morphed into Olive Garden-like quality, or merged with an Italian influence, which took hold in urban areas in the 90s. Outstanding authentic food - real Italian. They are always short staffed, which they tell you when you call to make a reservation. Thus, the service is a bit slow, but it is worth it. Most of the pasta is homemade as well. I only order veal when I go, of which, there are a lot of options. Can't go wrong with any of them. Great place and kind people.

Food is always so good. Steak is best I've had. Service from the wait staff is excellent but it's hard to get reservations same day and even a day in advance. We have been told the bar is reserved before but when we walked in the bar was a ghost town. Not sure could be staffing issues? Hit or miss on getting a reservation so 4 stars. The place isn't modern and prob hasnt been updated in some time so atmosphere got 4 stars.
