“My fiancé and i stopped at the cool water after our engagement party, I noticed my wallet was missing the next morning, a couple that are regulars at this bar reached out to me on facebook that they found my wallet, as well as Andrea (bartender), nothing was missing from my wallet, cash cards, ect. I even offered to give the couple money for reaching out to me, and they would not accept it.I am forever greatful that there are good people in this world, this bar has the most trustworthy employees and regulars. Thank you so much!!!”

“Love these types of diner's. Off the beaten path, small, homemade meals, very friendly and welcoming staff. Had the pork chop special, filling and very well presented.Parking: Small parking lot, have to be careful pulling out into on coming traffic. Be patient.”

“Stopped in on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago. The customers and staff were very friendly. Note - they do permit smoking. However, it wasn't smoky at the bar. I had 2 domestic beers and ordered a whole Italian hoagie to go. The beers were cold. The hoagie was excellent! Good bread, generous serving of Italian meats, cheese, and toppings.”

“Food was good. Chicken salad and coconut shrimp,potatoe skins on the side. I would suggest reducing the size of the French fries that came wth the coconut shrimp by like 30% and ppl would still be happy with and cook them a bit darker so they are more firm. The coconut shrimp and sauce was good. No complaints on the giant chicken salad except a boiled egg would be the icing on that cake. Skins were good and nice amount of sour cream. Service was good. Overall def going back.”

“Food is always so good. Steak is best I've had. Service from the wait staff is excellent but it's hard to get reservations same day and even a day in advance. We have been told the bar is reserved before but when we walked in the bar was a ghost town. Not sure could be staffing issues? Hit or miss on getting a reservation so 4 stars. The place isn't modern and prob hasnt been updated in some time so atmosphere got 4 stars.”

“Wow... Ok in my line of work I get to eat some good food. But this place is amazing. Ordered a pizza done just perfect I mean beautiful and taste amazing. But what blew my mind was the wing dings my guys are old fashioned cooked just right and served on a double brown paper bag. So primetime my hat is off to you. Keep killing it??”

“While not from a land far away, I'm not terribly familiar with the area, but was hungry as all hell. So when I passed by Weng's Garden, I was certain it was going to be great. I've got a tasty-sense... you know, sort of like Spider-Man's ability to sense things out of the ordinary, except for fantastic food joints. It's never failed me, and this was no exception.Upon entering, we were greeted by our lovely server, situated ourselves at a table of our choosing, and began the journey into the depths of the extensive menu options that lay before our eyes. I was tired from a long week at work, and with my energy levels depleted, I decided to ask our kind hostess for a recommendation. The garlic sauce dishes were her favorite, and without hesitation, a decision was made. Besides, you can never go wrong with garlic sauce.The chicken was delicately tender and cooked to perfection. And the garlic sauce? Phenomenal. Perfectly sweet, with mild spice — a fit for literally anyone. While it could have been spicier, as per my request, it didn't matter. The flavor was immaculate, the sauce was the perfect consistency. I only wish there were more of it because I prefer my food swimming in sauce. Afterall, everything else is just the vehicle for sauce delivery. Again, you can't go wrong with garlic... ever.But doesn't stop there. She also made a fantastic reccomendation for the Szechuan dishes. Again, the chicken, tender, cooked to a wonderful temperature, and the vegetables were an impeccable balance between tender and crisp. I would have preferred it to be far spicier, but that's just because I a glutton for the heat.And speaking of spice, the waitress is damn cute and knows just how to brighten up someone's day. So if you happen to stumble upon this review at some point...Whether you live next door and haven't given it the chance, on the other side of town, or just passing through the area — Weng's Garden is a must try. And remember kids, you can never go wrong with the garlic.”

“I’ve lived in the area my whole life & the pub has always been a staple. It’s always been affordable for families & the food was ok. Recently I’ve ate there & I really must say they have stepped up their food game & it’s impressive. I’m very picky when it comes to spending money on dining out. I’ve followed them & their struggles to persevere through roadblocks of the very old building & I have to say that is equally impressive. I can imagine running a business is hard enough without battling an old building. I feel as long as they continue to push through ironing out the repairs while keeping up the quality of their food as well as a welcoming vibe they will be very successful for many years & I hope I’m right. Very friendly people & nice atmosphere also. Keep pushing & best of luck!”

“I stopped in here on my way to Apollo, around noon on March 16, 2024. It was very clean, not too busy. Was served right away by a delightful young woman. Got a Tuna sub which was excellent! This is the nicest SubWay I have ever been in.Parking: They have about ten parking spots on 3 sides of the building.”

“Jamie, the GM, is one of the nicest and most professional service workers I’ve ever met. Every time I walk in, I get a warm greeting and she always asks how my day is. She’s easy to talk to, and she makes the best sandwiches for me. The rest of the workers are so polite and they’re always willing to talk. I would always recommend this Subway. Love them!!”

“Once a week I order a pizza. I call they know me when I give name, am a regular because of the awesome service, lots of smiles and pleasant greetings. Food is awesome. This is the only foxes pizza den I will ever order from.Parking: It's in Apollo Square with parking meters. So 9-5 you may want to slip a quarter in”

“We bought a shark cake for our daughter's 3rd birthday. Tasty Bakery went above our expectations. People came over to the table to take pictures because this cake was amazing. From the detail to the overall taste of the cake was incredible. Would recommend this company. They made a little girl's dream cake come to life! Thank you!!”

“I wound up going here with a friend and enjoyed it. We went on a Friday after work, so it became very busy, but the staff couldn't have been friendlier. I didn't eat, but they seem to have a decent sized food menu with the kind of food you'd expect at a brewery (pizza, sandwiches, etc.), and they also seem to have regular specials such as smoked chicken night. They appear to have activities pretty regularly such as music trivia night, so that helps add a little fun into your evening out. They have a pretty nice list of draft options and they also have a decent sized cooler with 6-packs to take with you. Their Facebook page does a solid job on advertising specials and events, so they do give a heads up on the happenings.”

“This place was amazing! I would describe the food as artisanal. The combinations of ingredients, and actual preparation was superb. Seriously delicious food. The decor was cool, and there were three rooms with seat yourself tables. (At least three -- we didn't actually go into the "canal room," but I don't think there were more rooms beyond it.) The staff, and other patrons, were friendly in a comfortable way -- not artificial or creepy. We chose this place based on the great Yelp reviews, and I'm glad we did”
