“Always freshly made, the staff are friendly and helpful. Love going here for the Italian ambience and music. The food is always hot and delicious.The desserts are delicious, the wine is plentiful. They give you homemade bread sticks every time. The dinner rolls are always hot, fresh and scrumptious. I like their house dressing. It's not just oil and vinegar. They've got a few specials, but my favorite dish is the Chicken ala Mafia. If you're craving pizza, the Villa Ballanca special can't be beat.”

“The whole family really loved this restaurant. Quality ingredients made for some fantastic food. The fried zucchini was awesome. We typically order it anywhere it's on the menu and this may have been the best we've ever had. Prices were completely appropriate for quality and portions. Looking forward to going back!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is available and our server had our youngest throw coins in their fountain! Very welcoming place for families.”

“Mogie was one of a kind. He just had this energy that you wanted to be around. He always made you feel welcome, like you were family. Even if you had never been to his restaurant before, he would just come up to your table and start talking to you like you were old friends. That’s who he was. Every time I’ve been back since he passed, I always think he’s gonna come around the corner and say hi. He has the greatest staff and a lot of great meals on the menu. My dad and I go there probably every two weeks.”

“The owner knew my father so I order their pizza all the time!! I will admit it's great pizza! Perfectly made. I love their wings, which is new for me. they had a smaller location years ago and didn't make wings then. So I guess what I'm saying is their success speaks for itself. He owns a bigger shop than originally and its successful because this man is dedicated and skilled at what he does. Their food is made by a man who has done this for so many years of his life that he perfected his art!!!! So if your looking for good pizza, hoagies, wings, Stromboli and much more, that taste better than others, it's better to get it from a place that busted their buns to be a local family favorite. The crew in the kitchen and behind the counter are also amazing ? they are the oil that makes the wheels turn smoothly in this place and most of their efforts shine through!! I absolutely adore this shop!!!”

“Nothing bad to say here! Staff are very friendly. Cookies are large and yummy. I've ordered numerous Birthday cakes and tortes from here and they have been exceptional every time. Their buttercream frosting is my favorite! Fresh baked bread is delicious too.”

“Never let down by this place. Seriously, a hidden gem. If you haven't been here, or if it's been awhile that you have been, I highly suggest you give it a try. Meatloaf is something I normally don't try out, however I chanced it one day and it is AMAZING. I haven't had something here that I haven't enjoyed. The fried cauliflower is something I have to get every single time. Recently tried a daily special of chicken romano with spaghetti (sorry, half eaten picture, forgot to get one before hand!) it was also so good. The service is always phenomenal as well, highly attentive. I cannot say enough good things about it.”

“Best wings place in the area, bar none. The original wings are awesome, but I also like Jamaican jerk. Big meaty juicy wings with the best seasoning. Everyone knows Burrell Inn is the best.It's connected to a bar so you get some cigarette smell, but still worth it.This last time we ate outside in the little courtyard. It's cozy out there and fun. Plus you avoid the bar smoke.If you're looking for the best chicken wings, look no farther.You won't leave hungry.”

“I never had Papa Johns pizza before. We tried the Shaqaroni and it was amazing! The crust was just right, the sauce and cheese were VERY good, and the pepperoni was excellent. We have a new favorite pizza place!”

“Last weekend I stopped in around 5pm. I was babysitting my friend’s children who are picky eaters and only wanted chocolate iced donuts with sprinkles. Since it was late in the day they were sold out. The woman working the drive through went out of her way to put Chocolate frosting and sprinkles on the plain donuts that they did have available. It was above and beyond service for sure! I would like to shout her out and say thank you!!!”

“It was late. We were starving, having only had beer that evening. The Big Macs were tres bien. The fries were crisp, yet tender. Heinz ketchup added beautifully to the experience. There was a problem that night with the wine, they were unable to offer any.”

“We Finally made it after seeing all the post online. Would first like to say the staffing was amazing in answering any questions prior to ordering also letting us sample the brisket before adding It to the burger ( it was excellent ). The dry rub ribs and homemade BBQ Sauce is BY FAR the best I’ve had anywhere in PA or in my life actually. It wasn’t until we were leaving we found out the staff( Kenya , Marquis and Nigeria ) were not part of the ownership . That’s how much pride and they took into the establishment ( hard to find now a days )…So the owner did great choosing his staffing !. Between the service and food we will gladly be spending our hard earned money here over and over again ..Place is a hidden gem in a small town that people need to make the trip for .. “Love love love Frankstown Wood fired Pizza! I crave it everyday. My boyfriend and I like the margarita pizza. So much so that we get it about once a week. Workers and owners are very kind and make delicious food. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients of both the toppings and dough in every bite. We always order the gnocchi with blush sauce and always appreciate how perfectly done the gnocchi is (never mushy or overdone) as well as the T-bone steak which is always made PERFECTLY!
