“Tbh...I dont get the hype. I think it was okay pizza, but people rave about this place. Is it a higher end gas station pizza, sure. Is it comparable to a pizza focused place? Not really. It was bland. Not much flavor. The people there were great, and it definitely is a good spot to jump off the highway for...but t many places I'd rather have living locally”

“Love having a locally owned and operated coffee house. The staff are amazing! Mary makes the most delicious food, her potato soup and feta couscous are my favorite. I visit at least once a week.”

“We stopped in on a park and wanted to get some quick eats. We had a cheese steak with fries, fried mushrooms to share, and and order of wings. Everything came out in a timely fashion and was hot. The cheese steak was a little dry but everything else was amazing. I can't recommend the winds enjoy. They crispy without being dry and brittle. If you are in the area and want some quick for for a good price stop in.”

Right from the start, the waitstaff set the tone—friendly, prompt, and genuinely thoughtful throughout our entire meal. You aren't coming here expecting candelabras and fancy linen tablecloths, but what you do get is honest, welcoming hospitality and lunch fare that is well above par. Everything was fresh, delicious, and served with care.
To top off a great afternoon, we had the chance to chat with the owners, Mark and Kim. They were wonderful to talk with—down-to-earth, gracious, and clearly invested in their guests having a great experience.

“Food- excellent! Celine’s bread toasted, fresh ingredients, thick cut cheese… so good. I ordered the #3 “the deli” and it was awesome. Roast beef, ham and turkey with everything on it. Also ordered the spicy Italian, so good!

Service- when I walked in they were eager to help. They immediately asked if I wanted my bread toasted and what sizes while I was still thinking about which sandwiches I would try. Flawless execution on the service.

“This is one of the cleanest and friendliest subways in this area. The TEENAGERS who work here, are absolutely wonderful to the people who respect them. As it should be. If you want better service from them, be better customers! I can personally attest to the level of compassion to simply want to make sure you get what you ask for, comes from this establishment! WITHOUT attitude as some others have complained. Through covid, these girls have taken just about every initiative they can to assure healthy and safe service. This is their job. They are not required to respect you. You came there. You opened your rude mouth, and you didn't speak to the person who upset you, about upsetting you. When you review, insert the part where you do the douche bag thing and let us decide the value of service. No shirt. No shoes. No respect. No service. Have a great day! “Drive thru service was good. Worker was friendly & smiled. Food order was correct. Only complaint a receipt could not be given due to this location had the receipt paper on order & it was already on wait for 2 weeks, per the attendant at the drive thru window.”

“Great restaurant however I felt a sense of hostility from the staff due to me being a door dasher. I understand that the restaurant business can be stressful, but door dashers are people too. We are in this fight together and the turmoil between door dashers and restaurant employees only divides us. They want us divided because when we band together the possibilities are endless.”

“Visited the Natrona Heights location around 1130pm tonight after working a very looong and hard stretch of nightshifts the last few days. I was exhausted, and still had to feed my kids, and only had change to pay with to get by til payday. (I know this is not ideal,and can be annoying,as I'm also in the service industry,I know it can be frustrating) But The gentleman manager on shift this evening was just so kind and polite even though it was late, he was still very pleasant which was refreshing. The food was incredibly fresh and well made! It was the best couple tacos we've ever received from any taco bell location. I wish I knew his name to thank him with recognition, but I hope he knows I appreciated him and his staff this evening. They were a breath of fresh air!

“I was working in the area and decided to stop into Black Canary for a coffee. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The shop was extremely clean, professional, and had the feel of a proper, well-run coffee shop. Even the restroom was clean as a whistle.

The gentleman behind the counter was extremely professional, welcoming, and polite. I ordered two vanilla lattes, and they were absolutely delicious.

Great atmosphere, excellent service, and even better coffee. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area. Thanks for a great experience!”
