We were not disappointed. $19 for a piece of fish that was bigger than the plate, and it was not just breading with a tiny sliver of fish inside, plus a salad, plus bread & butter, plus your choice of potato. I couldn't eat it all! It was all served hot and freshly cooked with homemade ranch dressing and homemade tartar sauce.“

“To finish up a very quick trip to Pittsburgh, I was looking for a diner to eat. The minute you walk in, people are smiling and happy. The locals are there talking with each other and it’s relaxing and refreshing. I had the roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy and yellow waxed beans. As I told my phenomenal waitress, Bri, It was exactly as my mother would have made it. I have missed her cooking since she passed away and this meal took me back to a beautiful time and place. Told us bar was closed also. Other times I've been there I was told to continue to order beer even after kitchen closed. Very uncomfortable. Only 9:00.“
