“To finish up a very quick trip to Pittsburgh, I was looking for a diner to eat. The minute you walk in, people are smiling and happy. The locals are there talking with each other and it’s relaxing and refreshing. I had the roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy and yellow waxed beans. As I told my phenomenal waitress, Bri, It was exactly as my mother would have made it. I have missed her cooking since she passed away and this meal took me back to a beautiful time and place. I will definitely come back here when I’m in the Pittsburgh area. The portion was right, the food was fresh and delicious, and Bri was very attentive.“

“Inndigo Blue is a nice restaurant. The menu is somewhat limited, but the food was excellent. I had a cup of French onion soup and a chef's salad, both of which were quite good. My server (Kimberly) was helpful and very pleasant. She was appropriately attentive to my needs without being in any way intrusive. I live about 4 hours away and was here on business staying at the Comfort Inn (attached). I don't know when/if business will take me to this same address again, but for a simple, tasty dinner, Inndigo Blue is a winner. Thanks!!“

“My girlfriend and I, and a few friends (party of 6) visited Killian’s for the first time after spending the afternoon at the Pittsburgh Brewing Company’s new facility, just a couple minutes away. I can’t say enough about the delicious, homemade meals we enjoyed there, including the many vegetarian choices. They have wide menu for all tastes, and when the plates come, you see a hefty helping of really old-style restaurant food. Be patient though, at Killian’s, it may take a little longer than other places to get your plates, but you are in for a wonderful dining experience in this very local establishment. (Our server was excellent too!!) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!“

The boneless chicken chunks were very fresh with mouth watering sauces of honey barbecue and Tai Sweet Chili. My husband said the Cajun Chicken Mac was the best he has ever had. Everyone enjoyed their food and the people from Virginia never even seen a whole chicken wing. It was a great weather day and a few of us even walked the block to get there..“

The cheese steak was a little dry but everything else was amazing. I can't recommend the winds enjoy. They crispy without being dry and brittle. “I came to Pittsburgh to visit friends. And made friends when we left. But this place right here...!!! Gave me good vibes. It's a small bar but man when I tell you the wings are FIRE!!! I mean FIIIIRRRREEE! We ordered 12 and ate 1 when was there only because the music was so good we forgot to eat. LOL So when we got back to the room I decided to try them again. We ate the wings cold! I have NEVER in my life had wings that damn good. So mad that I didn't get 24 because my husband tore them wings all the way up!
