“Jigger's is just not a hometown pub. It is known in all of the surrounding communities for being a great restaurant and a good time meeting place. The food is great, and the wings are award winning. I'm looking forward to the next time I get to go to Jigger's.“
“I've played this course a few times each year for the past decade and for the price I always find the course to be well-maintained with a friendly staff. In particular, they've done a good job remodeling and maintaining the clubhouse with a nice little bar and larger banquet room.“
“I used to go to Penn Monroe in the 90s in Monroeville and someone recently told me that Penn Murry was started by a few of the ex employees. The food was excellent and reasonably priced and everyone was very friendly. I will be going back again soon!“
“Can I give this place 500000 Stars!?! One of my ultimate favorites in my travels! Mariah is so amazing! She knows what I need from food to drinks without even telling her! That alone should be a great experience, but watching her interact with her customers lifts your day to so many other levels! By far my fave staff member! But.... also.... The management team, hostesses and hosts, servers, kitchen staff, and all of the crew really make you feel like you walked into a place that you frequent in your home town! Definitely a must visit here!“
“My wife and I consider ourselves foodies.. We often find ourselves disappointed when visiting restaurants in Pittsburgh. However, this was not the case when visiting Jillians. We were more than impressed. Jillian's can compete with some of the best restaurants in Shadyside and downtown Pittsburgh. The menu was exceptional. The dishes were creative, and the quality of ingredients was impressive. Our server (Jillian) was authentic, pleasant, charming, and informative. It is refreshing to have a dining experience like this. This place is a diamond in the rough. We will be recommending this to our family and friends.Parking: We had no problem parking on a Thursday.“
“Churchills is amazing! The food is great and the staff is exceptional! I needed a last minute place for an event and Drew and his team really pulled through for me and allowed us to have an amazing, stress free party. Their customer service is off the charts!“
“Phenomenal restaurant with staff to match the vibe. Everyone here is super friendly, and even the staff that are new seem to hit the mark without jeopardizing customer satisfaction. I would like to mention that I had a large party of 13 people. We did not demand to be seated together (because that would be ridiculous) but did have a specific time we would like to be seated. I had arrived an hour early to check in, and the staff were more than reasonable to accommodate us. The service we received was fast and friendly despite the obviously heavy load on the servers at the time. My table had a newer server, but he was still very skilled and accommodating. I will be returning often. I love this First Watch!“
“My wife and I have dined there a few times now and couldn't be happier with the food, service, and overall experience. We recently had a server named Grant and I have to say he was exceptionally good. He is what a great server is made of. I HIGHLY recommend Rodney's Restaurant to anyone looking for everything you want in a family style restaurant.“
“Highly reccomend fantastic fish... didn't try the homemade hot sauce as I'm a tarter guy but maybe next time... got the fish sandwich and let's say I'm stuffed more than a crab cake.... Enough for two people or someone that's super hungry recommend the extra roll... only negative i can give is I'm not a fan of the Ken's tarter sauce it's a tad too thick like a paste... but then again it's hard to find a good pre made tarter sauce.... Wish they did a homemade tarter but i digress this is a very good fish place and the employees are nice and kind which is always a plus... will be back“
“We have been wanting to come here for a while and we finally made it tonight . We were not disappointed when we sat at the bar and Ron the Bartender took care of us . Ron was fabulous from start to finish . He made us feel very welcome for first time customers . The food was Amazing and prepared to perfection . We will definitely be back .If I could give 10 stars I sure would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“It was only our second time visiting this bar/restaurant. It was a Friday afternoon, but we were able to find room for 3 at the bar. This is a good hangout with a good selection of beer and bar food. The hot dogs are the best in the area. I prefer chili cheese dogs with jalapeños.I wish they had more to choose from for dessert.Parking: Plenty of parking“
“The food was excellent. I got myself a steak, medium rare with fries and broccoli. The atmosphere was like any restaurant with a little step up. The service was nothing special.Parking: The parking was one way into and one way out. Of note, leaving the lot, it's difficult to see around vehicles.Wheelchair accessibility: It is there“
“We love going here! Great food, great people, awesome little place!Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is in the rear that leads to a rear entrance with a staircase. Front onstreet parking (VERY LIMITED) leads to the front door easily accessible for wheelchairs or walkers.“
“Just went to The Sequel tonight and it was EXCELLENT!!! Food was amazing but even more impressive was the Chef coming out to talk with us since both our girls have Peanut/TreeNut allergies. Explained everything to them and made them both feel at ease with what they ordered! Amazing experience and highly recommend!! We will be back!“
“Burgers were outstanding! Juicy and cooked exactly as requested. I had the Yinzer with an egg on top. Friendly, helpful server was eager to customize the burger however you want. Fries were great too. Large selection of tap and bottled beers.Parking: Good number of free off street parking spots.“
“A group of us were going to a concert at The Palace in Greensburg and this restaurant was recommended as a place to get dinner beforehand. We all were very impressed. They have an extensive menu, with pasta, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, wings, all kinds of appetizers, soups, wonderful things! Drinks included wine, beer and soft drinks. The portions were plentiful, everyone enjoyed what they ordered and the service was exceptional. I’ll definitely stop by there again when I’m in town for a show.“
“Been here twice so far, both times in their new location. The first time we got two different pizzas for take out and took them down to the park a few minutes away and ate them for lunch. I can't remember exactly which ones they were, but they were pretty good. I think one was a margarita style and that one was good. The other one I think had pepperoni or salami on it and it was not my favorite, the meat was very strong, it tasted a little aged or maybe even old. I will avoid anything with that on it from now on. The second time I ate here was eat-in. I wasn't feeling adventurous so I just got the 50/50 burger, the meat was 50% beef and 50% pork and wow was that a satisfying burger. The toppings were super basic, not even any tomato, I think it was just cheese and lettuce, but the flavor of the patty made up for the lack of toppings. It was very flavorful and had a great texture. I will definitely get that again. We also got the buffalo cauliflower for an appetizer and they were really good. I'm not one of those people who thinks that buffalo cauliflower is somehow comparable with actual Buffalo wings, but good Buffalo cauliflower is its own thing and it's delicious, so I would get that again as well. I also appreciated that the bathroom was spotless, I think there's a lot to be said about the attention to detail that a restaurant staff has if their bathrooms are clean and attended to. It's a small dining room so I'm sure on a busy night there will be a wait, even though it's a little out of the way of the main road, but it's worth the drive and the wait. I will definitely be back.“
“Ketters seemed to be a pretty popular place to eat and was very busy when we stopped in. Despite the restaurant being full, the staff was very friendly and provided exercise service. The food was good, and it was presented well. You get the feeling when you hear that you're going to get some well put together food that gonna have you leaving feeling full, and we left feeling stuffed.Wheelchair accessibility: A little bit old school on the accessibility, but they can accommodate here.“
“Just left Applebee's on Magill (sp?) road. What fantastic service ?. Our server's name is Farrah (again, spelling may not be accurate), and she was incredible. I worked in the service industry for 20+ years while managing and training employees, and I have never seen someone bust their @!$ like I did back then. I never write employee-directed reviews, but Farrah deserves a raise if she hasn't gotten one already!“
“I had been wanting to try Iceburghs for a while. Friends were all raving about their salads. Took my mother out to lunch there, and they didn’t disappoint! Soooo good…and the side breadsticks were the icing on the cake/salad. Lol The staff was so accommodating and friendly too.“
“I’m always pleased with my meal at John Anthony’s. On this visit I had the John D Sandwich - fried eggplant and chicken on a hoagie roll topped with marinara, cheese, and John Anthony peppers, and it was terrific. The only problem was it was so big that I couldn’t finish it, so I brought the rest home. My wife had eggplant parmigiana and she was very pleased with it. But the hit of the table was my friend’s Buffalo Chicken Calzone. That will be on my short list of choices on my next visit.Dietary restrictions: One friend at the table has to be gluten free, and she was very pleased with the number of gluten free options and her dinner.“
“Excellent!! The ??? Chef is creative and very innovative. They happened to have run out of pita chips for the spinach and artichoke dip the other night. Most places would have just said they were out and and had you choose something else. This guy went the extra mile and made some from from scratch and they did not disappoint! Full of flavor and went well with the delicious dip. Our first time there and this is all the more reason we will return. Well done. Great place Kelly, cheers ?“
“Raphael and pour you your favorite beverage to perfection. And if Raphael is away Mia is on the spot! Chilean sea bass was delicious and I have to say food is always hot and brought out before you know it. Salads are crisp. Soups are hot. Oh dessert shared of a rich chocolate something was divine. This was a busy Saturday night but they are consistently excellent Great date night with friends. Also love their apps and fun times with Glenda in the casual bar area. As the saying goes you get whet you pay for and will always leave you wanting to come back soon!Vegetarian options: Ask your serverParking: In a plaza. Easy access.“
“This was a very last-minute option, but I have no regrets whatsoever. Searching for some late night eats, this establishment was open. Plenty of parking, a good amount of seating, and friendly staff here to serve you. I was skeptical on the food, but our server mentioned a special on a pizza, which we jumped at. There was even a special on a sandwich which was very good and not overwhelming. I just had to get their chips and homemade French onion dip. I’m not much of a potato chip person, but here, they had me. Consistency was great, not crazy salty, and perfect dip. Seriously, I could eat those bad boys all day. It’s one of the places where you aren’t expecting much but they hit you in the sweet spot. I didn’t realize how hungry I was, and I kept eating. American style bar/ restaurant, homely and filling. I’m sure if you are from around these parts, you have probably heard of or been here before. If you haven’t yet, just go. Give it a shot. Or two.“
“Made a same day reservation for dinner before a show at the Palace Theatre. Arrived at 5.30 and seated in small quaint front dining room that was quickly filling with other theatre goers. The poor waitress was running ragged as apparently 2 members of staff had called off. The lady bar tender also helped out where she could. Ordered pork sliders and the crab cakes both were excellent, especially the crab cakes though it came with a seafood risotto that was rather basic (just one large shrimp) but still tasty all the same. Love the charm, character and ambience of the place. Briefly explored the other rooms to see that there were were other dining areas, including an outdoor patio area that I would certainly consider dining alfresco on warm pleasant evenings. The eclectic artwork adorning the walls (including in the bathroom) is for sale. Kudos to our waitress (and the bar tender) for her service being so busy with other patrons. Sorry didn't know her name as we didn't ask for a copy of the check when paying by tablet as we didn't want to trouble the the staff for a printed copy of the bill. My one only slight gripe was some of the bench seating was hard and rather uncomfortable. (A little padding would go a long way!) Any way Major Stokes is now going to be my go to place when going to an occasional show or concert in Greensburg due to its close proximity to the Palace Theatre.“
“Well The Hood made his way to Monroeville Pa! Stopping at the coal pizza to try it. Well… the food was good had some white pizza and wings with dry rub ( recommended by our server, wings that is). Not a fan of the dry rubs but this wasn’t bad… Th e pizza was burnt on the edges but it’s their style but it was still good. Had spinach artichoke dip and it was great! Got a chopped salad also and it was delicious! Recommend both! So overall food was good. Service- excellent! He kept an eye on us and checked often if needed anything! Atmosphere- nice lots of pics of past people you’ll see when you go. And The Hood recommends you go! So with that The Hood says be kind and keep eating and trying new things you never know when you’ll find your next favorite food! And you know you should follow The Hood see ya soon!“
“I did a takeout order and the lady on the phone was very helpful with how to order and explaining the menu. When I got there I met the owner, she told me that everything is made homemade and after eating the food I can tell it was. That was the best Mac n cheese I’ve ever had and the potato pancakes were out of this world. I highly recommend for anyone looking for something quick or catering. 10/10 would go again and 10/10 highly recommend!!“
“An amazing little gem on the border of North Huntingdon and Rillton. Bright atmosphere, friendly, excellent staff and delicious food. We had take out pizza from their previous Hahntown shop, finally dined in at the new location today and we had the Autumn Salad, Meatball Hoagie and Buffalo Cauliflower. On a whim my husband ordered the brownie with ice cream, the best ever!! He can't wait to try their other homemade desert offerings on future visits.“
“Amazing food - my favorite place for a good burger and the caramel pretzel milkshake is divine! Chef’s Kiss mwah! 1000% would recommend.Parking: Handicap spaces are usually available but other spaces you may have to hunt for a bit. Located in a busy shopping plaza. Also need to pay attention to the direction signs AND cars, have nearly clipped a few confused drivers coming in the wrong direction.“
“Eat and drink at this Local Restaurant tonight!! Please, go somewhere you've never been.My wife and I are Hospitality Professionals from Toronto, Ontario. When travelling, we prefer to stay off the beaten path. The Headkeeper has now been added to our list of great finds. They provide a great patio bar and seating. After a friendly greeting amd options, we chose to sit inside. Our server, Sarah, was totally on point. Based on our tastes, she assisted in our selections of some 600 beers. Not a beer lover...Try a Jameson Orange cocktail, Dark n Stormy, or other ?The food was top notch. Flash Fried Calamari, Sautéed Forest Mushrooms, French Onion Crostini, and Cauliflower. Portions can work for a table of 4. Can't go wrong with this offering and five drinks for under $100!!Take the time to get to know Sarah, she may even offer her recommendations on some other cool local spots. We are now looking forward to exploring these potential gems over the next few days!!Thanks for your warm welcome and in starting us off on the right foot (or in the right cups)??“
“I've only been her twice for lent fish sandwiches so I can't rate anything else. Talk good meal. Crisp fries and a nice piece of fish. Not overly greasy. The staff was really nice. The dining room is unassuming but bright and clean. I'm interested to try other food here.“
“Since 1959 you need to stop in here for a old fashioned sub and not from a chain store , daily specials half sub ,frys and drink 11.99$ They have a huge menu and its all good , A very nice place to eat in , its super clean and neat stuff to look at you won't regret “
“Stopped by while visiting Greensburg and had an Italian hoagie, hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve tried. I went 30 mins after open, they only run a limited menu at that time until the cook comes in. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!“
“Overpriced. But excellent! The coffee is delicious and they'll give you a to-go cup. Service has always been perfect, including lunch rush on Sunday. Just wish they could keep their prices lower, it keeps them out of competition with Denny's and other breakfasty places.“
“Visited this establishment while in the area for a concert at the Palace Theatre and it was definitely worth stopping in for their food. Their menu is well rounded for a bar/restaurant. I had the Reuben and it was one of the best I've eaten. They also have a fairly extensive drink menu with seasonal beers and cocktails. The service and ambience were well suited for the type of establishment. It was a very busy night and food arrived very timely and the wait staff were very on point. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.“
“A nice, quiet place to enjoy a cigar and a couple of drinks during the week. Can get a little busy for my tastes on the weekend, but that's just good business. The staff keep up, and the wings are good and huge. Can hardly complainParking: Parking on both sides, can be tough to find a spot when they're busy“
“I had steak and chicken and they were good, veggies were really good but the seasoned red skin potatoes were terrible, should have ordered the rice instead. I liked the Fresh brewed iced tea. We loved all the trees decorated for Valentine's Day ❤️Tracy was a very nice server!“
“Stopped in as it was recommended by some locals. I ended up getting my food to go, but they had plenty of seating and TVs. The staff I engaged was friendly and helpful. I ordered wings and they hit the spot! I will definitely be back and will order the wings again, although next time I will get some pizza to go with it.“
“I wish I still lived near Woodpecker's. They have some of the MOST OUTSTANDING wings of anywhere I have ever been and they are CONSISTENT about it.The outside seating area is baller. The waitresses are all super nice. All of the food, even the salads, are absolutely killer.I rate these wings top tier, entree grade. Go get em!PS: You MUST try the sweet potato fries.Parking: Good parking lot“
“We had dinner there last night with our family. Our family style dinner included chicken and peppers, chicken parmesan, manicotti, soup, and salad. Everything was excellent and generous portions. The waitress was very attentive. We are looking forward to our next visit to LaVitas, a small, welcoming, family style restaurant where it takes you back to dinner at Grandma's. It's a hidden gem in the heart of Greensburg.“
“This visit was a little less of a great experience like the many other times I have been here. The food was a little slow, getting to our table and arrived luke warm. Waited 20 minutes for a refill of my diet coke as I watched our waitress/ bar tender have a full-on conversation with patrons at the bar. The check came delayed as well, but I am chalking it up to having the bar tender as our waitress ?“
“The smoothie bowls are delicious. I've been ordering from here for a while and have yet to have a bad experience. They're always my go-to when I'm not sure what to eat.Parking: Parking is right out front.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheel chair accessible side walk to the door.Dietary restrictions: Tons of dairy substitutes.“
“Max & Erma's is one place you will never be dissatisfied with in their food. I have had their French onion soup before and it is amazing, so I thought I'd try their clam chowder. What a delight to get a spoon full of classic in every bite and not a mouth full of potatoes. I would have liked a bit more clam flavor and salt“
“The service that we received from the waitress was tremendous. The food was delicious, but when you get the tails off of shrimp that is covered with Alfredo sauce and linguini, not great at all. Corporate needs to reevaluate their decision on this.“
“I’ve been a patron of Marino’s for a few years now and don’t ever have any bad to say. Bartends are great. Servers are quick, even on busy nights. And let’s just say their food is amazing.Josh knows his beer ? and always refreshes the taps. If u are looking for that “Cheers” feel, then go to Marino’s!!“
“This bar is hilarious, when you walk in you are immediately welcomed to a cloud of cigarette smoke. The tight quarters and endless halls makes this place a nightmare for any drunken patron. The maze and fog gives this place a lot of character. Pair it with a stiff drink and loads of newly divorced women, and what you have is a night worth remembering.“
“A little biased here, but my father built LaBarbe’s back in the late 1920’s. It’s gone through changes over the years however, it still remains a wonderful place and still has the great food and great owners. I’m headed back to eat there today (8/6).“
“Great little place with excellent food and super attentive staff! ?Vegetarian options: Plenty of options if you eat eggs ? Parking: Parking lot is across the streetKid-friendliness: Place is small so well-behaved kids would be fine; however, one kid crying would ruin it for everyone there ?Wheelchair accessibility: No steps“
