“Such a great local haunt. Couldn't ask for more. Great atmosphere. Live music. Wide selection of liquors. Friendly crowd and atmosphere. And the barkeep that works the Tuesday night shift is truly the most amazing. Will definitely be back when I'm next passing through.“
“I used to go to Penn Monroe in the 90s in Monroeville and someone recently told me that Penn Murry was started by a few of the ex employees. The food was excellent and reasonably priced and everyone was very friendly. I will be going back again soon!“
“My wife and I have dined there a few times now and couldn't be happier with the food, service, and overall experience. We recently had a server named Grant and I have to say he was exceptionally good. He is what a great server is made of. I HIGHLY recommend Rodney's Restaurant to anyone looking for everything you want in a family style restaurant.“
“Burgers were outstanding! Juicy and cooked exactly as requested. I had the Yinzer with an egg on top. Friendly, helpful server was eager to customize the burger however you want. Fries were great too. Large selection of tap and bottled beers.Parking: Good number of free off street parking spots.“
“Had Wings here for the first.time since I relocated back home. These seasond wings are bomb!Taste like ur mama's old school seasoned wings and tossed in a brown bag full of flour.Hours are a.little didfrent.but now that I have that downI will be coming through oftenQ ings are.expensive to buy so if I can get a.dozen of these for 29 bucks on a night I don't want.to.cook it's a home run! Also very nice phone.service and.in person service.I walk with.2.canes.and.the young man without hesitation assisted me out to my car!Thank you!!“
“Excellent!! The ??? Chef is creative and very innovative. They happened to have run out of pita chips for the spinach and artichoke dip the other night. Most places would have just said they were out and and had you choose something else. This guy went the extra mile and made some from from scratch and they did not disappoint! Full of flavor and went well with the delicious dip. Our first time there and this is all the more reason we will return. Well done. Great place Kelly, cheers ?“
“This was a very last-minute option, but I have no regrets whatsoever. Searching for some late night eats, this establishment was open. Plenty of parking, a good amount of seating, and friendly staff here to serve you. I was skeptical on the food, but our server mentioned a special on a pizza, which we jumped at. There was even a special on a sandwich which was very good and not overwhelming. I just had to get their chips and homemade French onion dip. I’m not much of a potato chip person, but here, they had me. Consistency was great, not crazy salty, and perfect dip. Seriously, I could eat those bad boys all day. It’s one of the places where you aren’t expecting much but they hit you in the sweet spot. I didn’t realize how hungry I was, and I kept eating. American style bar/ restaurant, homely and filling. I’m sure if you are from around these parts, you have probably heard of or been here before. If you haven’t yet, just go. Give it a shot. Or two.“
“I've only been her twice for lent fish sandwiches so I can't rate anything else. Talk good meal. Crisp fries and a nice piece of fish. Not overly greasy. The staff was really nice. The dining room is unassuming but bright and clean. I'm interested to try other food here.“
“Stopped by while visiting Greensburg and had an Italian hoagie, hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve tried. I went 30 mins after open, they only run a limited menu at that time until the cook comes in. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!“
“Visited this establishment while in the area for a concert at the Palace Theatre and it was definitely worth stopping in for their food. Their menu is well rounded for a bar/restaurant. I had the Reuben and it was one of the best I've eaten. They also have a fairly extensive drink menu with seasonal beers and cocktails. The service and ambience were well suited for the type of establishment. It was a very busy night and food arrived very timely and the wait staff were very on point. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.“
“Stopped in as it was recommended by some locals. I ended up getting my food to go, but they had plenty of seating and TVs. The staff I engaged was friendly and helpful. I ordered wings and they hit the spot! I will definitely be back and will order the wings again, although next time I will get some pizza to go with it.“
“A little biased here, but my father built LaBarbe’s back in the late 1920’s. It’s gone through changes over the years however, it still remains a wonderful place and still has the great food and great owners. I’m headed back to eat there today (8/6).“
“Every Lent I go on a fish sammich quest. Who has the best fish sammich in the Pittsburgh area. My wife and I have been from Cranberry, to Moon Twnship, to Greensburgh to our local are in search of who has the best fish sammich for 2024. Hands down, House of 1000 Beers, New Ken, has by far the best sandwich. The fish was incredible , crispy, clearly patted down before putting on the bun. About 3 to 4in longer then the 12in bun. The bun itself was perfect. Lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese. Perfect tartar sauce…daaaamn! It is by far the best fish sammich in 100 mile radius. Whoever is making these in the kitchen is doing a great job. They take pride in their craft, job well done! Seriously, if ur looking for the best fish sammich, look no further than House of 1000 Beers , New Ken. Damn, job well done.“
“The Italian hoagies here are phenomenal! The only reason it's 4 stars is that with Covid19 going on, everyone is supposed to be wearing a mask according to our governor. When we ordered for pick up, two girls came out to have us sign the receipt and give us the food. Neither were wearing a mask and were right up at our window basically breathing in my boyfriends face. I'd feel more comfortable ordering here moving forward if the people working here actually wore a mask during this pandemic...“
“Quiet. Friendly. Cheap. Smoker friendly. Requires a membership. Pool available. Seems to be a bit nicer since the ownership changed hands.Parking: It's a little tricky to find as the parking is in an a lot only accessible from an alley of an alley behind the building and isn't clearly marked.“
“Had a reservation for 7 people and we all had such a blast. Great and attentive service even if we were a loud bunch. Live music was a plus near the bar area.Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. My order was a grilled chicken pear salad which was cooked perfectly and fresh fruits and veggies. Highly recommend. I also ordered coffee which was fresh and quickly refilled. My group had a great time and we would definitely love to come back during warmer weather for the patio outside.“
“We have been to Shooti's numerous times. Food is consistently good and plenty of items to choose from.Today our wait staff was checked out...on her phone. She was not attentive to her customers. Didn't know how to make a Manhattan. Not that complicated. Hopefully this is an exception and not the rule.“
“10/10, the best and most authentic Mexican food (and drinks) in the area!! We love the chips and queso w/ chorizo, and honestly everything on the menu. The margs are well-balanced, not made with a margarita mix and therefore don't give you a sugar hangover the next day. Maderos is a Murrysville staple!“
“Annie is the best barmaid. Friendly, sweet and does a great job even when super.busy. she works the entire bar and half the bar area. She still has to run back to the kitchen all the time, can't figure out why she does t get help running food and dishes BUT she takes it in stride and keeps everyone happy! She is a prime reason we keep going back and back.“
“Jigger's is just not a hometown pub. It is known in all of the surrounding communities for being a great restaurant and a good time meeting place. The food is great, and the wings are award winning. I'm looking forward to the next time I get to go to Jigger's.“
