Their Italian tomato sauce is out of this world! It reminds me so much of grandmother’s cooking and my childhood home in Brooklyn!! The owners are so nice! Without a doubt, I highly recommend Penn Murry! Five star rating!!“

Folks inside were friendly, checked on me a couple times, and the place felt clean and laid back, not stuffy. For the price I walked out full and relaxed, I’d sure swing back through here again“

“I’m going to start with that this is hands down the best bar in the Pittsburgh area!!! I have been here for 44 years! The food is amazing, best hot dog I’ve ever had and hamburgers are great! But what makes this place special is the costumers!!!! Friendly and welcoming and down right awesome!!!! But the reason is because of the owner!!!!!!! She is just incredibly genuine!!!!!! This place is a reflection of her!!!! No bar I have been in this area comes close!!!!!!! Authentic from customers to food and especially the owner!!!!!!“

“My family stopped by on Saturday afternoon ordered a Pgh pizza and loaded fries. The Pizza was out of this world. The fries were fresh cut and delicious. Our server was Jodie and she was so friendly and efficient we never had to ask a refill on drinks. Most pleasant trip there ever.“

Parking: It's a little tricky to find as the parking is in an a lot only accessible from an alley of an alley behind the building and isn't clearly marked.“
