“My husband and I stopped around 7:00 pm on Saturday evening. It was busy but the service was excellent. Our food order was taken quickly and our order was quick.i thought with all the people it would take a lot longer. I had the Ruben and my husband had the fish sandwich. Both were hot and delicious. I would recommend the food to everyone. I was disappointed I was not made aware of the convenience fee until I paid the bill. If cash was better I would’ve paid in cash if I was made aware of this policy. I also had the Cinterlands Porter. Excellent draft. But did not expect to pay $7 a draft. Wish I would’ve known the price before. It was my fault for not checking before I ordered 2 of them. But still a remarkable dinner.“
“We had a Delicious Dinner this evening at the Tarentum Station.Our server William was Excellent !!! He was Very Professional and obviously experienced.He was at our table at our table any time we needed him, he was very observant as soon as any of our drinks were getting low and took away any empty dish from our table.The Tarentum Station is a Beautiful Old Historic Building that is beautifully maintained.If anyone is looking for a quaint, very welcoming restaurant with Linen table linens don’t hesitate to go for a Delicious Lunch Or Dinner. “Barefoot is your normal Western PA bar food with good whole fried chicken wings with several flavors to choose from. The wings are done where the meat is still moist and the skin gives a nice crunch. The atmosphere is relaxing and it isn't a hectic bar. They also do a dinner and trivia night. I enjoyed my experience there and looking forward in returning for future events.ATMOSPHERE- Dim lit, wood den style interior with witches, alcohol & biker theme memorabilia decor. Patrons were friendly, social and I would even go to say eager to mingle.FOOD- I ordered meatloaf & gravy, than a side of wings. The Meatloaf & mashed potato blew me away. But I was more surprised on the meat & veggie soup I got [stew]. Wow! The smoked wings had cinnamon, sugar dry rub which I find disgusting and quite insulting on poultry so not a fan. However, I gave them out to other patrons at the bar and they seemed to say great things. So, perhaps it's a local thing? ? I also ordered an Italian Hoagie to-go which was upsetting later that night when I opened the container to eat.It was less Italian and more a basic "Ham & Cheese" with a few sad shred hairs of lettice, reminiscent of the ones identical to what I got on Highschool field trips box lunches. The fries were overly greasy & limp tall tale sign of freezer burn. But, nonetheless very interested to go back and try other menu items.PRICE- Average bar prices. For outside the city of Pittsburgh.PARKING- Great alley for two lanes of bikes. [I hope someone brushes gravel from initial entrance in the future, though as it is a hazard]STAFF- Extremely friendly, helpful, and respectful [hellos & thanks yous]. I ordered jumbo wings at very very affordable price and not going to lie, my expectations were low just because good affordable wings are hard to find in the areea. “The Italian hoagies here are phenomenal! The only reason it's 4 stars is that with Covid19 going on, everyone is supposed to be wearing a mask according to our governor. When we ordered for pick up, two girls came out to have us sign the receipt and give us the food. Neither were wearing a mask and were right up at our window basically breathing in my boyfriends face. I'd feel more comfortable ordering here moving forward if the people working here actually wore a mask during this pandemic...“
“Every Lent I go on a fish sammich quest. Who has the best fish sammich in the Pittsburgh area. My wife and I have been from Cranberry, to Moon Twnship, to Greensburgh to our local are in search of who has the best fish sammich for 2024. Hands down, House of 1000 Beers, New Ken, has by far the best sandwich. The fish was incredible , crispy, clearly patted down before putting on the bun. About 3 to 4in longer then the 12in bun. The bun itself was perfect. Lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese. Perfect tartar sauce…daaaamn! It is by far the best fish sammich in 100 mile radius. Whoever is making these in the kitchen is doing a great job. They take pride in their craft, job well done! Seriously, if ur looking for the best fish sammich, look no further than House of 1000 Beers , New Ken. Damn, job well done.“
“Really nice casual neighborhood place with good food. I pick up delivery orders here pretty often. Bartender always has a handle on everything. My customers are always happy. People loafing at the bar are always relaxed and happy. One day, I'll stop in here and just be a customer. Send like a real chill spot.“

“I have eaten at Mike's about 10 times since moving here a couple of months ago. It is definately a neighborhood bar. They have the best cheese burger and made from scratch fries that I have found so here so far. The beer has been cold every time and the food and drinks prices are decent. The bartenders are friendly. It is a non smoking bar with an outside deck. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a neighborhood place to eat, drink and watch the game.“
“What a great place to spend an evening! It is tucked away in the back of the Quality Inn. I went for country line dance night. The bar is very spacious. Staff was friendly and attentive. The dance floor was small but mighty. There was an elevated level at the front of the dance floor for performers /DJs, so that was cool. The vibes were great. I didn't eat food, but my friend did and she really liked it. It looked good to me!“

“Met some friends on a Saturday night to listen to a band. I haven't been here in years....but not much has changed...cheap outdoor seating, worn decking but still a great outdoor spot. Service was fine no complaints. Draft list boring but drinks not overly expensive. Band was great, playlist very enjoyable. Now for the main event....the people watching. This place is almost surreal...it's the most eclectic collection of people under one roof I've ever witnessed. I'd guess ages ranged from mid 20s to 80s (not joking). If you are an avid people watcher...it's a must because no words could do it justice. My head was on a swivel the entire evening. Lots of elderly tearing up the dance floor, people dressed like they were hitting a dance club in the city, the real housewives of FC in the mix, lots of Steeler jerseys and Pirate hats, it's just a fun mess! I will say people were happy and having a good time. The 4-stars is definitely for the people.“

Honestly I was told the blue lagoon was really good and it's vodka blue curaçao lemonade it was a very good drink just wish it had more lemonade flavor to it. And as far as the raspberry long island goes it's perfectly delicious and scrumptious. Their seasoned fries and Mac attack bowls Cajun shrimp was quite delicious. Although personally I might ask for more Cajun next time. I love to be able to see it in the delicious creamy white sauce they pair it with also the shrimp in this delicious delicacy is fried.
