“We’ve been going to Elly’s since we moved here a few years back and it’s a true testament to we need more women owned businesses. The food is killer. The staff is fantastic. The atmosphere has something for everyone. Their food is moderately priced for good portions, and they have amazing specials - $5 happy hour menu and $10 rotating entree special. They just added some new food to the menu with turkey handhelds, weekend breakfast, and Lenten specials on Fridays. I’m ready to come back and try it all. Support local - eat Elly’s.“

“We had our wedding rehearsal dinner for twelve there last Friday evening. I had made the reservation with Doug, the very nice owner, a month prior after he graciously showed me the restaurant. At Doug's suggestion, I called ahead that day to have some appetizers ready when we arrived and they were there, hot, fresh and delicious when my guests arrived. The restaurant was very busy but the food and service were excellent. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food and drinks they ordered. Farrah, our server, was friendly, pleasant and efficient. I would definitely recommend DeBlaze 131 and hope to return there soon.“

“Visiting Pittsburgh over the weekend and couldn’t miss our Buckeyes vs TTUN. Mike’s Beer Bar was recommended, and it was hands down one of the best game day bar experiences we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was incredible, drink menu (both on tap and cans) showing a plethora of choices to satisfy anyone, and great food. The staff was second to none and very friendly as well. “Wonderful atmosphere, workers and guests. Went for the .50 wings that were out of this world, crispy and seasoned well. 4 different flavors: ranch, mild buffalo, Emsworth sauce and hot barbecue. So yummy. Darrell the owner, came over to check on us a few times and was very kind and talkative. Ice cream sandwich was crazy good. Would 100% go again, we are already talking about it and willing to try the different specials as well!“

I went here on a first date type of thing, didn't know him, neither of us knew the place. We were welcomed like family, the drinks were perfect and there was a guy playing sax in the other room for an optional cover. As someone who doesn't like live music because it is always too loud, the fact that it was optional was incredible to me. Now 6 years later, I'm eager to try this place again!“
