My family and I were here on Sunday November 16, 2025. Both bartenders were excellent and very positive and outgoing. The food was amazing. We had fish sandwiches and fries.
I ordered a large white pizza with different ingredients on it and specifically said NO FETA. Waitress Sharon took my cell w my wife’s text order on it to make sure she got it correct. It has more. feta than I’ve ever seen on Pizza. I tried calling and it disconnected and now the call will not go through at all. I am not driving back down there to pick up another pizza. My wife will never order from them again because this is not the first time there has been a mistake...read full review

Castle Tavern South is an awesome place with friendly staff and delicious food. Highly recommended are the Fish Sandwich, Italian Hoagie, and the killer fries. The holy heck 88 hoagie and cheese pizza are also must-tries. Recently, the turkey club wrap and Dooley pie pizza have been praised for their good size and taste. The burgers are big, and the fries are crispy. The black diamond sirloin & blue wrap has also received positive feedback. Despite being packed, the service remains excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who know the menu well. The restaurant has a nice selection of draft beer and many bottle/can options. The seating area is comfortable, with sports pennants for many Pennsylvania ball teams adding to a good atmosphere for watching games. Castle Tavern South is a hidden gem worth trying for a flavorful meal, and the parking is convenient, making it easy to visit.
