“Walking into the old post office feels like stepping back in time. The building is beautifully renovated, with charming side rooms that add to the cozy atmosphere. Everything is made fresh, and the coffee was absolutely amazing. Our breakfast sandwiches were delicious—hot, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We loved how dog-friendly it was, making it easy to pop in and out with your pup. The whole place has a warm, family-friendly vibe. Truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Carnegie!”

“The 5 stars rating say it all. I ate there the first year Chef Greg opened the door to the public. I've dined there from its earliest days until now. Pastas, meatballs and sauces are outstanding. I only wish they would bring back the Panna Cotta. The menu is limited but that's how the quality is maintained, this is not Pasta Too.”

“It was just a take out order. But was a very comfortable experience. I was greeted by a super friendly woman, who seemed very happy to help anyway she could. The pizza was delicious! Love that curld up pepperoni! lol I will return, and recommend Slice to anyone who is looking for some good Pizza nearby! Thanks Again!”

“Links is a golfed themed brewery that has recently taken off since moving to Carnegie and growing rapidly. They have a small beer selection on tap and cans available as well. All beers, including the stout and IPAs are very drinkable. Not too strong and not too hoppy. They go down easy, perfect for drinking there on weekend or while you’re on the back 9. They are Bring Your Own Food (BYOF), and since there are plenty of options nearby, pick up beforehand or order while you’re there. The owners are incredibly friendly and take the time to get to know their customers. Had a great experience my first time there and will forever sure be back to see what else is new items they have coming.”

“We had lunch at LeoGreta today and stopped at the bakery as we were leaving. We just tried the apple pie and it was delicious. Great crust and the filling wasn’t overly sweet, apples had a bite still and the spices were perfect! I had a good cappuccino as well! Definitely recommend and will be back!”

“If you like a hometown, locally owned restaurant feel, this is a great place to visit. It has a bit of a Rustic / Grandma's kitchen vibe. Food is excellent! Omelettes are in my opinion stellar, with the proper amount of all ingredients. Bacon is awesome, thin and crispy, just how I like it! Pancakes are also excellent and super tasty. Overeasy eggs are also cooked perfectly. Carry and Barb are 2 of the best breakfast chefs I have had out, period.. As of 2023 I'm 50 years old so have had breakfast a ton of places locally and nationally. I live about 3 miles away from the restaurant location so since I discovered it I try to stop once or twice a week. Definitely one of Pittsburgh's hidden local neighborhood gems. It is one of those small local places where if you know how good it is, you KNOW, and remember....”

“The bartender, Danielle is personable and professional as is the DJ, Sean (he takes requests, BTW). A late first visit, so I missed the food - kitchen was closed. I'll be returning to try the food and shoot pool; the backroom has a table, dartboard, and a pinball machine. Good vibes from the locals, too.”

“I absolutely love this place. My favorites are chicken kabobs and Mediterranean pizza. If you have not tried either, you are missing out. Every who works there is well mannered and they always make me feel appreciated. One time out of 100 times I ordered, they made a mistake and corrected it immediately and with a smile.”

“A group of 8 went to celebrate Galentine's. The service was amazing. They checked on us frequently to make everything was good. They played birthday song for someone else and notice we sang and were wishing happy birthday to someone at our table. Boom they brought the hat, a dessert and played the music again for us. We had a memorable evening. Esther was our wait staff I believe. Thank you for taking care of us. Thank you for making our Valentine's fabulous!”

“We’ve been going to Elly’s since we moved here a few years back and it’s a true testament to we need more women owned businesses. The food is killer. The staff is fantastic. The atmosphere has something for everyone. Their food is moderately priced for good portions, and they have amazing specials - $5 happy hour menu and $10 rotating entree special. They just added some new food to the menu with turkey handhelds, weekend breakfast, and Lenten specials on Fridays. I’m ready to come back and try it all. Support local - eat Elly’s.”

“We had our wedding rehearsal dinner for twelve there last Friday evening. I had made the reservation with Doug, the very nice owner, a month prior after he graciously showed me the restaurant. At Doug's suggestion, I called ahead that day to have some appetizers ready when we arrived and they were there, hot, fresh and delicious when my guests arrived. The restaurant was very busy but the food and service were excellent. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food and drinks they ordered. Farrah, our server, was friendly, pleasant and efficient. I would definitely recommend DeBlaze 131 and hope to return there soon.”

Service was okay, not overly friendly.

We just ordered the spared ribs with fried rice and an egg roll. We forgot to get boneless spareribs. It would have had more meat than bone as the bone in was a bit tough.

Prices were very reasonable for that area.”
