“We had lunch at LeoGreta today and stopped at the bakery as we were leaving. We just tried the apple pie and it was delicious. Great crust and the filling wasn’t overly sweet, apples had a bite still and the spices were perfect! I had a good cappuccino as well! Definitely recommend and will be back!“

“I often work remotely from my laptop, and this shop has always been my go-to after moving to the Southside in 2020. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and the baristas are extra attentive and caring. I love this spot so much so that after two years of being a "regular" I started working here part time. As a customer turned employee, I can honestly say that being behind the counter is just as amazing as my experience from the other side of the bar. Lavinia puts so much heart into every detail and cares deeply about fostering a sense of community within the shop (for both employees and customers). I recommend Delanie's to everyone in hopes of it becoming their favorite spot too!“

“Absolutely delicious matcha drinks with mixologist skill, lovely service, and excellent baked goods: cookies, miso-sesame biscuits are a must try! My gf and I are regulars here. We think it’s the best matcha house in Pittsburgh.

Besides the drinks and baked goods, they offer blended matcha powders for at-home as well as tasteful tea-mixing accoutrement. We’ve enjoyed making teas at home, but there’s nothing like coming in.

We haven’t tried their soft-serve yet but are excited to!

“Incredible meal, outstanding service, cool vibe. Scallops were fresh, perfectly cooked chicken, and the best Panna cotta I've ever had. I asked the server for pairings and they were all perfect. First time having a Pinela and loved it. I wish I was there with someone to try more. It was a last minute decision to eat here and really only stumbled upon it. So glad I found it! Definitely worth a visit. Make a reservation or get there when they open to sit at the bar.“

“Been in Oakland for a few years and Sidecar is my go-to cafe for myself and to meet up with friends. The food is phenomenal, their baked goods are perfection, and the drinks are delicious. Special shout out to the barista Em for making some of the best coffees I’ve ever had and always having great drink recommendations and such cheerful, professional customer service. The entire place is decorated so cutely with their signature mugs and wall art (please start selling the mugs!) and their iconic mirror wall. I recommend Sidecar whenever a friend mentions they want to get coffee, and I always recommend the Pittsburgh Smog tea and cinnamon rolls.“

“I stopped in Espresso A Mano for the first time this morning. The two baristas were very welcoming and helpful with guiding me on what to try. One of the men explained they make blends of coffee and syrups in house. I tried their house iced chai tea latte and it is to die for! This shop is a bit out of my way, but I’ll absolutely be back to try more items on the menu!“

“Potomac station is a great little corner coffee shop. The coffee is made properly and the pastries and paninis are made there. Try the Mayan Mocha and the pumpkin cinnamon rolls. I highly recommend it. Andrew runs a tight ship.

“This is an awesome place to get boba! It’s definitely quite far from my usual takeout places, but definitely worth the drive every once in a while. It’s locally owned and the prices are some of the best around. I decided to try out their pineapple milk tea.

The drink was very tasty and refreshing. It’s got that hint of creaminess from the milk, but still tastes quite light. The portion is fantastic; much larger than most places. The pineapple flavor really shines through, too. Quite sweet. And, the bobs is very fresh. They have several options for pearls, but the classic definitely hits the spot.

All in all, I really liked this place. It’s one of the best boba shops I’ve tried in a while. Definitely recommend the milk teas.

So many details of this coffee shop whisper thoughtful consideration from the menu options to the compostable/non-compostable bins. There's wifi for working, multiple styles of tables to choose from, and just the very best vibe.

And how charming that a barista was kind enough to point out that my overalls had a twist in the back, and she helped me fix them. I love good people. <3

“Coffee was decent enough. This olace is a 1-star at best, based on who is working. On tuesday I arrived right as they opened. The young woman who unlocked to the door and stepped to the side to grab a sign so I waited for her to approach the door. As she opens it, I hold the door. She doesn't greet me with a smile or a thank you, but instead, she states, "I'm fine thank you" and walks past me. You would think they would at least let the customer walk in first.

As I approach the counter the cashier doesn't say a word, he just looks at me. I ordered my drink and left.

These people working are obviously miserable and have no interest in friendliness toward their guests. There are 15 other coffee shops down town, there is no reason to have to put up with this. Their coffee is decent, but not worth dealing with two unwelcoming employees, one who gives the notion she thinks she is above the customer.

On Thursday, the two I saw before weren't there. a taller guy was working and was friendly as can be. Made a total difference and would haven given 5 stats if it wasn't for the other two staff on Tuesday.“
