“I don’t get wowed often but this place is worth every penny. We got the cheapest bread you could buy and steak tar tar to start, both were great, then we shared 2 large entrees - the rainbow trout and the chicken, both were 10/10, probably the most perfectly cooked fish I’ve ever had in my life and again I don’t get wowed often. This is by far now our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh to go to, hands down a PREMIERE spot to eat.“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“
“Riley and the gang are roasting and serving up the best coffee in the city. You can always expect super chill vibes, a diverse pour over menu, and the occasional seasonal specialty drink that will alter your brain chemistry forever. These guys love coffee and it shows. The weekend line might be long, but it’s absolutely worth the wait!“

“The workers take such good care of these cats & truly make sure they’re going to be in the best hands. It’s so admirable to see the team work so tirelessly out of the goodness of their own heart. I greatly reccomend them!“
“I’ve been meaning to try this place for a little while now and finally got around to it, with a friend of mine. The place itself is lovely, very clean, lots of open space, and lovely staff. I got to try their classic latte with skim milk (I think, or some plant based milk) and my friend had their super fruit tea.
I regret not being a bit more adventurous with my order, but it was a very solid latte nonetheless. Great portion, great art, very creamy despite it not being whole milk.
My friend was a little disappointed with their fruit tea. Portion seemed to be noticeably smaller by a good bit. There was an option to sweeten it that they opted not to do and probably should have done!
All in all, very nice spot in Homestead. There’s even a little place to get water. Definitely recommend this coffee shop.“

“The Lemon Rose Iced Latte was very refreshing. Perfect combination of two very unexpected flavors. The cinnamon roll with the buttercream was equally delicious . I’m so glad I googled coffee near me while we were at Shadyside hospital.“

“If you are tired of the large coffee locations making drinks not worth the money then you want to go to Pour Johnny's. I was looking for a locally owned coffee shop to fill my need and they did not disappoint. The owners are always there and my drink was amazing. This was my first time there but definitely will not be my last. If your looking for a new coffee shop please give them a try. I am so glad I did and love supporting a locally owned business.“

“This was an excellent find off our beaten path. We were here for Anthrocon and happened to be in the area and oh my goodness whis was AMAZING. The Back Home Latte was fantastic and their shortbread treats (I forgot the name but I had date and pistachio) were so goooooood. This is a must visit location!“

“Needle & Bean is my home away from home in the South Hills. Every barista is so welcoming and people I look forward to being served by and also getting music recommendations from. Mike, the owner, is always great for a music convo, plus his taste in music is impeccable. Not only that but it's one of the only coffee shops in the South Hills with free parking! This isn't even mentioning their 3rd wave coffee and superb vinyl offerings and growing event calendar. I cannot recommend N&B enough.“

“New to the area and first time here. Cute lil coffee shop and loved the wall of dog Polaroids. Got a cold brew and everything bagel and both were delicious and fairly priced. Friend I went with said it was the best tiramisu coffee she had ever had. (Did not know that was a thing but apparently hits) definitely will be back :)“

“A chill spot for great coffee and small bite to eat. Popped in on our way out of the city. The barista was very helpful! Ordered the dulche de Leche and mocha - both were very good, neither too sweet. I really enjoyed the rich caco flavor of the mocha. Also ordered a chicken empanada with the chimi sauce - wow! Chicken was not heavily seasoned and flavorful, empanada crust was firm and crisp, and the chimi was great!! Also purchased a chocolate bar from the Putumayo department of Columbia- flavorful yet not overpowering. Can't wait to use the coffee beans we also purchased.“

“Personally, I prefer a chai to a coffee, but I really wasn't ready for the best chai of my life. I can't express that statement enough. Literally ....OF. MY. LIFE. I made sure to mention that to the owner (Adam) who crafted that heavenly concoction. Staff was really awesome as well. They seem to get along well and really enjoy their jobs, which translates to the vibe of the cafe itself. It's very chill and welcoming. Lots of cute pups come and go and there's even a water dish out front for them. As far as food, I had some donut balls and they were also very impressive. I didn't get a chance to have a sandwich, but I did notice people taking pictures of them before eating because they were so aesthetically pleasing. They must've been delicious as well because I heard multiple people comment to the staff how great their food was on their way out. 10/10 would recommend... Next time I'm in town, I'll be trying more options.“

“Wonderful little privately owned coffee shop! Coffee is great and they have all the different types available. There’s some seating indoors and outdoors but it’s very limited. It’s more of a “get your coffee and GO” type of place. I would recommend this little coffee shop!“
“Absolutely loved this place! It’s such a cute little shop and the owner is so sweet. I wanted a really yummy, but low calorie latte and he took his time explaining different options and swaps he could do to make my latte how I wanted it. It ended up being really good! Can’t wait to come back :)“

“I am a proud coffee snob. This coffee shop is worth the search. Do yourself a favor and cross the river climb the hill and try this hidden gem. The dark roast coffee is one of the best cups of coffee I’ve had, robust, smooth with depth of flavor. Just perfect as a pour over with a touch of cream. The mocha latte was perfectly creamy and lightly sweet. We also had an apple muffin, I got the last one, now I see why they sell out to quickly. Don’t settle for week or Chan coffee when you are in the ‘burgh, 5 minutes out of the city, free parking in a bright airy cafe. What more could you need in a bright morning?“

“It was a nice cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating inside the Moose Building. It was spacious, with easy parking, restrooms, and WiFi. The coffee was reasonably-priced. We didn’t try the food. For a while some kitchen appliance was making a lot of background noise, so if they cleared that up it would be great.“
“I feel so lucky to live just down the street from this coffee shop! My go-to order is a small mocha, and the 8oz is always perfectly balanced between slightly sweet chocolate and strong espresso. The staff are so friendly, and I love popping in when I need an afternoon pick me up when working from home or I want a drink to sip as I window shop on Potomac.“
“I’ve been coming here almost every morning. The latte is always delicious, and the service is amazing. The guy and the girl working here are always friendly and welcoming. They make my mornings better, and I’ll definitely keep coming back!!“

“My wife and I came to the chef's table event last night, it was our first time there. and we had a fantastic time, the service was impeccable, the food was delicious. It was a wonderful experience and we will be back again.“
“Fantastic new coffee shop downtown. Very fun menu with unique, creative items and of course the classics as well. I got to try their double baked pistachio filled croissant and one of their specialty coffee drinks called The Force.
Lots of cool themes here. The Force is a drink that includes both Nutella and cookie butter. It was, of course, quite sweet and reminded me of hot chocolate. It was really good, naturally. Honestly though I’m not sure I could distinctly tell the cookie butter was there.
The pistachio croissant was also one of the best I’ve had in a little while. They can warm it up too! Perfectly flakey on the outside, and buttery on the inside. Loads of pistachio. Perfectly sweet. Really, really good.
All in all, definitely recommend this place. Awesome vibe and delicious pastries and drinks. Yes, some of the drinks are a little pricey (maybe the specialty ones), but they are delicious.“

“Very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, unusual selection of food including sandwiches, yummy looking pies (yes, pies!), baked goods (had the best scone ever - caramel toffee!). Very tasty iced latte. Not too into the old hippie vibe (lived thru it once, enough) but that'sy personal preference. Will definitely go out of my way to go there again.“

“Walking into the old post office feels like stepping back in time. The building is beautifully renovated, with charming side rooms that add to the cozy atmosphere. Everything is made fresh, and the coffee was absolutely amazing. Our breakfast sandwiches were delicious—hot, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We loved how dog-friendly it was, making it easy to pop in and out with your pup. The whole place has a warm, family-friendly vibe. Truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Carnegie!“
