“Easily the best pizza I've had in Pittsburgh! I'm from NY and I've been looking everywhere for the perfect slice. This is it. Ingredients are all made in-house and it shows. We just finished our order and I already can't wait to go back. I don't review much on yelp but you all need to know about this place!!!”
“amazing place, turkish coffee was superb, i had meat qutab which was delicious and lamb chops. highest reccomendation. the staff was extremely kind and hospitable. service was at a very relaxed pace which is wonderful because many restaurants want to rush you; they did not at all :).”
“The pastries were delicious, the customer service is a different story. We weren't offered any drinks, they assumed we were taking the pastries to go, so they were in a hurry to put them on plates.Once we paid and sat down, we were basically ignored.”
“Tasty bread and premium deli meats on these subs! They’re not cheap, but the price is right for quality and location in 2024. I was hoping the sandwich came with a pickle but it did not…Parking: Paid street parking on Washington Rd, or you can use the paid parking garage on the same block.”
“We just recently moved to Pittsburgh and love Thai food. We ended up eating here 3 times that first week. Amazing flavor in their dishes. Be warned, they take their spice levels seriously. 7/10 is hot! Overall, amazing food with great flavor. Try the basil or garlic dish with shrimp!”
“Coffee is amazing! Everyone is very nice. I only gave 4 starts because of the ice. It’s little small pieces of ice, from a cooler that melts instantly. I would love for them to serve big pieces of ice. So my ice coffee can stay cold, & not taste like water :/”
“I didn't like the first plain/traditional slice I had since they were taken from the traditional pie which just came out of the oven. They were both floppy (cheese fell off). After some time, when I asked for pepperoni and cheese slices, they were both really good. I believe when they reheated the slices, they were no longer floppy and cheese remained on the slices. Their sauce is a little sweeter so I had to compensate that with pepper flakes but overall slices were fresh and good. Service was very friendly. Cash only.”
“Had lunch for the first time in years on 3 /20..Had a very nice server Maria .Did an excellent job.We ordered 2 apps and a caprese salad to start.Arancinni And the meatballs.Came out quickly and were excellent.Nice portions, cooked pefectly and hot..Then ordered ravioli which again were delicious and nice portion..Will be back ”
“Is Betsy's closed? I stopped by today for an ice cream cone, after I ate a jade grill, and there were no signs the door was closed. It was dark inside so I don't know. Are they just closed on Mondays or has Betsy's closed for good? Please let me know.”
“I met my future wife here. She is the love of my future life!Dietary restrictions: The establishment did serve candy cigarettesParking: Clean, very cleanKid-friendliness: They gave my kid smiles and free coffeeWheelchair accessibility: Steep ramp”
“We had a great meal with friends. Atrias kept the drinks flowing all night. We especially enjoyed the habenero mango mules. The yuengling battered fish was great too.”
“This location has always had great pizza. I’ve never had to wait for my order. The only downside to this location to be the parking lot but when you go in the evening, there’s not many cars there. I also only order online to be picked up in the store and they have never incorrectly made my order. Not to mention the two pizza deals are great value and plenty of food.”
“A Pittsburgh classic, worth experiencing at least once. My sandwich (double egg and cheese) was excellent, the fries so savory and the cole slaw so crisp. Will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Not a lot of vegetarian options, but my go-to is the double egg and cheese classic sandwich. They used to have an impossible or beyond burger, iirc, but I didn't see that on the menu this time around.”
“Brendan is the absolute best employee at this Panera. He was on his A-Game while he took our order and suggested a really good deal regarding my points.Dude is fire and needs a raise.”
“This place is one of...if not THE BEST restaurant in the area. Food was amazing with so many choices with such great textures and flavors melded together. Service here is impeccable and the ambiance is perfect. We will definitely be back for more if we get a reservation.”
“We came here for my sister's birthday and ordered crab Rangoon, fried pork belly, vegetable samosa, momo dumplings, red, yellow, and green curries, and also the spicy noodles. The crab Rangoon and fried porkbelly were our table's favorites and the momo dumplings were super tender. The fried chicken breast on the spicy noodles were very tender ? overall a fantastic experience at a super friendly family owned restaurant. Would highly recommend!”
“I come from a Mexican family in California, so when I moved to Pittsburgh, I was deeply disappointed at the lack of good, authentic Mexican food. When I found this place, I rejoiced! The food is amazing: made with the authentic basics in mind, yet refined with originality. It really feels like home in all the best ways.”
“Beyond being some of the (if not the sole) best Italian food I have ever had, what stands out most about Dish Osteria is their commitment to true hospitality; we arrived early to have drinks at the bar, and from the start we were treated with care and true personal interest. The bartender was so insightful and walked us through the menu, answering any questions we might have so that we could order our dinner with ease (it was last Wednesday at 8PM— I forget his name, but please give him his flowers. He was amazing!). I had the Little Bird bourbon cocktail and absolutely loved it. This level of care continued as we moved to our table for dinner. Our waiter and host went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our meal, refreshing our bread without us having to ask (that homemade focaccia was dangerous— we couldn’t stop eating it!), suggesting wine pairings, and also allowing us to taste two options when we couldn’t choose. Every single dish we ordered was phenomenally crafted and delicious ; we ordered the Gamberi shrimp and grilled artichoke salad to start, followed by the short rib ragu gnocchi and rigatoni with smoked scamorza for our entrees (I will dream about both of these dishes for some time). For dessert, we had the lemon cello cheesecake, which was perfectly balanced with sweet and tangy flavors. Our waiter also provided us with a complimentary glass of moscato with our dessert. This was a phenomenal first experience at this restaurant and I cannot wait to come back. I’m also gifting a visit here to some of my friends for their anniversary and can’t wait for them to try it as well!”
“Do yourself a favor and order the potatoes, they are crispy and perfectly seasoned. The bread is amazing as are the other Italian baked goods!Dietary restrictions: There are several baked goods labeled nut-free”
“This place is AMAZING! My mom and I are in town for a college tour, and many people were walking around with the ice cream so I suggested we give it a try. Immediately the two guys in there were delightful and very helpful and cheery. The atmosphere was so fun the moment we walked in. The flavors were amazing and I almost couldn’t choose between the Thin Mint and the Pittsburgh Pride. I ended up going with the latter. It is like brownie/oreo/cookie chunks and butterscotch. There might be another thing added. My mom got the pear flavor. We are both extremely satisfied with our choices. They did say that the flavors change up pretty often - for example, they’re getting ready for Blackberry Lemonade. But Pittsburgh Pride will always be available. So if you’re looking for a cute little dessert place after dinner, this is the place!”
“I had the oyster mushroom sandwich. I felt like they could have added more mushroom because the bun is very thick but it was still delicious. The plantains I could tell were a bit old however. The portion sizes are also a bit small. The sorrel drink I had was on point though. I definitely recommend this place I just think there's opportunity to improve.”
“best breakfast i’ve had in pgh! place was packed when we arrived but the line moves quickly. we had our orders taken within 10-15 minutes and food came shortly after. excellent service and AMAZING food & coffee. definitely will be ”
“Absolutely delicious and server was so nice!We loved the tandoori chicken, cheesy garlic naan, masala fries and paneer tikka masala!Dietary restrictions: Good options for vegan and vegetarianKid-friendliness: There were families with children”
“I just came for the first time with my brother in law, and I was beyond impressed with the food, atmosphere, and customer service! I didn’t make my meat a sandwich which I instantly regretted and they had no problem giving me a bun to make my experience better! They have special sauces at every table and let me tell you— AMAZING! They were friendly, considerate, and anticipated customer needs with skill! Not to mention how quick the food was ready— I was astonished! McDonald’s could never! I’m 10/10 coming back and recommending to all my friends and family! Thank you Mission BBQ for an amazing experience (and dinner!!) (P.S check out the photos of military/first responders on the walls— on the way to the bathroom you’ll see a photo of my brother in law with an aircraft!)”
“Everything is amazing - the drinks, food, service, ambiance. It’s been a while since I’ve come across a cafe in Pittsburgh that has it all - highly recommend!”
“I photographed Jen & Josh's wedding here and it was a fantastic experience. The location is second to none in Pittsburgh with its amazing views of the city, and the food and service are outstanding. It is a great location for photos as well. I highly recommend it!”
“A great hidden spot, you might miss it driving past but once you come you’ll wonder why you haven’t tried it. Great seating, even more so now that they added a covered and heated exterior.”
“I got a Tres Leches cake for my husband’s birthday. I was looking for a Tres leches cake at the last moment and this amazing bakery had one on stock and it met my needs. Highly recommended for Mexican desserts ❤️ 10/10 for this one ?”
“Steve and I enjoyed our Easter dinner at Senti. Chef Antonio created a very fresh Linguine Con Vongole with rapini and brought back his Pollo Valdastana, which was do flavorful with ham and fontina cheese. We enjoyed our time with Holly at the bar and talking with Franco. We just. love the welcoming atmosphere here.”
