“Great open mic night. Lot of talented musicians and very impressed. Will make my way back. Bartender was on top of it and the drinks are reasonably priced. Draft beers were cold and served promptly despite a good crowd. What else can be said? Overall felt like a small hometown bar should.“
“Great lunch. I had the hangover burger. ½Pound burger cooked just right with an over easy egg, bacon, American cheese and cheesy hash browns! Wow! Comes with a side of fresh cut fries. Server was great also. Group of 6 and all of our food arrived hot and delicious at the same time!“
“Let me start by saying, this deserves 6 stars. The food was fabulous, the size of the entrees was enormous, the atmosphere was wonderful and our server Kassidy was wonderful. It is not often you get both quality and quantity, but here you will. The menu is filled many unique dishes and appetizers. I included photos of the menu for review. We had the baked goat cheese appetizer which Kassidy recommended and it didn't disappoint. In fact this may be the best appetizer I have ever had. The bread was like nothing I have ever had, it was so good. Besides the wonderful entrees, I would recommend getting this appetizer even if you got nothing else. I probably don't have to add this, but I HIGHLY recommend this Jaffre's location if you are looking for a wonderful meal, delicious food and great service.Thank you again Kassidy for the recommendations and helping make our first time at Jaffres in Latrobe extra special.PS: I forgot to mention their fries are fresh cut and AWESOME!Parking: Very large parking lot in the back, with plenty of available parking.“
“Chill dive bar. The hot wings weren't very hot but they were crispy and not gamey. Their wing breading was unique, light and crispy. We ordered a small pizza with 3 toppings. The dough and sauce were sweet, which I personally do not like. But the amount of toppings was very generous. Service and atmosphere were good so we will be back but probably won't order wings again (just cuz lack of heat) and definitely wouldn't order pizza again.“
“I highly recommend this hidden gem. The food portions are huge and the prices are low. The waitress we had was very friendly and enjoyable. The only 2 downfalls to this place is that there isn't a lot of parking available and once you enter there isn't a lot of seating inside.“
“Almost saw me and my wife's 10-year anniversary ruined due to both incompetence and rudeness at another fine dining restaurant here in Greensburg called The Venue, where the table I had reserved more than 2 weeks in advance for this special occasion had been given away to other people. Adding insult to injury, we were then being treated as if we were the ones who had created a problem, so we left and decided to try J. Corks in an attempt to save our evening.Even though we obviously had no reservation at this restaurant, efforts to help us were made immediately when I explained the situation to a staff member. And with success - we managed to get a table right away. What followed was an absolutely delicious meal in a great setting with phenomenal service. We want to express our gratitude to the wonderful staff members of J. Corks for their understanding, cooperation, and hospitality. You truly saved our evening! We definitely know where we will go from now on to celebrate special occasions.“
“Just went to The Sequel tonight and it was EXCELLENT!!! Food was amazing but even more impressive was the Chef coming out to talk with us since both our girls have Peanut/TreeNut allergies. Explained everything to them and made them both feel at ease with what they ordered! Amazing experience and highly recommend!! We will be back!“
“My organization held a training of 27 employees in which I was put in charge of lunch selection, and I went with The Boulevard. I was quickly linked to Bobbi Lynn for my needs, and I can't begin to praise her enough!! She displayed outstanding customer service and the time/effort she put into making this one of the easiest lunch orders for staff I've ever had to do - down to letting text messages be a way of communication for us was amazing! I will certainly have my organization order from here again & I hope to work with Bobbi Lynn once more!PS - everyone and I mean the entire staff of 27, made sure they told me how specular the food, pasta, fruit and cookie were.Thank you again Bobbi Lynn.“
“This place was amazing! I would describe the food as artisanal. The combinations of ingredients, and actual preparation was superb. Seriously delicious food. The decor was cool, and there were three rooms with seat yourself tables. (At least three -- we didn't actually go into the "canal room," but I don't think there were more rooms beyond it.) The staff, and other patrons, were friendly in a comfortable way -- not artificial or creepy. We chose this place based on the great Yelp reviews, and I'm glad we did“
“Love this place! The food is always delicious. They have great menu selections and they also have a specialty menu that changes. The desserts make you think you are in heaven.Vegetarian options: They are willing to adapt the menu to your needs.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible to all.“
“I’ve never had a bad experience at Moreland’s! I specifically went there last night for the hot lobster roll! Hard to find a good one in PA but they did it!!! Loaded with buttery lobster! DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS LITTLE TREAT!!! And as always, the service and staff were excellent!“
“Made a same day reservation for dinner before a show at the Palace Theatre. Arrived at 5.30 and seated in small quaint front dining room that was quickly filling with other theatre goers. The poor waitress was running ragged as apparently 2 members of staff had called off. The lady bar tender also helped out where she could. Ordered pork sliders and the crab cakes both were excellent, especially the crab cakes though it came with a seafood risotto that was rather basic (just one large shrimp) but still tasty all the same. Love the charm, character and ambience of the place. Briefly explored the other rooms to see that there were were other dining areas, including an outdoor patio area that I would certainly consider dining alfresco on warm pleasant evenings. The eclectic artwork adorning the walls (including in the bathroom) is for sale. Kudos to our waitress (and the bar tender) for her service being so busy with other patrons. Sorry didn't know her name as we didn't ask for a copy of the check when paying by tablet as we didn't want to trouble the the staff for a printed copy of the bill. My one only slight gripe was some of the bench seating was hard and rather uncomfortable. (A little padding would go a long way!) Any way Major Stokes is now going to be my go to place when going to an occasional show or concert in Greensburg due to its close proximity to the Palace Theatre.“
“Went here for the 1st time last night. Decided to get a few apps and their wing pizza. I was absolutely delighted with everything, and would highly recommend making this your place when you need a great meal! Service and staff were also top notch!“
“Fantastic meal, amazing gluten free options and super friendly wait staff. Service was quick and friendly and the meal was wonderful. It's not easy to find good GF restaurants, especially when you're from out of town, but this was a pleasant surprise!“
“The only downside is that we were seated near the kitchen which I don't care for, but I suppose we all have to have a turn. Love this place, love the prime rib and onion rings! Have been frequenting the TD Club since my youth with my parents!!“
“Eat and drink at this Local Restaurant tonight!! Please, go somewhere you've never been.My wife and I are Hospitality Professionals from Toronto, Ontario. When travelling, we prefer to stay off the beaten path. The Headkeeper has now been added to our list of great finds. They provide a great patio bar and seating. After a friendly greeting amd options, we chose to sit inside. Our server, Sarah, was totally on point. Based on our tastes, she assisted in our selections of some 600 beers. Not a beer lover...Try a Jameson Orange cocktail, Dark n Stormy, or other ?The food was top notch. Flash Fried Calamari, Sautéed Forest Mushrooms, French Onion Crostini, and Cauliflower. Portions can work for a table of 4. Can't go wrong with this offering and five drinks for under $100!!Take the time to get to know Sarah, she may even offer her recommendations on some other cool local spots. We are now looking forward to exploring these potential gems over the next few days!!Thanks for your warm welcome and in starting us off on the right foot (or in the right cups)??“
“Visited this establishment while in the area for a concert at the Palace Theatre and it was definitely worth stopping in for their food. Their menu is well rounded for a bar/restaurant. I had the Reuben and it was one of the best I've eaten. They also have a fairly extensive drink menu with seasonal beers and cocktails. The service and ambience were well suited for the type of establishment. It was a very busy night and food arrived very timely and the wait staff were very on point. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.“
“Stopped by while visiting Greensburg and had an Italian hoagie, hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve tried. I went 30 mins after open, they only run a limited menu at that time until the cook comes in. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!“
“First time here. Nice and big inside. Plenty of seating. Cool Pittsburgh decor. Waitress was very friendly and engaging. The food was excellent! All dressings and sauces are homemade. My husband had the grilled chicken salad with the house italian dressing. My daughter had the chicken tenders with the honey mustard sauce. My son and I had the Jack Daniel's Chicken sandwich...the Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce was excellent. I used it to dip my fries. SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!! Appetizers we had the onion rings, pretzel sticks and mozerella sticks. Everything was so good. We will definitely be back.“
“Nice little bar/restaurant off the beaten path. Bar isn’t opened but they do serve alcohol. The owner was super friendly and very nice. Other waitresses very nice too. Food is homemade, made fresh daily (as far as I know). Went on a Friday about 5:30pm and it was packed. We sat on bar side which we like because it was less noisy with all the chatter in the dining area. We ordered the small fish platter. 1/2 fish sandwich, fries, coleslaw $10-11 reasonable. I also order a side of the Haluski (only make it during lent). I will say the fish was delish but the fish portion size to the 1/2 roll was rather small. The haluski was fabulous! Not what I was used to but so good! So good I overlooked the $5 side price. Again home made everything. Can’t wait to go back and try other menu items. I highly recommend trying this place.Parking: Lot is a decent size but it fills up fast at peak times and then you have to hunt for street parking.“
“We received a gift card was excited because I always wanted to try it. We were not disappointed. The food outstanding, our server whose name escapes me I think it was Kelley was so friendly and efficient. The view awesome . The owners were so friendly. I absolutely recommend everyone to stop there. It was absolutely “
“We had dinner there last night with our family. Our family style dinner included chicken and peppers, chicken parmesan, manicotti, soup, and salad. Everything was excellent and generous portions. The waitress was very attentive. We are looking forward to our next visit to LaVitas, a small, welcoming, family style restaurant where it takes you back to dinner at Grandma's. It's a hidden gem in the heart of Greensburg.“
“The service that we received from the waitress was tremendous. The food was delicious, but when you get the tails off of shrimp that is covered with Alfredo sauce and linguini, not great at all. Corporate needs to reevaluate their decision on this.“
“I’ve been a patron of Marino’s for a few years now and don’t ever have any bad to say. Bartends are great. Servers are quick, even on busy nights. And let’s just say their food is amazing.Josh knows his beer ? and always refreshes the taps. If u are looking for that “Cheers” feel, then go to Marino’s!!“
“What an exceptional place to eat! I went for breakfast and had their Haystack with Decaf Coffee. It was so delicious! The waitress, Jen, was beyond nice. We were served quickly, the food was hot, the price was great. You won't be disappointed.“
“We had really good service by Joe. The food was very good and a wonderful value. I love coffee ice cream. They did not have it. I guess I was not in upstate New York any more where coffee icecream is a standard. I would definitely return to have an inexpensive meal.“
“This bar is hilarious, when you walk in you are immediately welcomed to a cloud of cigarette smoke. The tight quarters and endless halls makes this place a nightmare for any drunken patron. The maze and fog gives this place a lot of character. Pair it with a stiff drink and loads of newly divorced women, and what you have is a night worth remembering.“
“It's a very small place, the staff is always super friendly and the seating area always looks nice and clean. Plus if you want great food, amazing prices and the ability to have a small town restaurant experience this would be the place to go.Kid-friendliness: This place is located in a small town. Kids are always welcome. They even gave my kiddo some crayons to color with to keep her entertained while our food was cooking. Everyone there spoke to my kiddo and if you're wondering they do have highchairs/ booster seats for the smaller kids.Parking: Not sure on how many parking spots but it's a Big lot. This is a place with multiple businesses though.“
“Service, food and atmosphere was outstanding. As a fellow fish keeper there 75 gallon tank equipped with a giant gourami, bala shark and tons of plecos was super clean lol ?Parking: Parking in the front just walk up the stairs, or around back for there's a decent lot that has wheelchair access“
“Wife & I were spending Thanksgiving alone so we tried out the Salt Mine's Thanksgiving takeout specials - she got the turkey and I got the prime rib. Both were outstanding! Delicious, large portions, reasonable price and courteous, professional service when we picked it up. Coupled with some great wine, our Thanksgiving dinner turned out memorable. It is so great to finally have a quality local dining establishment. Thank you Salt Mine Public House. We will definitely be back!“
“I stopped here on the way home from Ligonier, and only briefly, so I could only give it four stars. I didn't try any of the food. The bathrooms were very clean and the warrior it was nice. The menu looked pretty good, but we end up leaving quickly due to scheduling constraints. I think it would be worth checking out again. Follow for more...“
“We eat here about once a month. Service is usually very good. On 1-31-24 the service was EXCELLENT! We had a young man, Jack, as our server. He introduced himself, smiled genuinely & warmly, looked us in the eye when he spoke to us, was professional & courteous, and very attentive. It was so refreshing to have a young person exhibit these qualities. As business owners, we take notice of staff and service and appreciate it when it is exceptional. The food at Sunset is always good. Sometimes the dining room a little tight & loud but it's because they are usually busy. Outdoor area is a nice option in warmer months. I only post when I am very disappointed or exceptionally pleased. Jack was definitely worth mentioning!“
“We travel a lot. Go adventuring! Food adventurer…Speals is a keeper! Awesome brisket sandwich. Their pablano relish is spectacular. Big portions, fresh ingredients and great taste. Always give locals a chance to excel and you absolutely made it to our repeat list.“
