“Went here for a work meeting. This is actually the 2nd year. The food is AMAZING 👏! I love how many birds are on the grounds. I'm not only a bird watcher, but I actually rescue wild birds (fledglings if orphaned or injured, grown birds if injured, &waterfowl due to fishing lure&line injuries). I really appreciate you all embracing them. Well it seems like you do. We are in a middle of a worldwide bird crisis. They need all the help they can get. Plus they help with insect control. It's such a beautiful building inside as well and I love the fountain! Our waitress was doing more than one job &was still super efficient. Very on top of everything and pleasant!“

“Unbelievably Good Experience!!!!I would first like to say the management really needs to be proud of Aubrey, she’s spectacular and did a phenomenal job for Our table, she really deserves a “Job Well Done” and a round of applause from management for not just meeting, but for far exceeding expectationsThe food was spectacular, I was really worried with the 4.1 Star reviews, I would never normally visit a place with less than 4.5 which Most fast food restaurants hover around so anything above that is usually a pretty solid bar to set, But speaking of solid bars to set, This place was an unbelievably good gem for us, it was raining and we were staying next door, we just got in from Lancaster and really didn’t want to drive anywhere else, the wings were Great, the Italian Hoagie was Phenomenal, the Cheesesteak was so super rich and juicy, I Loooooooooooooooved the ranch chips, I even got an extra order to go after we were done eating because I couldn’t not have them again and ended up eating half of them between there and the hotel next door they were so good,We are both so super impressed and every single thing came to the table perfectly done, between Aubrey and the Fine work of the kitchen not one single ounce of anything was missed and we even said it was so good we could come back tomorrow and I may very well pop in for another round of chips to go before we drive back across the state because they are so unbelievably good!!!!Loved it and have every reason to believe you will too!!!!Thanks Aubrey for Being such a super Fabulous Server, We really appreciated all your Hard work and Kindess!!!! “I discovered Dean's on my first trip to Pittsburgh in 2019 and have been going back ever since! No fluff or frills just really good American favorites prepared like your family kitchen. Try the meat loaf, fish, crab cakes or the soup specials which are superb! The desserts are scratch-made and delicious!“

“My husband found this place on google, liked the pictures, and decided we were going to try it. We walked in, the server had a party of 30, and 2 other tables. She was very friendly, seated us, and gave us the everyday menu, and also the Octoberfest menu. She grabbed our drinks, and we looked over the menu. We ordered the spatzel appetizer, the smoked pork chop dinner, and the pork schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce. It was all incredible!!! The German specials were extremely hard to choose from, I would have gotten all of them! We ended the dinner with the homemade apple dumpling al a mode. OMG!!! Everything we had was fantastic!! Our server was busy, as people kept filing in, but she was courteous, prompt, and very sweet. The chefs came out and helped her with whatever she needed while they had a minute, which I thought was so nice to see. Being in the food and beverage industry, I have never personally ever had help from kitchen staff, let alone a chef. The restaurant is plain Jane on the outside, kind of in the middle of nowhere, but don't pass it up, you'll miss out on delicious experience.“
