“Let me start by saying, this deserves 6 stars. The food was fabulous, the size of the entrees was enormous, the atmosphere was wonderful and our server Kassidy was wonderful. It is not often you get both quality and quantity, but here you will. The menu is filled many unique dishes and appetizers. I included photos of the menu for review. We had the baked goat cheese appetizer which Kassidy recommended and it didn't disappoint. In fact this may be the best appetizer I have ever had. The bread was like nothing I have ever had, it was so good. Besides the wonderful entrees, I would recommend getting this appetizer even if you got nothing else. “Almost saw me and my wife's 10-year anniversary ruined due to both incompetence and rudeness at another fine dining restaurant here in Greensburg called The Venue, where the table I had reserved more than 2 weeks in advance for this special occasion had been given away to other people. Adding insult to injury, we were then being treated as if we were the ones who had created a problem, so we left and decided to try J. Corks in an attempt to save our evening.Even though we obviously had no reservation at this restaurant, efforts to help us were made immediately when I explained the situation to a staff member. And with success - we managed to get a table right away. What followed was an absolutely delicious meal in a great setting with phenomenal service.We want to express our gratitude to the wonderful staff members of J. Corks for their understanding, cooperation, and hospitality. You truly saved our evening! We definitely know where we will go from now on to celebrate special occasions.“
“Just went to The Sequel tonight and it was EXCELLENT!!! Food was amazing but even more impressive was the Chef coming out to talk with us since both our girls have Peanut/TreeNut allergies. “Made a same day reservation for dinner before a show at the Palace Theatre. Arrived at 5.30 and seated in small quaint front dining room that was quickly filling with other theatre goers. The poor waitress was running ragged as apparently 2 members of staff had called off. The lady bar tender also helped out where she could. Ordered pork sliders and the crab cakes both were excellent, especially the crab cakes though it came with a seafood risotto that was rather basic (just one large shrimp) but still tasty all the same. Love the charm, character and ambience of the place. Briefly explored the other rooms to see that there were were other dining areas, including an outdoor patio area that I would certainly consider dining alfresco on warm pleasant evenings. The eclectic artwork adorning the walls (including in the bathroom) is for sale. Kudos to our waitress (and the bar tender) for her service being so busy with other patrons. Sorry didn't know her name as we didn't ask for a copy of the check when paying by tablet as we didn't want to trouble the the staff for a printed copy of the bill. My one only slight gripe was some of the bench seating was hard and rather uncomfortable. (A little padding would go a long way!) Any way Major Stokes is now going to be my go to place when going to an occasional show or concert in Greensburg due to its close proximity to the Palace Theatre.“
“My organization held a training of 27 employees in which I was put in charge of lunch selection, and I went with The Boulevard. I was quickly linked to Bobbi Lynn for my needs, and I can't begin to praise her enough!! She displayed outstanding customer service and the time/effort she put into making this one of the easiest lunch orders for staff I've ever had to do - down to letting text messages be a way of communication for us was amazing! I will certainly have my organization order from here again & I hope to work with Bobbi Lynn once more!PS - everyone and I mean the entire staff of 27, made sure they told me how specular the food, pasta, fruit and cookie were.Thank you again Bobbi Lynn.“

“Visited this establishment while in the area for a concert at the Palace Theatre and it was definitely worth stopping in for their food. Their menu is well rounded for a bar/restaurant. I had the Reuben and it was one of the best I've eaten. They also have a fairly extensive drink menu with seasonal beers and cocktails. The service and ambience were well suited for the type of establishment. It was a very busy night and food arrived very timely and the wait staff were very on point. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.“

After a friendly greeting amd options, we chose to sit inside.Our server, Sarah, was totally on point. Based on our tastes, she assisted in our selections of some 600 beers. Not a beer lover...Try a Jameson Orange cocktail, Dark n Stormy, or other ?The food was top notch. Flash Fried Calamari, Sautéed Forest Mushrooms, French Onion Crostini, and Cauliflower. Portions can work for a table of 4. “We had dinner there last night with our family. Our family style dinner included chicken and peppers, chicken parmesan, manicotti, soup, and salad. Everything was excellent and generous portions. The waitress was very attentive. We are looking forward to our next visit to LaVitas, a small, welcoming, family style restaurant where it takes you back to dinner at Grandma's. “Always very nice employees at this location. I did ask for no pink, and as usual, it had pink. This seems to be a company wide issue. I was told they cook the burgers based upon a timer, but maybe they need to adjust it a little longer or turn up the temp. I was very hungry and just ate it, and it did taste good. Next time, I will ask for well done. I do wish they still had the jalapeños coins as an app, we always ordered them. Overall, it's still very good.“

“This bar is hilarious, when you walk in you are immediately welcomed to a cloud of cigarette smoke. The tight quarters and endless halls makes this place a nightmare for any drunken patron. “We eat here about once a month. Service is usually very good. On 1-31-24 the service was EXCELLENT! We had a young man, Jack, as our server. He introduced himself, smiled genuinely & warmly, looked us in the eye when he spoke to us, was professional & courteous, and very attentive. It was so refreshing to have a young person exhibit these qualities. As business owners, we take notice of staff and service and appreciate it when it is exceptional. The food at Sunset is always good. Sometimes the dining room a little tight & loud but it's because they are usually busy. Outdoor area is a nice option in warmer months. I only post when I am very disappointed or exceptionally pleased. Jack was definitely worth mentioning!“

I absolutely love when they pay attention that I order coffee with my dinner which means I like it kept full & hot the entire time, she was spot on!! The dining area is decorated with animals, farmhouse signs, and quotes on the walls, which keep the customers engaged as well as the greeting when you walk through the door. The staff is attentive and friendly as well as efficient. The orders are cooked as ordered, fresh hot and delicious, but beware, the portions are not small! Come hungry or share a plate but take the time to eat at the South Greensburg Restaurant. That alone should be a great experience, but watching her interact with her customers lifts your day to so many other levels! By far my fave staff member! But.... also.... The management team, hostesses and hosts, servers, kitchen staff, and all of the crew really make you feel like you walked into a place that you frequent in your home town!
