“Very attractive restaurant in the upper story of what appears to be a converted house. A bar is in the lower floor.

Clean, minimalist “country” decor, attentive wait staff, and a reasonably varied menu at better price points than lesser establishments in the area. Order a simple meal of a side salad and their open faced roast beef sandwich. Very generous portion of profoundly tender slices of pot roast, topped with some French fries, onion ring garnish, and a well flavored gravy. Would return. A dining oasis in what otherwise seems mostly a culinary desert in the greater Latrobe area.“

“I have been going there for 30 plus years & most recently today for lunch. The food was a bit above average & the service in the bar area with Zackie was much less than to be expected for a restaurant of this caliber. Not sure if she hasn't been trained properly or just not cut out to be a server. As anyone that is a "Foodie" would know, great service can compensate for many short comings. The chicken piccata was amazing—so tender and flavorful. The pasta and meatballs were also a huge hit with our guests. Everything was prepared beautifully and arrived fresh and hot, making hosting so much easier. La Vita’s truly helped elevate the whole event with their delicious food. Highly recommend them for any catered occasion, or dining in —you won’t be disappointed!“

“We try to go to Slice House AT LEAST once a week. My husband doesn't want to move in the future because of Slice House. I am a thin crust lover & their NY style is the best I've ever had. Quality ingredients make all the difference & the service is always friendly. Even if I like to torture Josh from time to time with all my neediness. “We just had my daughter’s wedding shower here and everything was absolutely perfect from the room and table set up, the food, the mimosa bar and the friendly staff. The guests had a choice of stuffed ricotta shells with meatballs or chicken parmesan and both dishes were delicious! Claps to the chef. They also offer gluten free, vegan and child meals. The venue is reasonably priced, spacious, clean and in a convenient location with plenty of parking. A big thank you to the owners and staff for their hard work and assistance in making my daughter’s wedding shower a very special and elegant event.“

“I usually always have the delivery guy named Sal one of the most nicest delivery drivers I have ever met well-mannered very polite makes sure that I have everything before he leaves just such a sweet soul and I look forward to ordering food knowing he'll be delivering it finding good people to work for your company with integrity and so much more is hard to find he is definitely a keeper and I absolutely love their food one of my favorite places to order from!!“
