“Was visiting with our son and headed here for lunch today. Did not disappoint. Service was excellent, food was excellent, very simple salad but delicious. Extremely pleasant, friendly staff- fairly certain they were the owners. Had leftovers to bring home for later. Looking forward to our next meal to to see what is new on the menu. I had the basil gnocchi.“

“Welcoming, and warm greeting,my sandwich was delicious,it was a turkey club on grilled sourdough bread,I had it with onion rings instead of fries, very good, I highly recommend Fontana's,for lunch and dinner, I sat at the counter,and was served right away, Sandy was the bartender, love her!!

“Pros: the food is solid! I learned today that depending on who the chef is the calzone sizes are bigger. Not saying they’re not big already. They taste great. I accidentally got bacon pizza and pork calzone. I recommend mixing up the meats ?.

Cons: nothing I can think of at the moment. Lol. I got ID’d. I look 40. I know they wipe down their high chairs but they didn’t get to the one I pulled out.“

“Great blackened salmon BLT, hubby got the steak calzone and enjoyed it. We both had the Crisp Amber beer (nice, light amber) and got a 6-pack of Corona to go. Atmosphere wasn't much, not sure why the stock market took precedent over other TV stations, but maybe it is a things in PA😜. Service was good overall. When we first got there, only one other person in the bar area, but it was a Monday at 4 that we arrived. By the time we left 90 min later it was filling up. Definitely would come back again if ever in the area!!“

“My wife and I ate here while we were visiting Pittsburgh and the food is absolutely delicious. My wife got the lasagna while I got the chicken parm and both dishes were absolutely spectacular. My wife is still raving about the lasagna, saying it's the best she's ever had. “Excellent food and service, have to plan ahead to dine inside due to the space limitations at peak dinner time. Atmosphere is relaxed, but at peak times/ they still offer excellent take out service . The meat balls are amazing!, both traditional and sicilian pizza were equally great. Can't wait to try a specialty pizza, and sandwich options which have a taste for everyone. A definite must try!“

“Arrived for an early dinner and shown to our seats. I already knew that I wanted the white pizza with a side salad. My guest ordered the gnocchi, which comes with a meatball, salad and bread. He also ordered beer with his meal.
Our waitress, Kim was pleasant and attentive.
By the time our entrees arrived the restaurant was getting busy. There were also a number of take out orders made ready.

Kid-friendliness: This is a family owned and operated restaurant that is definitely kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: Only a few designated handicap parking spaces but a ramp for access to restaurant. Enough space between tables to navigate.“

“We were passing through New Stanton, and had dinner at La Tavola. We sat at the bar, and had incredible service from Sandy, the bartender. The food was incredible. We had the artichoke appetizer, a Caesar salad, and the Veal Picatta and the special, which was a Swordfish with lump crabmeat. Also, the Crème Brûlée. All was incredible, and Chef Lou came out and chatted with us. A very special gem of a restaurant, which we would highly recommend!!“

“We had Shelly Pie for the first time in September while we were staying at the comfort inn for a pool tournament. Had it delivered and it was AMAZING. Fast forward to yesterday. We drove an hour to take our daughter to have your pizza. We got a small Buffalo Chicken which was delicious, piping hot, and had an great cheese pull. Our second pie (Med pepperoni w/ half sausage half bacon) did not come out with our first. It took at least 20 minutes for the second one to arrive and once it did it was easy to see why. Not only had the pie been left to die in the window, but what we were given was a half sausage, half bacon pie with a stick of pepperoni piled on top after it was already cooked. Needless to say, the second one was bad and to say disappointing is an understatement. Our server was very nice, but busy setting up and preparing for a party of 20 that came in towards the end of our visit so we didn't try to track her down about the bad pie.“

“Penn Murry catered for my husband’s birthday party and it was fantastic!!! The food was beyond amazing!! All of my guests loved the food!!! They all wanted to know which catering company I used. Their Italian tomato sauce is out of this world! It reminds me so much of grandmother’s cooking and my childhood home in Brooklyn!! The owners are so nice! Without a doubt, I highly recommend Penn Murry! Five star rating!!“

“I’ve ordered from here twice now. The pizza really is excellent and the grinder was also spectacular. My only complaint was that I ordered extra sauce on the pizza both times. First time they gave me extra sauce on the side so the second time I specified on the pizza. Pretty sure I still got the normal sauce amount. I’m a super saucy person so maybe next time I’ll have to elaborate and ask them not to be afraid to put too much sauce on the pizza. If I would have gotten the extra sauce it would be a 5/5. Until I get my extra sauce it will be a 4/5. Will definitely try one more time.“
