“I’ve been to many Olive Gardens around the country over the last 25 years. This place really has it together. The time of the service to food was ridiculously fast. Our Waiter Rhys helped to bring us back to the memory of customer service of the Golden Age. He is one serious class act. Best waiter I’ve had in so many years. He also let our 9 year autistic daughter do the cheese over the salad. Just the best experience we’ve had since we’ve been to Pittsburgh. Thank you John the Manager and Rhys.“

“The Market in Verona is so awesome. It is so great to go in and get good quality food that you can reheat at home. I recently got the Eggplant Parmesan, pasta and risotto balls. Everything was so delicious and enough for another dinner. My husband got the Chicken Parmesan and really enjoyed it also. The service at the Market is outstanding and it was so nice to also meet Andrew the owner. I am looking forward to coming back again and getting more of this high quality and delicious Italian Food that reminded me so much of what my Mommy used to make. I highly recommend them.“

“I am so glad my husband and I found Yoli's. We went there for the 2nd time tonight and every single thing we got was phenomenal just like the 1st time! From their salads, to the bread and oil, to their Yoli Rolis, to the stuffed shells, to the Grandma Bevy, the food is just unbelievable. I got the crab cake tonight and I have to say, it was one of the best I've ever had, and I've had them in Maryland! We got the canookie for dessert and it was bigger than our heads but unbelievably amazing. Plus everything is SUPER reasonably priced! On top of everything else, the staff is extremely friendly! “It was to be a special occasion, my brother's and my birthday celebration. I searched hard for a deep-dish pizza in the area and drove from Monessen. The pizza we had today wasn't Deep dish as advertised; it was high-rise or thick crust. I wrote on the Facebook page's messenger and told them we will be there at what time and on what day for Deep-dish pizza. I was told they still have it. Are waiter never told us that their Deep Dish is a thick-crust pizza? The pizza was good; we didn't ask for a refund. We hope the restaurant will reword its pizza menu. It's just misleading me, and my brother would have gotten something different if it wasn't for Deep Dish. Besides that, the restaurant is amazing. I heard it was my first time there.“

“My husband and I have been going to the Village Inn for many years now. Everything we have eaten there has been so delicious from sandwiches to great Italian Food . My favorite is the stuffed crabmeat mushroom appetizer, bruschetta and Chicken Romano. The meatballs and pasta are so good. My favorite dessert is the Tiramisu. I highly recommend the Verona Village Inn.“

“First time dining at Ranucci's and it will not be the last. We were greeted by the owner upon arriving. Very friendly and very inviting. Our waiter was also very friendly and ver attentive. The food portions were very big and absolutely delicious. We started with a beet salad and it was so good. I had the CC's veal with crab cakes and my friend had the Sunday gravy. Both dishes were delicious and the red sauce on the Sunday gravy was out of this world. We had a tiramisu for dessert and again, it was outstanding. For a nice evening out, give them a try.“

“When brunch plans with a good friend fell through, she suggested Ladles, a restaurant enjoyed by her family members. The vibe is very old school, with dark wood paneling, tables and booths. Light in the dining room comes largely through a cluster of windows at ceiling level. But once you get over the dim setting, you'll find an inventive menu with an attentive staff. There are affordable lunch and specials, mostly under $15 with a focus on Italian food.
The sandwiches are creative and fall in the $10-$20 dollar range. When you move into the entrees expect an additional $10 charge for many of the items. There is an emphasis on lobster and Italian dishes.
The name Ladles comes from the multitude of fresh soups offered daily. I chose the wedding soup; it probably was the best I've ever had, creatively seasoned with fresh greens and homemade mini meatballs.
I got an entree which was built around a delicious homemade crab cake with so much lump crab it was almost overwhelming. My companion went with a chicken in lemon sauce, which was fantastic. My only reservation was the decision to serve these items a mound of mashed potatoes. The option of rice or pasta would have been welcomed.
I plan on returning and have already recommended the restaurant to friends.“

“My son and I had dinner for Mother’s Day. Our first experience at this restaurant. Aside from a small miscommunication where the side dishes were delivered to the table alongside the apps, everything was very good. They corrected the sides and delivered fresh with the entrees, the sides were easily large enough to share amongst three or four people and the food was very good. The app, sides and entrees, as well as the gluten free chocolate cake were all delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return.“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“We had a great experience at PGH EATZ today. We ordered ribs, loaded baked potato, and the homemade coleslaw, and everything was delicious! The ribs were very meaty and the Cole slaw tasted very fresh! The kids loved their chicken fingers and french fries too. “Service was excellent. Top notch. What I didn't understand was why we were sat next to the window with fake bushes blocking our view of the rest of the restaurant. The place was empty. Every single table inside the rows of hedges was unoccupied when we got there. Maybe 2 or 3 tables were sat during our dinner but I truly didn't understand seating us in the corner, right next to the door, blocked by this greenery. It just felt weird. Also the olive oil cake was terrible. Dry, salty. Not good at all. The rest was good. We got 4 dishes and shared them. Maybe ordered 4 drinks. Bill was $250. Not terrible but also not big portions cause they were all shareable small plates. Like there were 4 of us, we got the scallop special, and they gave us 3 scallops. Just give us a 4th scallop so we each get one! If you wanna upcharge for it fine, but like why give 3 scallops to a table of 4 when they know we're sharing everyhing. We made that clear. And yeah that cake sucked. Don't get it. I don't need to go back here. Mostly cause I dislike supporting DeSchantz. So take that as you will.“

“It's like being at your favorite dinner table with family and friends! With our beautiful Italian family gathering around the bar area in numbers of about 15 Friday night, we had a blast! Yes, Joe is our cousin and that is definitely warm and wonderful but Louise, Joe's matriarch, was there too which made it extra special. Lulu, chef, Delaney, "Ms. Brown", Linda and all staff were amazing and fun. So the food, sauteed arthichoke hearts, pasta fagioli, wedding soup, Chicken Romano, Veal Romano, beverage list unsurpassed and our usual standards and oh the red velvet cheesecake was picture and taste perfect. All food made to order fresh and it definitely shows the attention to every morsel we enjoyed. Oh, the bread is made locally and it's the best. We were almost the last to leave and we have all the photos to show our fun time. Can't wait to go back for their Sunday sauce. Salute and see you soon.
