Although the food, service and atmosphere were excellent, the prices have gone up. Before you could order a dinner that included soup or salad. However, now it is ala carte. We had veal parmigiana and there was very little sauce.
Absolutely amazing food & experience. Such a cute little place! The margarita pizza& gnocchi were so so delicious!! Highly recommend!
Food was great no complaints, also very friendly staff. My biggest issue was how cold it was in there, had to wear a light jacket to feel comfortable. All that said I highly recommend this place if you're looking for good italian cuisine!

Michael A's Italian offers an excellent dining experience with amazing food and outstanding service. The staff is super friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is pleasant, comfortable, and lovely but not intrusive. The food is absolutely delicious, approachable, and tasty with ample portions. Popular menu items include the Pesto Fusilli (with rigatoni and grilled chicken), Eggplant Parmesan with a pesto gremolata, Shrimp Bisque which is velvety and creamy, Wood Fired Meatballs, Fried Zucchini, Wedding Soup, Classic Pasta with Michael A's Classic Alfredo, and 'Nduja Rigatoni. The wood-fired pizza is excellent, with options like Fungi and Neopolitan pizzas, though the sauce on the neopolitan can be a little watery. For dessert, the Spumoni Sundae is a fun Italian tin roof sundae. The house bread and shrimp bisque are great starters. Michael A's is considered the best Italian food in Oakmont, with everything from wine to salads, pasta to pizza being excellent. Guests keep trying new food on the menu and have yet to find something they don't like. Many immediately plan on coming back for more, and the restaurant is highly recommended for any visit.
