“Stopped in for breakfast about 11:30 AM.A pleasant waitress said breakfast is not served after 11:00 AM.A little disappointing but the light lunch I ordered was good.Kelly's diner in Saxonburg serves breakfast all day, but they are closed on Tuesday.“

We couldn't decide about cake options so Chef offered two custom cakes, which should be added to the menu. Absolutely amazing, and the food was just delicious! Service is stellar! “Lovely little family owned icecream shop with a food menu. They have the best fresh burgers, a variety of hard serve and some soft serve.They have a outside covered seating area and a small little outside play area for kids.Even when the line is to the road, they do a great job at keeping up with the demand.Highly recommend! Only downfall is that they close for the winter! I could eat their burgers all year round.“

“I had breakfast there, it's a family style place with good food, They sign on the door says they open at 6am and close at 2 pm most days. It was slow when I was there and my breakfast was served quickly and by friendly staff. Just a good old fashion dinner. Where you go sir down and have a good homestyle meal. And catch up with old friends. Also are having a benift dinner ( Ithink spaghetti) For a 4 year old who needs a diabetic service dog. 10.00 a plate I think in within the next 2 months of today 2/23/24.“

“We stopped for dinner 430ish on a Friday, the place was very clean and friendly. The menu was a specialized menu with a bunch of customer recommended #1s, it was very hard to choose what meals we would be selecting off the menu due to the whole menu was packed with excellent dinner choices. I settled for the Meatloaf special off the house special board (Amazing), and my wife chose the Chicken Picata (Amazing), these are two of most recommended dinner choices by the house and a few friends of ours. We both ordered the House Merlot with dinner which was a good choice on our part (perfect) along with the wine the house places a large flip top bottle of ice cold water on your table for you to drink at your will. Paired with our meals were a side of mashed potatoes and cooked carrots with a side salad (all were perfect). If all of this amazing meal wasn't enough, we had to order the Zattola homemade ice cream over the house made brownie for dessert... everything was way to good to not finish... We left this place absolutely stuffed, and pleasantly pleased with our experience... one side note I would have to say if you chose to go there, please have a conversation with your servers and staff, we spoke to an older gentlemen who I still don't believe he is in his 70s, he was one the most kind, and personable staff I've ever encountered at a restaurant, he made us feel like family and like he knew us for ever, he stated how the food is prepared and the history of the recipes, you could tell he absolutely loves this place along with the owners and he firmly believes in the quality this place provides. The food was definitely enough for us to go back, but just having the small interactions with the gentleman makes me feel that we will absolutely go back... Im sure anyone who has been to this place and has interacted with this gentlemen could probably attest to what I'm saying, as he spoke to everyone... the world needs more people like him in it!!! “Fantastic hidden gem on route 8. Great food and drinks. Reasonably price and large portions. The owners are fantastic and friendly. Bring your appetite! My buddy had the wings and they were crispy and delicious. I went with the Wamo burger pictured and it was delicious . Proud to say I finished it. Included fresh cut fries. Saw some other food coming out to other tables and can't wait to go back to try more!“

“My wife and I were in Butler, PA visiting my wife's Mom and family. My wife's Mom suggested we go to the Monroe Hotel Restaurant and Lounge for lunch. I got the club sandwich with chips! Yum! ? Great food, courteous server and great atmosphere. If ever in the area, this is certainly a place to consider for a meal! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“We were coming through and needed a lunch spot, saw Rachel's Roadhouse and went inside.Their wait time was great, not too hectic, not too slow, just perfect.The food was amazing. Just the right amount of seasoning on the Cajun Pasta (added chicken was absolutely perfect).The amount of food is double a big chain restaurant and is to die for. We all got left overs for later, all for a decent price too!Overall best place we could have picked.“

“Having heard great things about Just in Thyme catering from friends of mine, we hired them for the first time in December to cater our Christmas party (>30 people). The food and service were OUTSTANDING.Justin worked with me prior to the event to create a menu. He adjusted it two or three times to help us build a great event within our budget. He was easy to work with and very accommodating.I am not new to hosting parties, I already had the chaffer stands and warming candles ready to go. He arrived on time, brought everything up two flights of stairs, and finished setting up the buffet table. He let me borrow anything that we needed (e.g. 30 extra steak knives). The food presentation looked great. I wish I had taken a photo, but it was so hectic that I did not think about it until everyone had already ate.And of course, the most important part: the food was delicious. Everyone, even my in-laws, raved about how great it was and that they were happy we had it catered this year.I will exclusively hire Just in Thyme to cater all of our events from now on. You will not be disappointed !“

“Went with my Aunt after a movie on Sunday around 4:00. Service was great! The food was delicious. The portions are generous. I had a Reuben and fries. My Aunt had a hot roast beef with gravy and fries. Both were served in a timely manner. Everything hot and wonderful.“

“The County Line is the quintessential country bar. Renovated some years ago, they offer the best of both casual dining and spacious, friendly bar to belly up to. Come for wings on Tuesday, DJ Trivia with Amber on Wednesday on on one of the weekend events. Ten times out of ten, you will have a good time. Enjoy! Careful though, the food is exceptionally good.“

“The food is really good!!! We arrived on a meatball Monday and the beefy meatballs were rich moist and tender. The tomato sauce they served with-savory, neither too sweet or too salty, but rather just a perfect consistency and not overcooked...it had freshness to it. I wasn't even starving or anything. Just incredible awareness of what makes an excellent meatball and marinara sauce. The service was wonderful,friendly, attentive. They were so many items on the menu. The fries were served skin on and what I would call thin cut. The earthy flavors of the potato was preserved and the frying oil was very fresh resulting in a fry that rewarded you with that lingering crisp potatoe skin finish with no greasiness. These people clearly have a reputation to uphold. We had dessert, which I normally don't but again- someone in that kitchen cares alot about flavor and has a discriminate palette. Pecan Cream Pie. Didn't know what to think. It looked fluffy when it arrived, some kind of cream, pecan chunk mash-perhaps suspended together with agar or a gelatin.....I really liked it. Pies of this type can ofteb be cloying or overly sweet. Really superb way to finish off a meal. So impressive, the flavors were so good and I absolutely was not expecting this at all. Definitely stop and eat at this place.Parking: Real easy to pull on in.“

“We order from here at least once a week. Their food is always fresh and full of flavor. If you’re a fry fanatic like me then you’ll appreciate their fresh cut fries. They have a great house salad as well. Always super fresh vegetables and good mix of lettuce. Food is always ready when they say it will be too!“

“The Crossbow is a great atmosphere to have some food, some drinks, and relax. The bartenders are all very friendly and prompt. The owners put their money into the business to better accommodate the customers. Brand new bathrooms in the bar side, and new renovations were done to the bowling side as well. Prices for food and drink are great! It’s a drama free establishment, and I highly recommend it to anyone!“

“We used the outdoor patio for a pre wedding happy hour. Nice area with its own service window. Seemed difficult for the food runners to know where to drop food as they entered and simply yelled out the food they were carrying hoping the person who ordered it could hear them.Clearing out our tabs was the main problem. Since we were a wedding there were multiple families with the same last names.Bathroom was kept up nice.“

“Casual, local bar/brewpub. Atmosphere was okay. Our waitress was nice but not very warm and welcoming. She rushed us to order.Seating is nice and it was pretty clean but the tables were sticky. Not recent stickiness but a buildup, I guess. With certain tabletops that is hard to avoid and I get that but I didn't like it.Menu is nice with elevated bar food. We tried the onion ring appetizer. The beer batter was very tasty. I ordered the General Butler chicken sandwich and received the Ragin' Cajun chicken sandwich. It was of good quality but I didn't care for the flavor profile, which is why I didn't order it to begin with. I upgraded my fries to chili cheese fries with there praised house made chili. The chili was mediocre. It didn't taste very refined. The beer cheese sauce was very good. I didn't care for their fries. They were truffle fries and they just weren't good. On a side note, my dining companion ordered a well done mushroom cheeseburger and she said it was delicious and cooked perfectly. I would maybe give Butler Brew Works another try but I'm not in a rush to.“

“Dinning at The Grill was absolutely amazing! There’s a wide variety of dishes on the menu, and each dish that we had received was well presented and tasted amazing!!Staff is very friendly, and it is a welcoming, clean environment!They change up the drink menu and course menu every couple months to make sure you can try different things.They also have Trivia every Tuesday night at 7 which is a good turn out and super fun! The whole restaurant gets involved while dinning!Fridays they have live music with different specials and it is so nice to dine while listening to live music!I 100% recommend dining at river first!They have a golf simulator too for you to check out, super cool!“

“We've been going here for years. A few takeaways:Would love to see establishment be in a larger place. Many times we have to go somewhere else when no seating is available. The interior could use a bit of a refresh, it's dark. Most folks that I have brought here and myself think the high top tables are toooo high. They are not at a comfortable arm height. The menu could use a refresh. It has been the same for years. Some healthier options would be nice for summer. We do patronize here often, hubby likes the wing night! Prices are somewhat reasonable. Food is always pretty good. Nice local establishment.“

“My husband and I stopped around 7:00 pm on Saturday evening. It was busy but the service was excellent. Our food order was taken quickly and our order was quick.i thought with all the people it would take a lot longer. I had the Ruben and my husband had the fish sandwich. Both were hot and delicious. I would recommend the food to everyone. I was disappointed I was not made aware of the convenience fee until I paid the bill. If cash was better I would’ve paid in cash if I was made aware of this policy. I also had the Cinterlands Porter. Excellent draft. But did not expect to pay $7 a draft. Wish I would’ve known the price before. It was my fault for not checking before I ordered 2 of them. But still a remarkable dinner.“

“Clean, independent hoagie shop. It was my first time here and I had the Chicken Bacon ranch hoagie. Very tasty hoagie albeit a bit messy. But to be expected with the ranch sauce. I took it to go and made the mistake of not grabbing napkins. Hoagie was a bit too soft and could have used a few minutes in an oven. I would definitely try again when in the area“

“Was driving along 28 and decided to have dinner here. We were blown away by how good everything was! The pot roast was super tender, cooked to the perfect level of medium rare. The Alfredo chicken was the definition of fresh. The Alfredo was made solely for my meal and the chicken was freshly shaved of a chicken breast. This meat was never frozen.The salads had dressing made at the restaurant, the bread came with their own blend of butter, even the tea was freshly brewed on site.The only downside is it's B.Y.O.B, no liquor license. This is a positive note though because now I will simply know to bring a bottle of wine on my next visit.Thank you all!“

“When I walked in, it reminded me of an old smokey bar. I don't believe smoking is allowed now. It is still kind of dim inside giving that old vibe. I ordered a fish sandwich and fries. Both items were delicious and cooked to perfection. I don't know about other items, but recommend the fish.“

“We have been coming here for awhile, but since the new owner took over- the food and service has been mostly unbelievable, and it has been our new favorite go-to. I have never seen a more attentive ownership / management crew- cleaning tables / etc. The prime rib has been above phenomenal our last few visits. Our waitress Pilar tonight offered exceptional service! Highly recommended.“

“Butler Hot Dog Shoppe is a quaint little side shop with an old style feel.The staff were all friendly and helpful, food was served hot and fast, and tasted great!Don't expect anything ritzy here, it's a down home, small town roadside place with great food and great prices.“

“The servers here are great. Both ladies that took care of us were very friendly and made great suggestions. The food is great and they have a huge selection. Highly recommend. One thing to note is the steep stairs you have to climb to get to the main entrance. This may be difficult for a handicap person.“

“I tried the fish sandwich here because a friend suggested it. It was big and was less expensive than the competition here in Butler. This is a real fish sandwich. Not a frozen, processed fish patty but a real fillet. You can tell it was fried in clean oil unlike others I have tried.The dining area is small but I'd rather eat this kind of food at home anyway.This isn't a fast food joint, so unless you're getting hot dogs don't expect to be in and out of here quickly. Calling ahead would probably be a good idea.“

The area is not large enough, so there is a lot of bumping into, being banged with baby carriers, elbows bumping, and knocking take home food out of your hands. And it's only Tuesday!
