“Lovely little family owned icecream shop with a food menu. They have the best fresh burgers, a variety of hard serve and some soft serve. They have a outside covered seating area and a small little outside play area for kids.Even when the line is to the road, they do a great job at keeping up with the demand.Highly recommend! Only downfall is that they close for the winter! I could eat their burgers all year round.“
“I had breakfast there, it's a family style place with good food, They sign on the door says they open at 6am and close at 2 pm most days. It was slow when I was there and my breakfast was served quickly and by friendly staff. Just a good old fashion dinner. Where you go sir down and have a good homestyle meal. And catch up with old friends. Also are having a benift dinner ( Ithink spaghetti) For a 4 year old who needs a diabetic service dog. 10.00 a plate I think in within the next 2 months of today 2/23/24.“
“We were coming through and needed a lunch spot, saw Rachel's Roadhouse and went inside.Their wait time was great, not too hectic, not too slow, just perfect. The food was amazing. Just the right amount of seasoning on the Cajun Pasta (added chicken was absolutely perfect). The amount of food is double a big chain restaurant and is to die for. We all got left overs for later, all for a decent price too!Overall best place we could have picked.“
“My wife and I were in Butler, PA visiting my wife's Mom and family. My wife's Mom suggested we go to the Monroe Hotel Restaurant and Lounge for lunch. I got the club sandwich with chips! Yum! ? Great food, courteous server and great atmosphere. If ever in the area, this is certainly a place to consider for a meal! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Seeking refuge from the chill, we decided to explore Butler Brew Works. It was a surprise that this was our first visit, and we were eager to experience it. The brewery's tagline, "Adventurous Ales," accurately describes their offerings. With a broad array of choices and a welcoming staff, we were enthusiastic to try several beer flights. However, a minor drawback was that the first five items we selected (including food) were unavailable, despite being listed on easily updatable menu pages and the chalkboard. The bustling Main Street location adds to its appeal, making it a recommendable spot in both cooler and warmer months.“
“We order from here at least once a week. Their food is always fresh and full of flavor. If you’re a fry fanatic like me then you’ll appreciate their fresh cut fries. They have a great house salad as well. Always super fresh vegetables and good mix of lettuce. Food is always ready when they say it will be too!“
“The food is really good!!! We arrived on a meatball Monday and the beefy meatballs were rich moist and tender. The tomato sauce they served with-savory, neither too sweet or too salty, but rather just a perfect consistency and not overcooked...it had freshness to it. I wasn't even starving or anything. Just incredible awareness of what makes an excellent meatball and marinara sauce. The service was wonderful, friendly, attentive. They were so many items on the menu. The fries were served skin on and what I would call thin cut. The earthy flavors of the potato was preserved and the frying oil was very fresh resulting in a fry that rewarded you with that lingering crisp potatoe skin finish with no greasiness. These people clearly have a reputation to uphold. We had dessert, which I normally don't but again- someone in that kitchen cares alot about flavor and has a discriminate palette. Pecan Cream Pie. Didn't know what to think. It looked fluffy when it arrived, some kind of cream, pecan chunk mash-perhaps suspended together with agar or a gelatin.....I really liked it. Pies of this type can ofteb be cloying or overly sweet. Really superb way to finish off a meal. So impressive, the flavors were so good and I absolutely was not expecting this at all. Definitely stop and eat at this place.Parking: Real easy to pull on in.“
“We used the outdoor patio for a pre wedding happy hour. Nice area with its own service window. Seemed difficult for the food runners to know where to drop food as they entered and simply yelled out the food they were carrying hoping the person who ordered it could hear them.Clearing out our tabs was the main problem. Since we were a wedding there were multiple families with the same last names.Bathroom was kept up nice.“
“When I walked in, it reminded me of an old smokey bar. I don't believe smoking is allowed now. It is still kind of dim inside giving that old vibe. I ordered a fish sandwich and fries. Both items were delicious and cooked to perfection. I don't know about other items, but recommend the fish.“
“Stopped in for first time today. Phenomenal food!!! Super great price! I will be coming back for more. There's a reason why they have been in business since tue 50s. Order whole steak hoagie. Pulled pork cheese fries and a soda. All for 18 bucks. Yes please and thank you“
“Clean, independent hoagie shop. It was my first time here and I had the Chicken Bacon ranch hoagie. Very tasty hoagie albeit a bit messy. But to be expected with the ranch sauce. I took it to go and made the mistake of not grabbing napkins. Hoagie was a bit too soft and could have used a few minutes in an oven. I would definitely try again when in the area“
“Saw this place a couple of times passing by, decided to stop through. I would highly recommend anyone who enjoys a good pizza to swing through. Handmade/prepared sauce and dough and fresh ingredients, made with passion. Staff are very warm and welcoming and the energy in the place carries the old nostalgic feeling of 80ies style pizza parlor.“
“The salad bar was excellent. Fresh lettuce and a separate bowl of specialty lettuce was available. Green and black olives, chick peas, green peppers, and many other items to add to your salad. The soup selection varies day to day.The chile is excellent. The waitress was very pleasant and took good care of us.The decaf coffee was fresh.Stop in, you won't be disappointed.“
“Butler Hot Dog Shoppe is a quaint little side shop with an old style feel. The staff were all friendly and helpful, food was served hot and fast, and tasted great!Don't expect anything ritzy here, it's a down home, small town roadside place with great food and great prices.“
“The atmosphere is strictly food oriented ... not a romantic spot but the food is delicious. Service times can vary, but even during the Covid BS, it wasn't bad, not like many other places. The El Diablo is AWESOME - just hot and spicy enough without ruining your taste buds.“
“I tried the fish sandwich here because a friend suggested it. It was big and was less expensive than the competition here in Butler. This is a real fish sandwich. Not a frozen, processed fish patty but a real fillet. You can tell it was fried in clean oil unlike others I have tried. The dining area is small but I'd rather eat this kind of food at home anyway. This isn't a fast food joint, so unless you're getting hot dogs don't expect to be in and out of here quickly. Calling ahead would probably be a good idea.“
“Nice place and good menu. Everything is cooked fresh. Many items to choose from like pancakes, waffles, omelets, eggs cook your way, bacon, sausage, hash brown, home fries, etc. also many breakfast and lunch sandwiches, fries etc. Dine in or take out orders. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. There is handicap parking, access and seating. Restrooms are very clean and orderly.Parking: Parking in front and on the left side of the building.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and booster seats.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking, access and seating“
“The only issue was the crowd inside the front door. All waiting for seating. The area is not large enough, so there is a lot of bumping into, being banged with baby carriers, elbows bumping, and knocking take home food out of your hands. And it's only Tuesday! Imagine it's worse Thur, Friday and Saturdays.“
“The food was very good but an hour wait for a few burgers in an uncrowded restaurant was ridiculous and the ladies room was deplorable with a missing door no toilet paper and a broken lock on the door that was there. The waitress was new and it showed but bless her heart she gave it her all and was very “
“Food was as expected, which is what I'm looking for in chain restaurants. Server paid attention to my partner's special requests which are numerous and not hard, but are frequently ignored. Lights are really bright, for some reason.“
“I stopped coming here a few years ago when the service and food had gone down hill. I gave it another try and was pleasantly surprised. The service was very good. The remodeling was great. The quality of food and selection have all improved.“
“It took a while to get a table but was worth the wait. This is a hidden gem in Butler. They have burgers, sandwiches, entrees, awesome appetizers and desserts. Their nachos for an appetizer were amazing. The ossobuco was amazing. The meat was fall off the bone tender.Parking: There is a lot of parking, but you may have to walkWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is easy to enter, and they do have tables which can accommodate a wheelchair.“
