“The Hype DJ Duo had the absolute pleasure of DJing a wedding at the Glen Eden Barn! We can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful and well-managed venues we have ever worked at to date. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless — the staff was incredibly welcoming, organized, and attentive, making setup and logistics a breeze. The space itself is stunning! The barn has such a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for both the ceremony and the reception. Not to mention, the absolute stunning view!!! “The Eat 'n Park on Perry Highway, Mars is a very comfortable restaurant in which to eat. The food is always well prepared and I have never experienced anything but excellent service. My friend and I meet there about once a month for breakfast. This past Wednesday 2-4-26, we had Tamara for our waitress. Not our first time with her. Absolutely outstanding! She took our order, served it, checked on us often, and kept our coffee cups filled - all very efficiently, and with a smile on her face. We always leave feeling good about our visit, and look forward to our next time, thanks to the overall great experience.“

“Update. New GM reached out and made things right and was very good addressing the situation. I will take this as a mulligan and try this establishment again and hope for a better experience.

Had dinner with the family. Food was good. I didn’t knock service for our server but mainly for management. Ordered Salmon which says it comes with any 2 sides. $26 on the menu, charged $32. My kid got the fish sandwich which was $22(already too much) was charged $26. He substituted fries for a single potato pancake. No mention of up charge for this and my meal comes with 2 sides. Was not subbing anything out and nothing says premium sides on the menu. Called out the price difference to the waiter who was very nice but you can tell on his face that he didn’t want to ask the manager tonight because the manager won’t do anything. That is exactly what the manager did. He sent the poor server up by himself to make up a reason for the extra charge. Poor management for not training the servers on the up charge. Poor management for not addressing the customer face to face for an issue. An easy explanation or apologies for the was confusion and making the price right would have had me coming back. I will spend my $140 for 3 meals, 1 beer, and a kids meal somewhere else. Too many choices to deal with a bad manager that doesn’t respect his staff or paying customers.“

Husband's burger was delicious. Shoestring fries were ok. My pirohi were deep fried, dry & came plain with a side of sour cream. .. no butter & onions. Who does that to a Pittsburgh girl & her pirohi?! Haha. The waitress did graciously bring me some caramelized onions half way through, but they fell short of a good pirohi experience. Slightly overpriced for them as well.
Many brewery drink options. My beer was good.
Sat at a table & metal chair that were small & uncomfortable in dining area. Several whining small children. Bar area looked nice with high top tables. All in all, was a good experience. Would go back but order something different & sit in the bar area.“

“Finally getting to writing reviews for the best few vendors from my August 2019 wedding. I am a little hesitant to post this since their Facebook page seems to have gone silent and reviews on other platforms indicate that management and menus may have changed in the last 6 months. But I was so pleased with my experience that it only seems fair to give credit where credit is due…. If you are looking for a rehearsal dinner location in Cranberry and have 30 guests or less, I highly recommend the private room at Ember and Vine in the lobby of the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry. We researched every restaurant in the area and Ember and Vine at DoubleTree delivered a perfect solution. Their facilities are beautiful and modern, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Although they can do traditional seated banquet-style meals, we wanted something distinctly different from our wedding dinner the following day. We chose to order off their regular restaurant menu and have them cordon off a portion of the lobby area next to the private room, where a buffet was placed with different flavors of wings, woodfired pizzas, salad, and their oh-so-yummy crispy brussels sprouts. Not only were they flexible with the setup and menu (accommodating multiple food allergies), they also provided the option to have a limited bar within the private room or have our guests use the full bar in the lobby. Having the private room but also the cordoned off lobby area gave us extra area to mingle and a great balance between private space and the fun energy and ambiance from the restaurant and bar. Our guests loved the food and had loads of fun! Other factors that made Ember and Vine a clear winner for us were: - They had a very low minimum spend. Other locations with private dining had a ridiculous minimum spend that would be difficult to meet with a 20-30 person guest list. - The large parking lot. We looked at other options closer to our venue and parking was limited. - Flexibility with timing. We gave them a general time frame for arrival, but not knowing how long the rehearsal would take, they told us just to call them when we were 20 minutes out. Thanks DoubleTree and Ember and Vine for a classy venue and excellent food that let my husband and me and our closest friends and family relax and have a great time before our big day!!“

“My wife and l came there for the 1st time to dine for our anniversary. The place was hopping at 4:00 pm and l had reservation at 4:30. We waited at the bar and they text me at 4:30 that our table was ready. We chose to sit outside on the patio overlooking the fountain. Our server Casey was fantastic! I told her it was our 39th wedding anniversary and she delivered above and beyond customer service. The food was a little slow getting to our table due to a shortage of workers, however she kept us entertained and supplied us with libations until our meals arrived! When desert came she wrote on the plates Happy Anniversary. That was grand. She took the time to get to know us in a very short period of time. Hats off to Casey! She is a keeper! “I’m not fully sure why there are bad or negative reviews to this place (of course I didn’t see this before dinning) but, the food was pretty good. Friendly staff, the burger was cooked exactly the way I wanted it to be cooked. Got a butt load of fries that tasted good as well.
Overall, it’s good. Not a whole lot of options on the menu for my liking but it makes choosing easier.

“After a disappointing experience elsewhere that left me feeling insulted and ruined the start of my 32nd birthday celebration, Eat’n Park completely turned the day around.

My mother is a regular here, but it had been nearly ten years since my last visit. I was immediately struck by how welcoming the restaurant felt and how well our server treated us. From the moment we walked in, there was no awkwardness or misjudgment, simply courteous, professional service that made us feel respected and valued as adult guests.

I ordered the Whale of a Cod Dinner and was pleased when the server confirmed they had vinegar available. The red wine vinegar paired surprisingly well with the cod and rice. The meal was comforting, and the entire restaurant carried a strong sense of nostalgia compared to my memories from a decade ago. Our server was genuinely one of the nicest I’ve encountered in a long time, attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout. Even my mother pointed out to me how the server never filled her coffee cup the whole way up after the first cup, which is perfect. Filling it to the brim each time keeps customers staying and you don't turn tables as quickly as you'd hope. It also gives space to add half and half and such to it, which is what my mother does.

Eat’n Park took what had started as a disheartening day and restored the joy to my birthday celebration. Thank you for the excellent food, warm service, and for saving the evening. I will definitely be returning much sooner than another ten years.“

I like that in addition to bar seating and high top tables in the bar area, they have a large regular dining room with glass doors separating it from the pool table and bar area: less noise and kids have a place to be seated.“
