The Harmony Inn Reviews
There was a music event outside and I received a text two hours before my reservation time telling me that there was a limited menu. I wish I had been able to experience the full menu.
I did not eat while I was here, even still service was great and friendly.
Had the Steak Spaetzel and fried pickles and it was very good. The Spaetzel was super salty but a huge portion size. The entire atmosphere was fun and beautiful inside. It’s a super unique spot in a small town. The only thing was they were pretty backed up and had to wait longer than expected but it was worth it! Definitely returning!

The Harmony Inn is a popular restaurant known for its good food and great service, set in a charming historical building from the 1800s, complete with ghost stories and tales of early settlers. Even on busy nights, the staff is attentive and ensures everything runs smoothly. The menu offers a variety of options, including the Schnitzel Shawarma and Jagerschnitzel, both of which have received praise for their excellent taste. Guests can enjoy sitting outside on a wonderful patio that is both relaxing and a setting for fun, even in the heat. The restaurant also welcomes dogs, providing a doggie menu and water for pets. The food includes traditional German-inspired dishes like steak, sausage spätzle, and chicken spätzle, all served hot. However, some dishes can be quite greasy and buttery, which may upset sensitive stomachs. The fresh veggies are a highlight, though often coated in butter. Improvements to take-out containers could help prevent food from sticking and absorbing. Overall, the experience is enjoyable, especially with excellent service from the friendly staff, making it a great spot for special occasions like anniversaries. Located just 20 minutes from Wexford, it’s a worthwhile drive for a satisfying meal.
