“Great diner with great home cooked food“

“Finally getting to writing reviews for the best few vendors from my August 2019 wedding. I am a little hesitant to post this since their Facebook page seems to have gone silent and reviews on other platforms indicate that management and menus may have changed in the last 6 months. But I was so pleased with my experience that it only seems fair to give credit where credit is due…. If you are looking for a rehearsal dinner location in Cranberry and have 30 guests or less, I highly recommend the private room at Ember and Vine in the lobby of the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry. We researched every restaurant in the area and Ember and Vine at DoubleTree delivered a perfect solution. Their facilities are beautiful and modern, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Although they can do traditional seated banquet-style meals, we wanted something distinctly different from our wedding dinner the following day. We chose to order off their regular restaurant menu and have them cordon off a portion of the lobby area next to the private room, where a buffet was placed with different flavors of wings, woodfired pizzas, salad, and their oh-so-yummy crispy brussels sprouts. Not only were they flexible with the setup and menu (accommodating multiple food allergies), they also provided the option to have a limited bar within the private room or have our guests use the full bar in the lobby. Having the private room but also the cordoned off lobby area gave us extra area to mingle and a great balance between private space and the fun energy and ambiance from the restaurant and bar. Our guests loved the food and had loads of fun! Other factors that made Ember and Vine a clear winner for us were: - They had a very low minimum spend. Other locations with private dining had a ridiculous minimum spend that would be difficult to meet with a 20-30 person guest list. - The large parking lot. We looked at other options closer to our venue and parking was limited. - Flexibility with timing. We gave them a general time frame for arrival, but not knowing how long the rehearsal would take, they told us just to call them when we were 20 minutes out. Thanks DoubleTree and Ember and Vine for a classy venue and excellent food that let my husband and me and our closest friends and family relax and have a great time before our big day!!“

“I recently came back to visit my hometown, and I decided to stop in Eat'n Park to have a meal. I hadn't been there for years, and everything was just as good as I remembered it. The service was friendly, the food was great, and I felt right at home. I also purchased some Smiley Cookies and a copy of their book, Eat'n Park: The Story Behind the Smile. Highly recommend.“

“I was surprised a restaurant with tavern in the name would be open for breakfast, but they have a very good breakfast menu and even a delicious apple cider mimosa. The food was very good & service was friendly. It’s a lot higher than I expected and I like the decor a lot.“

We're longtime visitors to Log Cabin Inn and have been to Rachel's Roadhouse, but never made the trip to Springfield.

The ambiance for dinner was really nice, and the restaurant feels cozy.

We enjoyed the ahi tuna and zucchini fries as appetizers, the chicken noodle soup which was hearty, and the steak and crabcake, and the sea bass for dinner - all of which were excellent. For dessert, the chocolate peanut butter cake and cheesecake with raspberry sauce were divine!

Loved that they even have a few mocktails on their menu in addition to their alcoholic beverage selection.

Service was fast, all of our courses came out perfectly times and we really enjoyed our meal.

“Thursday is wing night. Hot sauce is a little bland, but the Dirty Bird seasoning that they use if you order it is wonderful. The restaurant side is open to the public and the food is good "american" style food. You'll find a lot of older local residents frequent these types of establishments“

“Good food but be aware it's stated that they close at 2pm but the kitchen closes at 1:30pm. That's not posted. We drove 50 minutes only to be turned away. Arrived at 1:40 well before the 2pm closing. They should post that with their hours.“

“Again I wasn't here at this restaurant but I know a friend of mine was. He said his entree was a lil fatty and the dessert she took home was sour and spoiled. Smelled horrible when pulled off lid. Not sure what he ordered but I'll ask them so I can tell my friends not to buy same dessert.“

“Food here is absolutely delicious, I highly recommend if you're in the area looking for a good place to eat. As for the wings anyone who loves flats out there, or even for the drum lovers for a dollar extra you can order either all flats or all drums.“

“We got married in September and just had our wedding celebration at JIT. Hands down, best venue in town! They absolutely deserve the award they won this year! Justin, Taylor, Chef Dave, and the entire staff are just amazing! They truly make you feel like family. The food is absolutely incredible. All of our guests could not say enough good things about the stations of food that we had, which the menu was completely customized to our liking. As one of our guests said it best- “It was awesome. Place was great. Food was great. Booze was great.” Not to mention, the decorations were just stunning. We talked with Justin and Taylor about a winter wonderland theme and WOW, they did not disappoint! Again, our guests were just mesmerized by the venue in its entirety. And Justin and his staff check in with you throughout your event to see if you need anything. They’re just so attentive, and they are all just such wonderful people to work with! Our day was absolutely memorable not even just for us, but for all of our guests as well! To say we had an enchanted winter wonderland evening, doesn’t even do it justice. Highly highly recommend!“

No matter what type of mood you are in when you walk in that door, she will always make it better and has you laughing before you leave. Hands down, the best Applebee’s location. We look forward to our weekly trips out there. It’s an absolute honor to considered one of Kari’s “regulars”. She is genuinely concerned if there is a week we don’t stop in, and will check in to make sure we are okay. This woman is an absolute asset to Applebee’s. “My partner and I discovered the Turn Club over a year ago and it's one of our favorite places for a datenight or to bring the whole family. I have even brought family from our of town and they've loved it too. My kids love it as well. Haven't tried a dish we didn't love yet, and we've tried a bunch. Great food, friendly staff, we keep coming back and enjoy each time. I've had several of the sandwiches... The limoncello chicken florentine panini and turkey panini are faves. My partner loves the Italian. We recently tried some of the pastas and loved those too. The chicken parm was fantastic. My only suggestion is it'd be nice if you could get soup as a side without it being Ala carte, as your wedding soup is amazing. We'll keep coming back. :)“

Some of our family favorites: Crab Rangoon, Tom kha soup, Pad woon sen, pineapple fried rice, all the curry’s, and the fried banana dessert is so good. Take the 0-4 Spice level seriously. 😉 I get Spicy 1 and that is plenty spicy.“

“Had dinner at Dee Jays for the first time. Excellent! 5 stars. Ribs are the best I've had for a long, long time. The jalapeño mac & cheese has a hint of the pepper without the heat. Appears that everything is scratch made including the Margherita! Dee Jay's is our new destination restaurant. The service was excellent, too. You will not be constantly interrupted. And it needs to be pointed out that the restaurant & restrooms are very clean (no odors in the latter!). Check it out. You should not be disappointed.“

“We’ve always enjoyed coming to first watch, but I have to give them a very special shout out today for being so amazing. My mother out of nowhere had a medical emergency (NOT related to the food) while we were sitting in the restaurant right after our food arrived. The First Watch manager was so amazing to us. I think he said his name was Chris. He came over to check and helped EMS get into the restaurant to check her. After they left via ambulance we tried to finish some food since we anticipated a long ER visit and the staff boxed up the missed meals and told us they took care of the bill, which was super unexpected and very kind. Thank you all for being so incredibly nice during a very scary time 🙏“

“Every single time we're in Cranberry, we hit up this location because everything is on point. Pleasant staff, properly cooked food, seating and tables are clean.

My wife loves the Dragonfruit mix d drink that comes in a shaker. The bartender went back and wrote the recipe down to make at home, very appreciative!“

“The salad bowl was amazing and I loved how I got to pick whatever I wanted to put in my salad. It truly made my first experience with them pretty good. The fries were really good as well. We also got a cheeseburger that he could make whatever way he wanted but it was really greasy and wasn't as good as other places. We will definitely be back for the salads and fries again. Oh and they have these amazing drinks made with pure cane sugar. I had the ginger ale and he had the black cherry. Both were really yummy.“
