“I first experienced Bert's Wooden Indian when I was in college. This is my favorite restaurant. I've been going there for 58 years. We celebrate my birthday there every year and we'll be celebrating my 77th birthday this weekend. We love the atmosphere, service and especially the food. I highly recommend it.“

“MY friend and I went there on Saturday to celebrate our birthdays..Our server Adam was simply amazing. He patiently waited for us to decide on our drink order and went as far as to let us try the drink to see if we liked it, which we didn’t but he took it off our bill and then brought us a birthday card and wished us a happy birthday. The food was very delicious. But our main complaint comes down to Adam !! He was so fantastic and such a kind person . They truly have a rare gem in him as an employee! I hope they appreciate him because he is what makes it a truly wonderful experience there. We will definitely go back there and if we are lucky Adam will be our server.!!!“

“The Eat 'n Park on Perry Highway, Mars is a very comfortable restaurant in which to eat. The food is always well prepared and I have never experienced anything but excellent service. My friend and I meet there about once a month for breakfast. This past Wednesday 2-4-26, we had Tamara for our waitress. Not our first time with her. Absolutely outstanding! She took our order, served it, checked on us often, and kept our coffee cups filled - all very efficiently, and with a smile on her face. We always leave feeling good about our visit, and look forward to our next time, thanks to the overall great experience.“

I get my belly filled on a full plate at a basic place, then I ever will a rich style where I'm paying for fancy. Will definitely be back.“

“Always number one!! The people there are so kind. Recently I went there to meet a group of friends and couldn’t navigate the steps on a mobility scooter. Alex, Jodi and a group of workers immediately took over helping me walk 3 steps while others picked up my scooter and carried it!! It still warms my heart. “Came back to the hotel after exploring the city, and this place was packed because there were a bunch of people staying for multiple conferences. Even though it was so busy we were able to place our orders and get a drink each.

I ordered the meatloaf sandwich with a Cesar salad, both were great! The meatloaf sandwich was very filling and I got full after both halves, the salad was crisp and fresh. The last order was a cookie with ice cream, which I did not have much of, only a taste and it was also very good!“

Here is my review in honesty: I know today was a big game day but we came in early to avoid that and potentially have a nice lunch. We told them that it was our first time, we weren’t told we had to scan for the menu until we looked down and saw that. Service was prompt but their customer service attitude was poor. When our food arrived the girl who brought it placed it on the other side of the table to where we had to grab it and place it in front of us. Our waitress seemed drab and seemed like we were wasting her time which isn’t exactly the best when someone is coming there the first time. Now the food itself was great, the decor was lovely put together but they need to work with their staff on being more personable. They weren’t smiling, talkative, they were in their phones, bartenders were complaining loudly. Honestly I felt like I was at a low budget Hooters mixed with the attitude of a Dicks. “Finally getting to writing reviews for the best few vendors from my August 2019 wedding. I am a little hesitant to post this since their Facebook page seems to have gone silent and reviews on other platforms indicate that management and menus may have changed in the last 6 months. But I was so pleased with my experience that it only seems fair to give credit where credit is due…. If you are looking for a rehearsal dinner location in Cranberry and have 30 guests or less, I highly recommend the private room at Ember and Vine in the lobby of the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry. We researched every restaurant in the area and Ember and Vine at DoubleTree delivered a perfect solution. Their facilities are beautiful and modern, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Although they can do traditional seated banquet-style meals, we wanted something distinctly different from our wedding dinner the following day. We chose to order off their regular restaurant menu and have them cordon off a portion of the lobby area next to the private room, where a buffet was placed with different flavors of wings, woodfired pizzas, salad, and their oh-so-yummy crispy brussels sprouts. Not only were they flexible with the setup and menu (accommodating multiple food allergies), they also provided the option to have a limited bar within the private room or have our guests use the full bar in the lobby. Having the private room but also the cordoned off lobby area gave us extra area to mingle and a great balance between private space and the fun energy and ambiance from the restaurant and bar. Our guests loved the food and had loads of fun! Other factors that made Ember and Vine a clear winner for us were: - They had a very low minimum spend. Other locations with private dining had a ridiculous minimum spend that would be difficult to meet with a 20-30 person guest list. - The large parking lot. We looked at other options closer to our venue and parking was limited. - Flexibility with timing. We gave them a general time frame for arrival, but not knowing how long the rehearsal would take, they told us just to call them when we were 20 minutes out. Thanks DoubleTree and Ember and Vine for a classy venue and excellent food that let my husband and me and our closest friends and family relax and have a great time before our big day!!“

“My husband surprised me with an impromptu date night, and this restaurant fit the bill perfectly. They were very accommodating despite us not having a reservation. We chose to sit on the back patio; this was a wonderful choice for a warm spring evening. We were so pleased that they were open since many restaurants are closed on Mondays and they were quite busy. Our meal was delicious and the service was very good. We would absolutely recommend the pork ribeye and the Caribbean jerk cod. Both were perfectly seasoned and cooked.“

“I’m not fully sure why there are bad or negative reviews to this place (of course I didn’t see this before dinning) but, the food was pretty good. Friendly staff, the burger was cooked exactly the way I wanted it to be cooked. Got a butt load of fries that tasted good as well.
Overall, it’s good. Not a whole lot of options on the menu for my liking but it makes choosing easier.

“Wife and I got take out burgers on 9/18/25 and they were really good. The burger meat was fresh and misshapen and you could tell it wasn’t a premade burger. We were both shocked it was so good. We haven’t been to Applebees in a long time. This will bring us back.“
