“It's a walk-in, take out place. Food is amazing, super hot and fresh. Make sure that you have time to wait, because the food is so good that they are incredibly busy. But, even with how busy they were at like 8:00 p.m., they got my order out perfectly, like I said it was super hot, and tasted amazing! Prices are “
“Went with family to celebrate a birthday. Hadn't been there in about 10 years so was not certain what the quality of food and service would be now.The food was still exceptional; flavorful, cooked to perfection. I had the lobster kettle; two other people had the mariners platter and seafood pasta as well as two appetizers. We all had the Caesar salad which was excellent also. I appreciated that the waitress spaced out our appetizers, salads, then main courses so we had time to enjoy each without being rushed. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. The prices are somewhat higher than similar restaurants but the quality of food and service make it the perfect place for special occasions. Highly recommend.“
“We just moved to the area and my girlfriend is never happy with her food when we visit nearby restaurants...... She loved her gyro! I had a bread tie on my plate under my food lol but the manager made it right and took it off my bill! I still ate the sandwich it was so good! We will be back for sure! Thank you for making a dish my girl liked! Lol“
“This is a hidden gem!! The server was awesome. She was attentive and stopped to check on us a bunch of times, but wasn't annoying. She was super familiar with the menu and made good recommendations. The food was piping hot and everything tasted SO good!!“
“There were 5 of us and didn’t realize we were sitting close to the music in the dining room. Music was loud n asked the server if she could turn the music down n she said she couldn’t. Next time will know not to sit there. We were trying to talk as we enjoyed our meal.“
“My family and I went to grab dinner on Wednesday night, the restaurant was calm but had a full bar and some guests dining on some tables. Our server was amazing and even suggested some dishes to my wife and I . The gyro was amazing and their homemade wings were amazing. they definitely do not hold back on portions. We were extremely pleased with the food and even better service, we will be coming back for sure.“
“Celebrated my mom's 80th birthday dinner here. They gave us a nice big corner table and our waitress, Emily, was very attentive. Food was delicious, atmosphere very nicely decorated for Christmas. Overall it was a wonderful evening and everyone was happy with entire night!“
“Great cheesesteak! Chilly Willy's has the best cheesesteak in Western PA. Even the Godfather of Meats from Philly, who has over 300K followers on TikTok agreed. The shop has a cool vibe with sport paraphernalia on the walls. It is small but cozy. I ordered the #2 without peppers with extra cheese (which I would recommend). The steak was very delicious, well seasoned. The cheese was melted throughout with a good amount of grilled onions. All of this on a Amoroso roll. It is very much like a traditional Philly steak ordered this way, and the first time that I have had a cheesesteak in the Pittsburgh area that resembles what you can get in Philly. The owner, Willy, is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a good cheesesteak.“
“I've been a pierogi connoisseur for 50 years. I had my doubts that it could compete with my all-time church favorites, but oh was I wrong. The potato cheese pierogies were absolutely perfect. And the wings, as part of a Sunday special were crispy and seasoned just right. This is now on my short list for frequent stops. Bravo Comfortably Yumm!“
“This restaurant really caught me off guard, in the best way. Its humble and kind of hidden if youre not from that area(like me). We are from Youngstown/ akron area and my mother and I were out thrift shopping and stumbled onto it. portions are generous, staff is very welcoming. service was so quick. I had the pulled pork nachos , and my mom had the Cajun chicken Alfredo. both were absolutely delicious! great job , We will be back with the rest of the family soon!“
“We stayed the night at the hotel before our morning flight and decided to get something to eat at Caroline’s Restaurant and it did notDisappoint. The coconut shrimp special was delicious and the service was great. Brianna was very attentive and friendly- wonderful waitress!! Will definitely be back!“
“We came to the bridgetown Taphouse on our way through ambridge from Creekside beer. We got the reference from Liz that worked at the Creekside beer who was beyond helpful and super nice. We stopped in right after Fermata. As a craft beer connoisseur, it quickly moved to my top 5 brewery, I recommend that you stop in on your way to the tap house. As they are open 7 days a week. Our waiter Teeghon @ Bridgetown was incredibly kind and informative. As an ambridge native he was very proud of his town. He recommended the French dip, which I already had my eye on. He also, inside joke, recommended the Tuna melt lol. We also had the scotch eggs and the bridgetown burger. They were delicious, and the homemade sauces accompanied them perfectly ? Can't wait to stop bye again on our journey back. Highly recommend“
“We always enjoy our dinners at Frank G's Place - the food is excellent and the service is outstanding - our server, Alissa, was so personable, kind, efficient and helpful. We love having her as our server and she always does a great job! We really enjoy dining at Frank G's! Oh yes, the drinks are the bomb!“
“Great service and excellent food. I was expecting your average bar burger and was pleasantly surprised at what I would call elevated pub food. We enjoyed the fried pickles and smashbugers were delicious. Everything was well seasoned and flavorful. I highly recommend and will definitely be back for more!“
“I love their risotto very much. They have a few different options. I have tried a few and my favorite is the mushroom one that I believe is seasonal. The portions are great, I always have enough for a late snack. They also have alot of other delicious meals. The burgers are wonderful.“
“I like the 2-2-2 it's a breakfast meal you can get two pancakes or two toast you can get bacon or sausag and eggs it's around $9 it is 8 something but you got to think about tax everybody's so sweet and if you're lucky enough your kid can get a fruit snack and the cheeseburgers but the only bad thing is is tax and you have to pay for water but other than that it's pretty good if you go there every day they always remember you and it would be nice if they add kids mealKid-friendliness: They always have high chairs for your little baby“
“Never had something from their menu I didn't like. The fried fish was top notch and we had amazing service.Kid-friendliness: Our server had our kid's meal on the table before the rest of our food came out, which is EXTREMELY wonderful to anyone who knows what dining out is like with a 2 year old.“
“Ordered the reuben sandwich and a cheeseburger. The sandwich was incredible, the burger was ok but the French fries were just bad. No salt and somehow had grease pockets in them just waiting to explode in your mouth. Can't comment on atmosphere cause I just did a pick up order but the staff I encountered were super friendly and nice.“
“Listen if you want the best food in the state you have to come to Fritzys. Don’t let the picture I uploaded fool you. I had already eaten half the French toast and then got a small piece of the omelette my friend ordered (yes that is less than a 1/3 of the omelette. It was HUGE) the portions are great the price is great and it will be the best food you’ve ever eaten. You must give this place a try. I also got a serving of their daily soup (it was butternut squash today) to go and let me tell you best I’ve ever had. You won’t regret eating here. In fact you will want to make this your to go to place to eat.“
“I had the Taco Tuesday Special. I started with one of each (beef, fish, and shrimp). They were all delicious. Really nice sauce on the fish and shrimp. I end up ordering one more shrimp. Sooo good. Great prices and great service. Open Mic night once a month is worth planning a special trip“
“I’m super particular about my food, I want it cooked but I also don’t want it cooked like shoe leather. Ordered honey barbecue wings and they were truly the best wings I’ve had from any local restaurants. Cooked but soft skin, and the entire wings covered in sauce, not like some these place that drizzle sauce on theirs. Fast service and friendly environment. They also have the “BEST” apple pie that’s ever made by mankind.“
“Good food, quick service, friendly staff, very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back.Parking: Parking spots are angled along streetWheelchair accessibility: Building is old so doors aren’t very wide. Inside was plenty of room to manuever“
“Best wings in the area and it's not even close.I grabbed some wings as recommended by a friend and they were amazing. Peach bourbon is like candy, little sweet for me but I could see people loving those. Honey jalapeño (honey mustard with cut up jalapeño) was great. The garlic parm was smothered in butter, garlic and palm. 10/10 on those for sure. My friends had barbecue and mango habinero. Both were great. We will continue to order from there over other places. That seems to be the general consensus by our 2nd shift work force that orders out as we were going elsewhere before.“
“The most unique menu in the area and best experience I have ever had from Miami to NYC and in between. Even including international dining - I would choose Hyeholde first, any day. Personal, family, business events…the consistency is unbelievable! A hidden gem that has no equal.“
“I do not normally write reviews...and I frequent this establishment. However, for as long as I have been coming here I've never felt compelled to post about my experience....until today. I am a creature of habit, I order the same thing...not tonight. I asked for a chef salad but I wanted more veggies then lettuce....BRUH. THEY UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT. PERIOD. I HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO SAY BECAUSE IM ABOUT TO BE IN A FOOD COMA! I ❤️ JIMMY KS!!“
“Great fish dinners! This is a nice little local place. Great affordable food, delivery/carryout only.We always make sure to stop by during Lent to get our fish. Make sure you hit the ATM first, the Sauce Pot is cash only but worth the extra effort.Parking: 3 free spots in front of the restaurant and a terrible parking lot for a few cars on the side.“
“I absolutely love this. Me and a group of co-workers went there just because it was. We could not believe how good it is how friendly the help is and how big the. This is probably the best bargain food and the best quality combined I have seen since covid! All of the sandwiches basically are like all you can eat.“
“It was a great experience. At 1st I went to the bar a cross called Penn Brewery but they took forever to serve me so I walked over. The bar tender “Tee” was quick and welcoming. I had a great time, food came out quick just like the drinks. Made my flight wait alot easier.“
“Our family of four stopped in to this very inconspicuous restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised at the amazing service we received. The food was delicious and the prices were very fair. If you're thinking of trying this spot, do it! Everything we had was fantastic.“
“Lot of talk about how great the burgers are here. They were good, but I certainly wasn't blown away. Admittedly, I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to good burgers. The pattie itself was cooked past medium and honestly lacked seasoning. The bun was mediocre. The toppings where fresh and the fries are good. I've yet to try other items on the menu.Parking is a bit tricky if it's busy. Tight area up there around the restaurant. There are two entrances. One for the bar which is around front. And a back entrance for the restaurant. The staff was great, and very friendly.Overall it's worth a visit. But if you're a burger snob you will be under whelmed.“
“A large group from Hockey tournament went there on Saturday afternoon. We were expecting a long went but they went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was great Turtle soup excellent. We had young kids with us that were excited and loud. No one seemed to mind. The food came out fast hot and good. We will be backKid-friendliness: Excellent they treated the kids great“
“We went here before the Donnie Iris concert yesterday, Saturday at 4 pm. They were not busy yet. I was greeted by name by the hostess and our server Nikki (sorry if I’m not spelling this correctly) was a true delight. She was sweet and attentive. We had a few picky eaters in our party of 6 and Nikki took the time to help them find something acceptable on the menu. She also sent the owner over to check in with us since it was our first time in. He was a delight. We talked food and business and found out the he gives his staff benefits and profit sharing. The food was great. We had greens and beans and the crab-stuffed artichokes for apps and filets, lobster, pork chops, fish, and corned beef (St. Paddy’s day special) for our entrees. Everyone was happy even the picky eaters. We had desserts too. They were yummy. We were stuffed and happy when we finally left after 6 pm. The dinner crowd was coming in and the place was filling up which we were happy to see. We will be back.“
“Let's just say after hearing about Primanti Bros. All weekend , and now finally getting to experience this amazing place and the history they preserve thru the amazing food and the story behind it . Let's just say I am an instant fan of Primanti Bros. And there delicious preservation of history. Equally, I'm a fan of Amy, the waitress who took the time to go over the history behind Primanti Bros. She is such a delight, an add bonus to the whole experience.“
“Surprising great! We just stop overnight here at the hotel on the way from D.C. to Chicago, and didn’t expect a lot besides of any cities here, just to bite something after the ride. This restaurant is like a pearl in the middle of nowhere (sorry if someone feels offended?) and we are happy to have stopped here. Our experience was great! I wasn’t very hungry so I ordered two starters instead of a “full” dish - one too much! The portion are really good and much bigger than expected. My husband took the filet mignon only and it was enough for him.My tuna tartar as well as the pumpkin salat was fine presented on plate, had an intensive fresh aroma and tasted delicious even if I would never combine tuna & sweet papers, but it works good! The house wine was good enough and with 8€ a nice offer. All in one - we appreciated the meal, the service, the modern design and the wine and we clear recommend this place! Our warmest thanks to the cooking & service team?“
“Really enjoy the breakfasts. I particularly like that I can order a Bloody Mary with it. I normally go for the Eggs Benedict with salmon. Was hugely disappointed yesterday though. The poached eggs were overcooked, the chef skimped on the Hollandaise (and it was broken) and there was no tomato. And I noticed it was the same chef that normally makes it spot on perfect. I'll chalk it up to a bad day.“
“Ordered chicken, potato salad and mac and cheese for my daughter's baby shower. Everything was excellent! Guests were raving about all of it, in particular the mac and cheese. Food was ready for pick up hot and on time. No complaints and highly recommend!“
“The bar was very busy on the Friday night when we visited. Service was prompt even thought we only wanted drinks when we first sat. Our party ordered the turkey club, 2 chicken wraps, a burger, Phili steak quesadilla and cream of mushroom soup. All of the food was hot and delicious. The cream of mushroom soup was excellent and clearly homemade. The highlight of our meals! Kudos to the chef!“
“We enjoyed our meal at the Grand Valley Inn. The food was delicious! The portions were perfect and felt worth the value. The food was definitely worth it.Our server was very good. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but she was attentive without being intrusive. She always made sure our beverages were full and did a great job.Now my only negative and I run the risk of sounding like a prude. But this is important in my opinion. This is our first time here in quite a while. Does the Grand Valley Inn really want the very first impression to be a hostess (or manager or owner I’m not sure) wearing a shirt with a prominent swear word on it??I thought the Grand Valley Inn had a certain level of atmosphere and class wanted but I do not see the appropriateness of this. There are many who find this objectionable and do not want to see this obscenity every time this person walks by our table. I did not say anything because quite frankly I wasn’t sure if this lady was a manager/owner or not and I wasn’t sure of what kind of response I would get and wasn’t looking for trouble.Again, the food and service was great! No complaints and very high quality. But the atmosphere is hurt by things like that shirt, unless that’s what the Grand Valley Inn is now going for.“
“We just moved to the area, and have stopped in a few times now. The crowd seems to be mostly regulars everytime we have stopped in. The bartenders are friendly and the people are nice. It will definitely be a stop for us when we want a close place to go out for some good drinks and food.“
“Wonderful hidden gem of a bar. You'd never guess from the exterior what you'll find inside, definitely see for yourself....#1, Food was good, they have seasonal grub and beer specials, and they're quite tasty.#2, Service was excellent, friendly attentive staff, and the owner Frank gave a cool tour of the joint which leads me to #3;#3, Atmosphere is wild, in such a beautiful way. There are instruments to play for jam bands, art everywhere, and vinyl records playing from a huge collection. If you can find Frank the owner and have him give you a tour, he has quite the plan for this little spot.Vegetarian options: I'm confident there are food items on the menu that were vegetarian. May change seasonally.Dietary restrictions: No peanuts used as of 10/2023Parking: Free parking lot across the street.Kid-friendliness: It's a bar, I would not bring children here.“
“We enjoyed the meal, but had to stand in line for quite a while to be seated at a table because of having 5 in our party (two of us using canes). The atmosphere was pleasant & not too loud. Our meals were very good and of generous portion sizes. We will go again, just maybe not on a Friday night during Lent.Parking: Parking lot was full once we parkedWheelchair accessibility: A bit of a grade, but all one level in & thru the entrance“
“We got this for the first time over the weekend. We got it to go. The fries are so good I couldn't stop eating them. They dump the extra they make in the bag so it was full of fries. So many we couldn't eat half of them. The burgers are really good too. You pick your toppings. I got a little cheese burger, which idk why their called Little when it's regular size. It was really tasty. I'm not a huge burger fan but I am of theirs now. They make them while you wait so you know their frsh. My dog had a $6 jot dog, no bun. He enjoyed it. Wanted more.So yea a bit pricey but we'll worth it. We spent $46 for 2 ppl and the hot dog. 2 burger and 2 fries. Give it a try if your in the burger mood.Parking: Parking iffy. You can find a place but it might not be in front.“
“Famous local chain. They top a lot of their sandwiches with fries. I got the Italian crostini and it very good. I liked the vinegar based cole slaw even better. Very rare to find that at restaurants. Great friendly efficient service. Full bar available.“
“Stopped to visit Hanks after getting off work. Everyone chose different items. One steak salad, one ice cream cone, one sundae, one milkshake. They were all served up in a reasonable time. I heartily recommend this place to eat at. Yummy!Parking: Plenty of parking areas“
“Great burgers, fries, salads, steak&fries! Great atmosphere. Staff is very nice. It's a fun, eat in your car, old fashioned, with a modern twice place to eat with family or friends. Been going for 44 years. The first place I went after getting my driver's license.Parking: Can get busy in warmer weather. Maybe 50 parking spots, they come to car take orders and deliver it. Old fashioned car hop restaurantKid-friendliness: Kids love the food, they never leave the car. Good time“
“*Edit*I gave this place a 2nd chance, and glad I did. My wife got chicken planks and fries, while I got the fried pierogies. A complete 180 from our last visit! Very happy with our food, and the bartender has been great! Will be coming back Took forever to get service, and when we finally ordered food, it took over an hour to get it. Once it finally came out, it couldn't even be eaten. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1, was the bartender apologized and took the food off of our tab.“
“I attended a R2L meeting here and the large lower meeting room was great. While there are always some quirks to work out the first time at a new location, everyone I spoke with was satisfied. We had about 40 people in attendance and the facilities worked out fine.“
“Really good food. Spicy Asian Garlic wings were really good as well as the chicken, cheese & fry. Fries were fresh cut. The dj was horrible but I was even surprised they had one. Smoking permitted. Lower level bar area with tables a few steps up. Multiple entrances“
“Vic and his team catered our wedding recently and did a wonderful job! They were professional, accommodating, and most importantly, the food was GREAT! From cocktail hour, dinner, and helping cut the cake, Vic and his team helped make our day extra special.“
