“*Edit*I gave this place a 2nd chance, and glad I did. My wife got chicken planks and fries, while I got the fried pierogies. A complete 180 from our last visit! Very happy with our food, and the bartender has been great! Will be coming back Took forever to get service, and when we finally ordered food, it took over an hour to get it. Once it finally came out, it couldn't even be eaten. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1, was the bartender apologized and took the food off of our tab.“

“First time at this location and I have to say the best customer service here! Not only did manager come to table to check on things(2x) but when she realized I had been served but my son was still waiting 15 minutes later they promptly retrieved his meal and discounted for the delay. It was such a give great service vibe ill definately return when visiting my son again.“

“I first experienced Bert's Wooden Indian when I was in college. This is my favorite restaurant. I've been going there for 58 years. We celebrate my birthday there every year and we'll be celebrating my 77th birthday this weekend. We love the atmosphere, service and especially the food. I highly recommend it.“

“We stopped by to enjoy some grub and local flavor. We ordered the old fashioned and the sweat and gold ipa... Both were great! We started our meal with the perogies and they did not disappoint! The y were crispy and the carmelized onion was delish! We also order burgers, of course .. The hubs got the Maggie's farm with smoked Gouda, horseradish, & rum aioli... It was outstanding! I ordered the forest hills with mushrooms, blue cheese, and honey... Absolutely delicious. We also added rosemary to our fries and couldn't stop eating them... Super yum!“

If you're into fancy plates and high prices maybe Pittsburgh is more for you. The prices was very reasonable and the waitress was friendly. The wait may have been a little long, but life's to short for me to always be in a hurry anywhere. I get my belly filled on a full plate at a basic place, then I ever will a rich style where I'm paying for fancy. Will definitely be back.“

“Always number one!! The people there are so kind. Recently I went there to meet a group of friends and couldn’t navigate the steps on a mobility scooter. Alex, Jodi and a group of workers immediately took over helping me walk 3 steps while others picked up my scooter and carried it!! It still warms my heart. The food was excellent and service was excellent. Atmosphere has always been classy and welcoming!“

“Our church gets food catered from Grand Valley for most our occasions. We continue to use them for good reason. They are easy to work with, always get it right, timely, fair pricing, and the food is always good!! Makes feeding large amounts of people easier and pleasurable. Grand Valley Inn is highly recommended!“

“The only smoking bar I know of in the area. The place is full and my beer was filled immediately. The food came out looking like the pictures in the menu. We had a pierogi grilled cheese, hot/parm/garlic wings, 60cent pierogi's with a bunch of toppings and pizza logs. Let me tell you I am not disappointed. Wendy was an amazing host, thank you.“

“Nice little Christian Cafe. When I say that, this place will certainly be a comfortable spot for you even if you do not believe. There are Bibles and books and Christian material around in the peripheral. Not on the tables and there's nobody trying to convert you in there. It is a very comfy spot, well decorated and just Pleasant. The music has been neutral Jazz both times that I have been. Had me a proper fancy coffee and listen to some Miles Davis and John Coltrane. The profits of this Cafe benefit a local youth outreach as does the sandwich shop and the thrift store on either side. Highly recommended!“
