“*Edit*I gave this place a 2nd chance, and glad I did. My wife got chicken planks and fries, while I got the fried pierogies. A complete 180 from our last visit! Very happy with our food, and the bartender has been great! Will be coming back Took forever to get service, and when we finally ordered food, it took over an hour to get it. Once it finally came out, it couldn't even be eaten. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1, was the bartender apologized and took the food off of our tab.“

“Our server, Jessica, was exceptional. The outside patio area and flower beds are beautiful. The music and ambiance were lovely. We had the steak, chicken parmesan, sea bass special, and porkchop meal. Everything was very good. We also had soup and dessert. It's a bit more expensive, but it was a very pleasant experience. We will definitely dine again for our special occasions.“

“I first experienced Bert's Wooden Indian when I was in college. This is my favorite restaurant. I've been going there for 58 years. We celebrate my birthday there every year and we'll be celebrating my 77th birthday this weekend. We love the atmosphere, service and especially the food. I highly recommend it.“

The y were crispy and the carmelized onion was delish! We also order burgers, of course .. The hubs got the Maggie's farm with smoked Gouda, horseradish, & rum aioli... It was outstanding! I ordered the forest hills with mushrooms, blue cheese, and honey... Absolutely delicious. We also added rosemary to our fries and couldn't stop eating them... Super yum!“

If you're into fancy plates and high prices maybe Pittsburgh is more for you. The prices was very reasonable and the waitress was friendly. The wait may have been a little long, but life's to short for me to always be in a hurry anywhere. I get my belly filled on a full plate at a basic place, then I ever will a rich style where I'm paying for fancy. Will definitely be back.“

Alex, Jodi and a group of workers immediately took over helping me walk 3 steps while others picked up my scooter and carried it!! It still warms my heart. I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo, and this may very well be the best tomato soup I've ever had! It was so thick and hearty, and absolutely delicious! “The only smoking bar I know of in the area. The place is full and my beer was filled immediately. The food came out looking like the pictures in the menu. “Nice little Christian Cafe. When I say that, this place will certainly be a comfortable spot for you even if you do not believe. There are Bibles and books and Christian material around in the peripheral. Not on the tables and there's nobody trying to convert you in there. It is a very comfy spot, well decorated and just Pleasant. The music has been neutral Jazz both times that I have been. Had me a proper fancy coffee and listen to some Miles Davis and John Coltrane. The profits of this Cafe benefit a local youth outreach as does the sandwich shop and the thrift store on either side. Highly recommended!“
