“My husband surprised me with an impromptu date night, and this restaurant fit the bill perfectly. They were very accommodating despite us not having a reservation. We chose to sit on the back patio; this was a wonderful choice for a warm spring evening. We were so pleased that they were open since many restaurants are closed on Mondays and they were quite busy. Our meal was delicious and the service was very good. We would absolutely recommend the pork ribeye and the Caribbean jerk cod. Both were perfectly seasoned and cooked.“

“My husband and I decided to try out Downeys after reading reviews on Facebook. Walking in the door, we were greeted by the host and asked if we’d like a table but we chose to sit at the bar. The bartender was right there waiting to take our drink order-even as packed as it was- and once we told her it was our first time there, she told us all about their specials and raved about all of the food. We decided on trying two of their pizzas-the Tuscan and the italiano. We also were told about the house made ranches they offer and OF COURSE we had to get them. 10/10 Delicious is a downplay! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!“

“MY friend and I went there on Saturday to celebrate our birthdays..Our server Adam was simply amazing. He patiently waited for us to decide on our drink order and went as far as to let us try the drink to see if we liked it, which we didn’t but he took it off our bill and then brought us a birthday card and wished us a happy birthday. The food was very delicious. But our main complaint comes down to Adam !! He was so fantastic and such a kind person . They truly have a rare gem in him as an employee! I hope they appreciate him because he is what makes it a truly wonderful experience there. We will definitely go back there and if we are lucky Adam will be our server.!!!“

The clam chowder soup is very good as was the wedge salad with shrimp covered in blue cheese. The bar environment was sports oriented so a bit loud & cold.
Bar tender was on her game working tables at the bar level.
Price was moderately high but the food tasted great 👍

“The Eat 'n Park on Perry Highway, Mars is a very comfortable restaurant in which to eat. The food is always well prepared and I have never experienced anything but excellent service. My friend and I meet there about once a month for breakfast. This past Wednesday 2-4-26, we had Tamara for our waitress. Not our first time with her. Absolutely outstanding! She took our order, served it, checked on us often, and kept our coffee cups filled - all very efficiently, and with a smile on her face. We always leave feeling good about our visit, and look forward to our next time, thanks to the overall great experience.“

“Went there for the first time on a Saturday for dinner. Nice place with lots of options. Our server who was doubling as cook was super nice and answered all our questions and special requests. “Not a huge review guy but felt compelled to give props to Matt and his team for executing wing orders on Super Bowl Sunday. I arrived a tad early for my pick up time not knowing what the crowd will be like. I assumed busy but not slammed. Well they were slammed. Matt communicated with everyone in line and while it wasn’t the exact pickup time stated, it was well within a time frame that wasn’t excessive. Hell, it’s super bowl Sunday and you are still in line for the best wings in Pittsburgh. Got the wings, drove home....the wings were cooked perfectly! Great job!“

“Came back to the hotel after exploring the city, and this place was packed because there were a bunch of people staying for multiple conferences. Even though it was so busy we were able to place our orders and get a drink each.

I ordered the meatloaf sandwich with a Cesar salad, both were great! The meatloaf sandwich was very filling and I got full after both halves, the salad was crisp and fresh. The last order was a cookie with ice cream, which I did not have much of, only a taste and it was also very good!“

“Finally getting to writing reviews for the best few vendors from my August 2019 wedding. I am a little hesitant to post this since their Facebook page seems to have gone silent and reviews on other platforms indicate that management and menus may have changed in the last 6 months. But I was so pleased with my experience that it only seems fair to give credit where credit is due…. If you are looking for a rehearsal dinner location in Cranberry and have 30 guests or less, I highly recommend the private room at Ember and Vine in the lobby of the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry. We researched every restaurant in the area and Ember and Vine at DoubleTree delivered a perfect solution. Their facilities are beautiful and modern, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Although they can do traditional seated banquet-style meals, we wanted something distinctly different from our wedding dinner the following day. We chose to order off their regular restaurant menu and have them cordon off a portion of the lobby area next to the private room, where a buffet was placed with different flavors of wings, woodfired pizzas, salad, and their oh-so-yummy crispy brussels sprouts. Not only were they flexible with the setup and menu (accommodating multiple food allergies), they also provided the option to have a limited bar within the private room or have our guests use the full bar in the lobby. Having the private room but also the cordoned off lobby area gave us extra area to mingle and a great balance between private space and the fun energy and ambiance from the restaurant and bar. Our guests loved the food and had loads of fun! Other factors that made Ember and Vine a clear winner for us were: - They had a very low minimum spend. Other locations with private dining had a ridiculous minimum spend that would be difficult to meet with a 20-30 person guest list. - The large parking lot. We looked at other options closer to our venue and parking was limited. - Flexibility with timing. We gave them a general time frame for arrival, but not knowing how long the rehearsal would take, they told us just to call them when we were 20 minutes out. Thanks DoubleTree and Ember and Vine for a classy venue and excellent food that let my husband and me and our closest friends and family relax and have a great time before our big day!!“

“First time ever experiencing a twin peaks. Many of my friends and family have raved about other locations so when we saw one on our travels we decided to stop in. Here is my review in honesty: I know today was a big game day but we came in early to avoid that and potentially have a nice lunch. We told them that it was our first time, we weren’t told we had to scan for the menu until we looked down and saw that. Service was prompt but their customer service attitude was poor. When our food arrived the girl who brought it placed it on the other side of the table to where we had to grab it and place it in front of us. Our waitress seemed drab and seemed like we were wasting her time which isn’t exactly the best when someone is coming there the first time. Now the food itself was great, the decor was lovely put together but they need to work with their staff on being more personable. They weren’t smiling, talkative, they were in their phones, bartenders were complaining loudly. Honestly I felt like I was at a low budget Hooters mixed with the attitude of a Dicks. I would absolutely recommend this place for the food but not for the customer service.“

I was expecting flavor fireworks, but it was more like a flavor fizzle. The avocado was the highlight though! The fries were fresh and tasty, and the house-made ranch? Chef’s kiss.
