“What a pleasant treat. First time eating at a downtown Butler restaurant, and we were all happy with our experience. My crispy chicken sandwich was delicious. The burgers we saw being delivered to other tables looked big and amazing. The menu has several unique items that shows me the creativity of the kitchen. The place is clean, well lit, and the wait staff were helpful and friendly. Prices were moderate and worth it. Looking forward to returning!”

“Don't you love it when you come to an authentic Italian place I tell you this place is it. I have been to 49 states with the last 20 all sorts of Italian restaurants throughout that time here's the thing they don't have to be big and fancy this is a quaint beautiful old school Italian restaurant. VINCE the owner greeted and talked to us for awhile and even gave us a (house salad on the house) .There's homemade everything there .... homemade pasta homemade sauce, homemade desserts, homemade salad dressings.... this place is the real deal.I've had chicken parmesan in countless places always seeing if I could try to find that one that's the best this by far was the best if there's ever way that I can get back to this place through my travels I absolutely will..Thanks Vince”

“The interior of the building is nothing special if you plan on dining in. There is nothing wrong with it, it's just sparse. The food is very good. My friend and I bought two different pizza's and they were both very good.”

“WOW!Okay, now that I have your attention, this coffee is INCREDIBLE! Seriously, it’s hard finding a local coffee shop that has a bean as tasty as Vintage! The Pumpkin Patch Cold Brew is exquisite & the Iced Chai is the normal go-to. Baked goods are always fresh and tasty! The team is so friendly and welcoming. The inside is charming with a rustic/antique vibe. Tons of space for working/catching up with friends or colleagues. & again I cannot express how DELICIOUS their coffee is!”

“Expensive as hell...$9 for a Large strawberry milkshake, wasn't the best milkshake I'd ever had unfortunately but you'll have that, was still good”

“The food was very good. We had the kimchi beef udon bowl and shrimp fried rice. You can order how spicy you want your food. The bowl was excellent. The fried rice was too much oil but nice spices, and about 14 decent sized shrimp. (Not tiny salad shrimp like you sometimes get) Good value for the price.Vegetarian options: Many choices”

“Love the retro feel of this Dairy Queen! Even though this is still the chain ice cream shop, it feels local and special to the area. Keep in mind you are close to the road with a speed limit at 50mph. Trucks come barreling through loudly and of course, some people are never content unless they drive 10 over the speed limit! All in all, give this place a shot!”

“The food was very good but an hour wait for a few burgers in an uncrowded restaurant was ridiculous and the ladies room was deplorable with a missing door no toilet paper and a broken lock on the door that was there. The waitress was new and it showed but bless her heart she gave it her all and was very ”

“This historic candy shop on Main Street in Butler has been family owned and operated for over 110 years, with the coffee business added in the late 1990's. The decor of the main location (there are several "satellite" stores around the area) features the original booths and counters from early in the shop's history, which provides a very old-school soda shop vibe. The baristas are very friendly and the drinks they make are among the tastiest and most creative caffeinated beverages in the area. Their Main Street roast is what we use at home to make cold brew, and it is velvety smooth. Highly recommend Cummings!”

“We used the outdoor patio for a pre wedding happy hour. Nice area with its own service window. Seemed difficult for the food runners to know where to drop food as they entered and simply yelled out the food they were carrying hoping the person who ordered it could hear them.Clearing out our tabs was the main problem. Since we were a wedding there were multiple families with the same last names.Bathroom was kept up nice.”

“A few years ago, I would have reviewed much different. In the past few years the crew at this Wendy's has shown that they not only care about their job but they care about me. The customer.I haven't had a single complaint about food or service in so long, it actually pushed me to make this review. The staff here goes out of their way to make sure that the food is made to order, fresh and they always have a way of memorizing and knowing my order even better than I do sometimes.I just wanted to say thank you and give you all this very deserving 5star review. The bathrooms are always clean, the lobby is always fresh and clean. The staff is so friendly. Give this Wendy's a try if you haven't already.”

“The soft serve and ice cream are what they're known for, but it's also a very cozy old school diner with homemade dishes. You can tell it's a favorite for locals who want an unfussy warm meal made with care! We were tired after a long day of travel and we were glad to find a place where we could quickly get a bite to eat. We ordered the crispy chicken salad, the fried cheese bites (half spicy, half regular), and the chicken parmigiana pasta that comes with salad. The salad and the pasta each came with a canned drink. The portions were good and we did not leave hungry. The servers and staff were very attentive and friendly. It was just what I would expect! They were generous with the ice cream and soft serve and even though we were full from dinner, we couldn't help but indulge.”
“Stopped in for a meeting with another local business owner and ordered the Fizzy Lemonade. Outstanding and Kayla couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Highly recommend!”

“It is nice to have North Country Brewing and Freedom Farms so close to home. Great place to stop in after the Freedom Farms festival or any time that you would like to get good beers and food. The bartender is very attentive and makes visiting a friendly experience! Definitely will be back again soon.”
“This place is great, it's a dive bar in most aspects but it's actually clean and has lots of things like pool and PA slots if you're bored. The regulars take over the jukebox every night and play old head metal, but if you're okay with hearing pantera/slayer a whole lot you'll have no problems with this bar. The only, ONLY complaint is that their drinks and food are a little overpriced, especially shots, but it's not like they're totally unreasonable.Gotta give a shout out to george, she's the best.”
“Me and my family love their pizza and breads ticks and the service is like no other. I now work there and seeing all these mean comments that are untrue is crazy because we clean our facility and we always are nice to customers and prepare the food as if we are making it for ourselves. The wait time can get long but we get very busy and try our best to make it worth the wait”

“Stopped in for first time today. Phenomenal food!!! Super great price! I will be coming back for more. There's a reason why they have been in business since tue 50s. Order whole steak hoagie. Pulled pork cheese fries and a soda. All for 18 bucks. Yes please and thank you”
Options
“The atmosphere is strictly food oriented ... not a romantic spot but the food is delicious. Service times can vary, but even during the Covid BS, it wasn't bad, not like many other places. The El Diablo is AWESOME - just hot and spicy enough without ruining your taste buds.”
Options
“When I walked in, it reminded me of an old smokey bar. I don't believe smoking is allowed now. It is still kind of dim inside giving that old vibe. I ordered a fish sandwich and fries. Both items were delicious and cooked to perfection. I don't know about other items, but recommend the fish.”

“Probably THE best pizza locally! Great salads. They bring your order to your car and not bad on pricing either. Good people + service. We need more pizza shops like this.”

“The Burger Hut 2 is a classic diner located at "The Point" in Butler, PA. Parking is almost always great! They have the best burgers and sandwiches in the tri-state region. Just to mention a few of the great ones to try: The Dagwood, Friday Special, tuna melt, and turkey club. The fries are always hot! If you ask for mayo, all they have is a "Miracle Whip" style dressing. I don't know why, but it works! The waitresses bust their rear-ends and deserve FAT tips! This is a MUST TRY diner!”

“My wife and I stopped in for the first time on 11/6/22, and really liked it. The location is to sample, buy, and go, not a location to hang out and drink, eat, listen to music.....this is fine for us, I just wanted to add it to the review so you know it's a buy and fly location, not a hang out.We like dry reds, and the Celtic Red was very good, we bought several bottles of it. My wife picked up a few others she liked. The location is out of the way, so trust Google maps to get you there. I gave them 4 vs 5 stars because they were out of other wines we really wanted (their cab sauv, syrah), so we'll have to go back again to get them, which we will do.I would recommend giving them a try for sure.”

“I tried the fish sandwich here because a friend suggested it. It was big and was less expensive than the competition here in Butler. This is a real fish sandwich. Not a frozen, processed fish patty but a real fillet. You can tell it was fried in clean oil unlike others I have tried. The dining area is small but I'd rather eat this kind of food at home anyway. This isn't a fast food joint, so unless you're getting hot dogs don't expect to be in and out of here quickly. Calling ahead would probably be a good idea.”

“This place happened to be right next to the hotel where we were staying the night and after a long drive we decided this was the easy option. We weren’t disappointed. Food and service excellent. Large portions. We both had steaks which were perfectly cooked to our liking. It was very busy and quite loud but not excessively. At least there weren’t dozens of tv screens around the room all showing rubbish - so distracting.”

“Butler Pennsylvania is a small gem in the Great Lakes rust belt area, a bit off the beaten path from the lakes, but discovering it yielded a wearily aged town that once was the birthplace and home of the original US ARMY Jeep, but has started to make a comeback as a haven for the arts and the next generation. The Brick House is no exception, rather it exemplifies the soul of this town. The outside of it was a mystery, as the winding entrails of the business seemingly takes up three connectedBuildings in order to entertain large parties be it a wedding or family reunion. The West Family reunion was in progress when we showed up, but we never even heard them until we walked around the block. That’s the confusing thing: it’s like someone hiding multiple personalities they are ashamed of, but secretly prideful of too. There is no trace of the other parts of the Brick House until it actually affects you—like when you order food and it takes a long time because the reunion catering is unveiled at the same time.At first the outside was perfect. Mild balmy weather, Simone’s song drifting from around the corner, and then you enter. It smells like smoked cigars and ash. Not entirely bad. It took a while to be seated because it was EMPTY. The bar room looked cool though. We ended up sitting in the game room, a room full of pool tables and half broken down games. Despite the reminder of Butler’s plight being echoed in the game room, we were comfortable. The server who was taking care of us was also helping with the reunion. He was awesome and cool. Love the guy. We ordered the crab cakes, jambalaya, hot dog, kids quesadilla, and grilled chicken. The kids items were surprisingly good! Our picky kids ate them up to our surprise. The crab cakes were fresh and used only claw meat and were HUGE! Super tasty too. The Jambalaya was out of this world! This far north and a Jambalaya like this exists! What a find! The andouille sausage was authentic and the shrimp was plump and cooked perfectly. The rice was perfection as well. The chicken was juicy and plump too! Overall the Jambalaya was a masterpiece. The executive chef came out to see us, and he is one cool dude who is proud of his food—and it shows. The soul of Butler is a new resurgence of art and elevating life in the rust belt tucked away in the hills of Pennsylvania, and the Brick House is an oasis of culinary delight that echoes it’s home perfectly. The next day, I am still mentally savoring that Jambalaya and the crab cakes. It was worth the wait and confusion due to the layout. Give this place a try, you will be confused, amused, and later delighted.Vegetarian options: There are dishes that start out vegetarian but can haveEat added to them. The pesto is one of them that looked inviting.”

“Amazing food and service Too noisy but that is the genre today I don't like having to yell to have a conversation Would be nice if there was a quieter second room”

“Sometimes I get sushi at dragon. Food and service always meets expectations.Vegetarian options: Noodles, vegetables, rice, rolls, etc.Kid-friendliness: Dragon is kid friendly. I have kids and found that to be the case. My kids are 9, 5, and 0. They did not complain about unfriendliness at all.Parking: Free parking is located outside.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs are allowed.Dietary restrictions: Tell your server. Dragon will work something out.”

“The Ponderosa Restaurant in Butler PA was a great experience. Not only was the food good and hot, but their dining area was clean and had plenty of space between tables. We will definitely be returning to that Butler Pa. Ponderosa”

“Good food and cold beer. The bar was clean and the service was as expected. Got the honey pepper chicken wings on 1/2 priced appetizers, and a whiskey bacon burger paired with a blue moon.”

“In PA for work. Hampton has lots of menus and I choose Vocelli because I've never had their food.Extremely happy I choose this place over pizza hut, domino's, ext.Ordering was easy, quick and guy who took order was nice.I got Buffalo wings & white cheddar Mac and cheese.Everything is good!Garlic bread that came with Mac is the best I think. Best garlic bread I've had from a pizza shop. Food was hot and delicious.Delivery driver was very nice as well. 10/10 experience all around. I will be ordering in the future.”

“I had an impromptu trip to Butler and decided to stop here for some good coffee before heading out. Thanks to yelp this shop came up for me. I agree with other reviews that the private parking lot is a huge perk. The business is surrounded by narrow streets (and road work was being completed on the one right in front of them). The staff very helpful in pointing out their seasonal specials and answering my questions. I ended up settling on an iced Blueberry crumble latte that came with a cute mini cupcake. I also brought home an espresso brownie and a reeses big cup cookie to share with my husband. The espresso brownie had a really good flavor to it and the reeses cookie reminded me of those pb drop cookies you see around Christmas. It's probably a good thing we aren't local or we'd be here wayyy too much!Give it a try! You won't be disappointed.”
