“I had an impromptu trip to Butler and decided to stop here for some good coffee before heading out. Thanks to yelp this shop came up for me. I agree with other reviews that the private parking lot is a huge perk. The business is surrounded by narrow streets (and road work was being completed on the one right in front of them). The staff very helpful in pointing out their seasonal specials and answering my questions. I ended up settling on an iced Blueberry crumble latte that came with a cute mini cupcake. I also brought home an espresso brownie and a reeses big cup cookie to share with my husband. The espresso brownie had a really good flavor to it and the reeses cookie reminded me of those pb drop cookies you see around Christmas. It's probably a good thing we aren't local or we'd be here wayyy too much!Give it a try! You won't be disappointed.”

“I live next door to this place and im in quit regularly, and i do say hands down it is an Amazing, between the service and the food, I'm blown away! iv ordered many different types of dishes from this place and I have been pleased each time, they're fries are also one of the best I have ever had from a family operated pizza shop, for a great and satisfying meal, i recommend tani's!”

“What a pleasant treat. First time eating at a downtown Butler restaurant, and we were all happy with our experience. My crispy chicken sandwich was delicious. The burgers we saw being delivered to other tables looked big and amazing. The menu has several unique items that shows me the creativity of the kitchen. The place is clean, well lit, and the wait staff were helpful and friendly. Prices were moderate and worth it. Looking forward to returning!”

I have been to 49 states with the last 20 all sorts of Italian restaurants throughout that time here's the thing they don't have to be big and fancy this is a quaint beautiful old school Italian restaurant. “The interior of the building is nothing special if you plan on dining in. There is nothing wrong with it, it's just sparse. The food is very good. My friend and I bought two different pizza's and they were both very good.”

The fried rice was too much oil but nice spices, and about 14 decent sized shrimp. (Not tiny salad shrimp like you sometimes get) Good value for the price.Vegetarian options: Many choices”

“Love the retro feel of this Dairy Queen! Even though this is still the chain ice cream shop, it feels local and special to the area. Keep in mind you are close to the road with a speed limit at 50mph. Trucks come barreling through loudly and of course, some people are never content unless they drive 10 over the speed limit! All in all, give this place a shot!”

They put on a dinner buffet just for us! “Get the tempura shrimp, you won't regret it. I also had a tempura California roll this time and it was quite a trip. So good. The teriyaki chicken from the bento had a juicy, smoky flavor to it. And the rice - the rice even! - is a step above the rest. 10/10 would recommend will be going back again.”

“This historic candy shop on Main Street in Butler has been family owned and operated for over 110 years, with the coffee business added in the late 1990's. The decor of the main location (there are several "satellite" stores around the area) features the original booths and counters from early in the shop's history, which provides a very old-school soda shop vibe. The baristas are very friendly and the drinks they make are among the tastiest and most creative caffeinated beverages in the area. Their Main Street roast is what we use at home to make cold brew, and it is velvety smooth. Highly recommend Cummings!”

“We used the outdoor patio for a pre wedding happy hour. Nice area with its own service window. Seemed difficult for the food runners to know where to drop food as they entered and simply yelled out the food they were carrying hoping the person who ordered it could hear them.Clearing out our tabs was the main problem. Since we were a wedding there were multiple families with the same last names.Bathroom was kept up nice.”

“We drove from Pittsburgh to participate in Miracle day and visit our buddy Zach who was helping out. Everyone was great. I witnessed The employees being so patient and remaining kind dealing with a difficult customer.I was even extremely surprised to see they served Muddy Buddy blizzards.... amongst many other flavors not typically found at our local DQ. all I have to say is that Blizzard was the best ice-cream I have ever had!!!!!! Muddy buddy is my favorite snack... I usually can't finish ice-cream but I couldn't stop eating this one!!!! I will def make the hour drive to get this again asap!!!!!!!!!”

“UPDATE: I tried this place again a few years after my initial review and I haven't had any problems with their service for some time now. Their Turkey Bacon Cheddar Wedgie is probably the best food to be found in Butler. All of my recent experiences with them were positive and tasty.----------------------------------I ordered from these guys tonight and they screwed it up. I gave directions on which floor and door the driver should use, which were ignored.I had ordered a 12" Turkey, Bacon, Cheddar Wedgie but they brought a 12" Turkey, Bacon, Cheddar Hoagie. Then the jerk on the phone started saying I had ordered the hoagie and that I was somehow wrong.Who sells both a 12" TBC Wedgie and a 12" TBC Hoagie anyway? That's just a mixup waiting to happen.I was asked if I wanted to order the wedgie but I didn't feel like waiting another hour so I just cancelled the order. I'm glad I was paying with cash so didn't have to deal with CC hassles.Edit: Turns out they don't even sell a 12" TBC Hoagie. In fact, they don't sell any 12" hoagies at all. According to their online menu, all of their hoagies are 13".”

The regulars take over the jukebox every night and play old head metal, but if you're okay with hearing pantera/slayer a whole lot you'll have no problems with this bar. “The Burger Hut 2 is a classic diner located at "The Point" in Butler, PA. Parking is almost always great! They have the best burgers and sandwiches in the tri-state region. Just to mention a few of the great ones to try: The Dagwood, Friday Special, tuna melt, and turkey club. The fries are always hot! If you ask for mayo, all they have is a "Miracle Whip" style dressing. I don't know why, but it works! The waitresses bust their rear-ends and deserve FAT tips!This is a MUST TRY diner!”
