My son took me out for lunch. Although I grew up in the Butler area, I had never eaten here before - had only been to the bar side. I relocated back here after 30 year away, and am trying out all my old faves, and new places too. We BOTH agreed that the food was top notch, and the service was great. Listen. This is not a high class establishment, however, it is a go-to favorite for me and my family every time I am back home visiting my folks. It's a divey (though much improved from bygone eras) and well-loved local place. They have standard bar faire, daily specials and there is always a $2 "frosty" beer option. They have a homemade hot sauce that is rumored to melt through the plastic cups it is served in...this has never, to my knowledge, happened. But it is decidedly good...read full review

When I walked in, it reminded me of an old smokey bar. I don't believe smoking is allowed now. It is still kind of dim inside giving that old vibe. I ordered a fish sandwich and fries. Both items were delicious and cooked to perfection. I don't know about other items, but recommend the fish.
