We have a fundraiser card with buy one get one free coupons for Tropical Cafe so we went there for a take out supper. What a great group of people on the evening shift! We weren't sure how big the flatbreads would be so we ordered salads also. Both of the chicken pesto flatbreads and Thai chicken salads were fantastic. Everyone had smiles during the official grand opening. I like the Caribbean jerk chicken with pineapple salsa...but the star is a pineapple, coconut and banana smoothie. Great smoothies and they are actually smooth no ice
I've been there a couple times. On one visit I tried their chicken pesto flatbread which was actually a folded pita, not a type of pizza like most of us would think. I liked it and would get it again. On my other visit I got a smoothie, although I think they made it wrong. I'm pretty sure they forgot the yogurt, because it was just ice and fruit.
