I had lunch at Barnhart's for the first time. I have lived in the area for 32 years and never heard of this place. We had fish and french fries. It was some of the best fish I have ever had! The fries were fantastic too. The food was very hot. You place your order at a counter and they bring your food to you. They have iced lemon water for free. Serve yourself! The soft serve and ice cream are what they're known for, but it's also a very cozy old school diner with homemade dishes. You can tell it's a favorite for locals who want an unfussy warm meal made with care! We were tired after a long day of travel and we were glad to find a place where we could quickly get a bite to eat.
