The food selection is impressive, and the lobster langastinos in drawn butter with baked potatoes are particularly noteworthy. The place has a cute little beach eatery vibe with an anchors away theme, and the staff is very attentive, making guests feel like family. The menu is huge, featuring hand-breaded catfish and walleye sandwiches, zucchini strips, and fried cauliflower and mushrooms. The chicken dumpling soup is good, though some may expect a creamy broth. Customers should be aware of the steep stairs leading to the main entrance, which may pose a challenge for those with mobility issues. The parking lot can be tricky to navigate, with large curbs and only one way in and out, but there is free parking. Service is great and caring, though some items may be unavailable at times. Overall, the Anchor Inn is a frequent and enjoyable stop for many, offering a great local spot with prices that can't be beat.
