The queen of Tarts is infant the queen of Tarts! Her food is amazing! I have not been disappointed. Her apple Cinnamon buns tast just like a warm apple pie and the cannoli cheese cake is amazing! The coffee is very good. The inside of her shop is so beautiful. it is a warm and welcoming environment. The staff is very nice. The queen of Tarts is a must try!

No longer has our business. Everyone check your order before you leave this etablishment. If it’s wrong, it’s your fault not theirs. We order vanilla cupcakes and received banana nut. The owner was super rude when called to let her know what happened, and I admit my husband was fired up when he called because he was also treated rudely ( by the owner) at pick up. Our cake was wrong too, but hey whatever it was good! But giving us banana nut vs vanilla cupcakes and then saying it’s our fault, not cool.Update: None of what the owner wrote below is true. It’s actually laughable that she responded this way. We have pictures of everything, and none of our order, other then the chocolate cupcakes was correct. While apologizing to our guests, and also explaining the first interaction, they stated they wanted to warn us about going to Donna’s place, that they all stopped bc she is rude. Upon reading the very few negative reviews you have here, I was expecting this response. I listened to you and my husbands conversation and you started in on him, first and I told him to knock off his attitude several times. He was frustrated and upset and handled his emotions incorrectly and I have said that but, you did in fact charge us for several products we did not actually receive. And ok, forget the whole nut thing… it wasn’t what we ordered. In your conversation earlier you said that it was vanilla bc your menu doesn’t say “cinnamon cake”, but now it was cinnamon cake? Even though I have 10 people who clearly knew it wasn’t when they ate it. This isn’t the way I have spoken to you and as a business owner I am embarrassed for you talking to me this way and about my husband. I truly hope that you change, truly, bc I am soo sad I can no longer enjoy your cinnamon rolls and cheesecakes. I would never take advantage of a small business, and I told you that by taking down the Facebook review. My husdand was not speaking to you in any fashion that was sooo bad you need to put “let alone a woman”. That is a horrible light to cast on a disgruntled customer, and just is not true. Slander really. Honestly there is so much more I could say, in relation to this event and others, since we have ordered from you for every Holiday we have hosted in recent times, we even gifted cinnamon rolls to family members for Christmas, bc we love them and wanted to support your business. I believe your response is just a tactic to bully us into taking down the review. You are an excellent baker, but you really have a bad attitude when confronted with your downfalls, apparently, read the other negative reviews.Update: that’s what we ordered ma’am, and that’s not what we got, we received a vanilla cake with a cannoli filling layer. Lol I didn’t blame you for anything other then not giving us what we ordered. And “Get Well”? Wow.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Queen of Tarts! We have ordered cakes, cookies, cupcakes and cake pops for various family events and everything has been exceptional. Donna's cakes and Pam's cookies are literally works of art that have the added benefit of tasting delicious! They will turn your vision into a reality - all I did was show one inspiration picture for each event and they decorated everything beautifully to theme. The customer service is also impeccable. Would highly recommend for any event you are planning or just to stop in and grab some coffee and a pastry from the bakery!

I have yet to be to the actual location but I have been to their mobile shop twice so far and they are wonderful, they are very kind and treated my great grandmother with patience and respect. I got a lemon bar and some macaroons so far and they were all delicious. Good customer service and great treats!

Had their Lemon Bar and creme brulee.. from their food truck at the Pioneer Nights. And it was frozen solid. I mean if you want to have a desert at a picnic you should be able to eat it then. And when I was able to eat it it tadref freezer burnt. The creme Brule did not taste homemade as it was bland like custard from a doughnut and the sugarvthey put on to melt taste burnt not sure they used the right sugar or tried ro melt it to fast.To your reaponce I know what creme Brule is. However it shouldn't be burnt black granuals it should be burnt but also melted. When bighting Into it was similar to chewing on fine rock candy. And we waited 15 minutes for the lemon bar to thaw.

I recently went to Pioneer night in Carbondale. I got a sweet tooth and decided to stop by the Queen of Tarts Dessert Truck. I got a few items out of their wide range of options, including: crème brûlée, lemon bars, and coffee cake. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the crème brûlée. The vanilla bean custard was smooth, creamy and flavorful, the top was thin, crispy and torched to perfection. As for the other items, the coffee cake was moist and the lemon bar was zesty and decadent. I highly recommend stopping by.
