The good old days are alive and well at Rossi's! Tonight, we ordered takeout from Rossi's, and it was better than ever. The portion of Chicken Parmesan was bigger than ever, and it was so tender I didn't even need a knife. The sauce is semi-sweet and always feels like being at your grandparents' house on Sunday. The side of pasta is a meal in itself, and the side salad is always good. The Chicken Jacquelyn is sautéed with prosciutto ham and finished in a sherry...
All was good until the very end. We had brought a cake in to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We asked for some plates, 9 of us, to use for the cake. We had a total bill of over $400. They charged us 50 cent plate charge per plate!! Who the hell ever heard of such a thing? Will not return due to that lack of judgement on their part!! It's the principle of the thing!!
I went for the first time with my sister and my niece's because my boss was claiming that he was an excellent cook there and well he killed it and did an amazing job. The food was really delicious and the service was really nice. It's a whole different atmosphere from what I'm used to and like but it was still really nice.
