Autana’s food is amazing! We are so excited to know that they are having pop ups. Run, don’t walk to their next spot!
Updated 08/2024: Still one of my favorite restaurants around!! 4 years later and the taste, quality, and service hasn't missed a single beat!! It's so impressive. I highly recommend trying Autana. Although they're transitioning to a new location it will be worth you finding them during their pop-ups in Brewerytown. You won't be disappointed.
Updated 10/2022: I used to order to go from here when it was a pop up early on in its inception. I finally sat down to eat at the brick & mortar. The food is exactly the way I remember it years later. Consistently fresh and delicious food packed with flavor. The service in house is unmatched. You will not be disappointed. The atmosphere, service, and food are together an experience. Even if you’re unfamiliar with Venezuelan food I can guarantee you personally that you’re in good hands and this is exactly the place to venture out!
I cannot recommend this place enough. It was a random find for me via google. I was curious to try it. Everything was fresh and delicious! My 8 year old daughter gave it a “10 times 10” rating. The flavors complimented one another so nicely. The portions are large and so fairly priced. Almost too fairly priced. We ordered to go and the food held up perfectly. I can’t wait to eat there again. A must try!

Although the food was good/okish is a little too pricey for what it really is. Quite disappointing.

This place was by far the best restaurant in Ardmore and probably the best thing to happen out of the pandemic. The food was delicious but very reasonably priced. It was perfect for takeout getting the mandoca, arepa, and empanada sampler, really clutch when you needed a hearty meal but wanted to be at home. For dining in, the restaurant had the right feel of intimate without being pretentious. There was always some amazing collaboration being planned to keep things fresh, and I appreciated the family run aspect. It really felt like a home away from home. Whenever someone came from out of town, I would take them here first. Really bummed that this is closed down, hope that whatever comes next is just as good. But nothing will beat Autana, and Ardmore won’t be the same. Uploading some photos for the memories.

Lovely family operated restaurant serving the Venezuelan staples of empanadas, arepas, and cachapas. The dad is head chef, the mom is a sous chef, one daughter is the pastry chef, and another works the dining room. That said, the service can be slow. Eventually, very friendly, but slow . The food is great from superior ingredients and authentic preparation. The dining room is Ikea chic and holds around 40 patrons. Parking on the street, a SEPTA station lot, and a nearby parking structure are convenient to the restaurant.

I loved the small intimate feel of this restaurant without feeling over crowded. The portions were perfect allowing leftovers to be brought home and the price was very fair for the quality and quantity. The server said that the food is presented just as it is in Venezuela. I HIGHLY recommend the key lime pie, it was the best I’ve ever had.
