Buena Vista Mexican Restaurant & Cantina in Ardmore

We ordered the Señorita margarita & another flavor of margarita (can’t recall) - great drinks. We ordered the Guac & chips (homemade?) & salsa and both were delicious. Our group ordered chicken flautas (filling was barely 1T of chicken, mostly potatoes & no seasoning), chimichanga (excellent), vegetarian enchiladas (good), combination platter with tinga chicken (very good) and steak fajita (very good). Everyone loved the beans & rice sides. Ambiance was casual and pleasant. Staff was excellent and attentive. Aside from the flautas, it was a great experience, albeit a bit pricey.

Absolutely unacceptable. Bartender Yeny H dipped my glass directly into the ice tub while making my drink. This is a serious health code violation, unprofessional, and dangerous. I will never return and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely loved the food and service
We were a party of four and went on a Sunday night for dinner. It was suggested by our friends who have been there before, and I must say I was not disappointed at all.
We ordered nachos (one of the best I have ever had), sweet plantains (they were decent; not great, but I was happy), steak and veggie fajitas (great, full of veggies not just cheese and beans) and veggie enchiladas
The portion was amazing and we all were very happy with the taste, service and overall price of items
I highly recommend this Mexican joint to others for flavorful Mexican food in Ardmore

The veggie nachos and fish tacos were delish. The veg nachos had grilled broccoli, zucchini, and carrot which I haven't seen on nachos before but as a veggie lover, it was fantastic. I also ordered the michelada with Tacate and 10/10 would get it again. We had my pup with us so we sat outside and the table luckily was in the shade.

Super colorful and festive atmosphere. The staff is wonderful- helpful and attentive. The food was delicious- we had chicken tacos and a vegetarian chimichanga and both were big portions and flavorful. The margarita was a perfect end to the week. Get the guac! Will definitely be back!

I have been here two times now, both times the service and energy we got from the waitresses was horrible. The first time I went was for a birthday and we ordered a margarita pitcher. After getting our ids checked when ordering, somebody else came back 10 minutes later to check them again (without any explanation) and then continued to stare at our table all night long.

The second time was even worse. We had ordered chips and guac and even though the chips were done, we still had guac left. However, our waiter walked by, said nothing, and grabbed the guac. I asked the waiter nicely the next time he came around to get us the guac back, he refused and told us that it was empty. Basically saying we were lying. He was rude and unwilling to help. He also left us sitting with our plates when we were done for over 15 minutes. The cherry on top was the automatic 18% gratuity because 'our bill had hit $100'. What an absolutely ridiculous way of running a restaurant, expecting an automatic 18% tip for shitty service and rude waiters.

Went in to use the rest room and they declined because it was for customers only. Understandable. I asked if I could buy food. The guy said he didn’t speak English. I asked to speak to someone else so I can order from the menu and he refused. Horrible experience. The man I spoke to was very blatant and rude.

I thought the food was really ok for someone who is from California I know good Mexican food. The food is extremely overpriced as well. I got a $16 quesdilla that was too small for it to be that much. Avoid this place for food. Drinks looked good though

absolute unacceptable service. i asked if they sold bottles of water, they said they did not. i asked, looking at the refrigerator “what is that (on the shelf)?” the server answered “seltzer water”.

i asked if i could pay with apple pay. after a bit of confusion, i was told there was a $15 minimum. i politely declined. but was told to wait a moment and then told that for a $2 fee i could have the pleasure of paying $4 dollars for a small bottle of (seltzer) water.

The food and drinks are average. It's good. Nothing special. The pebble cocktail glasses are cool!
