Great meals that are not your usual Chinese food fare. Dan Dan serves a type of Sichuan cuisine that originated in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan. Service was great. We enjoyed the cocktails as well. My spouse had a mock tail with mango, lemon, and ginger. I had the Earl Grey infused gin with lemon and honey which was delightful, though I wish it was served in a tumbler rather than the coupé glass or was served in. They graciously packed our food for take home and it tasted amazing the day after as well! We had the crispy spicy cucumbers (Yum!), turmeric fried chicken wings (Yum!), cold sesame noodles (Yum!). I had the shaved ribeye hot pot and my spouse had the flounder with leeks and scallions - both were amazing!
Update: My spouse and I come here once every few weeks. The service is excellent and always accommodating :) The food has always been on point - recommend the cold sesame noodles and steamed soup dumplings as starters, as well as the spicy cucumber salad!

I love it Dan Dan food . I ordered pork wonton w/ chicken broth delicious and also Dan Dan noddle this is good. I did just 4 stars because is a little grease . Other wise I recommend.

Our whole family LOVES DanDan! Excellent food, cocktails, service and ambiance. We love the outdoor seating as an option on a beautiful day — even if just for some drinks and apps while our kids run around. The food holds up very well for takeout/delivery too.

Evening got off to a rough start when we waited along with many others by hostess stand for 15 minutes after our reservation time. We were constantly asked to move so staff could retrieve take out orders which seemed to be their priority. When seated server was good and food was great.
This was my first time visiting Dan Dan and I was looking forward to the experience. My friend and I were the first customers. When we notice 35 minutes, there were 3 other families. They all got their food before us. It should not have take 45 minutes for wings and the dry pot dish. I hate to believe it was because we were the only non Asian table.

Took my Mom to DanDan for her birthday lunch. I normally go to the one in Center City philadelphia so this was my 1st time at the Ardmore location and it was better than I expected .
This was my Mother's 1st time at the establishment and she enjoyed herself as well as my Uncle and Cousin. The Staff were wonderful as accommodating. They explained dishes and give recommendations to my family. We did not feel rushed and were able to enjoy lunch.
If you want delicious Taiwanese cuisine and a nice atmosphere I would highly recommend DanDan.

Was seated at the outdoor bar from about 8 to 9:15 tonight. Food was great, service was disappointing.
My order was taken relatively quickly, food came relatively quickly, and then… I was pretty much ignored. It was a long week, and I gladly would have had another beer or two, but was never given the opportunity.
I’m not mad, just disappointed. I just wanted to sit quietly and drink. Y’all coulda made more beer dollars off of me. 🙃
