The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a double vegan sampler. Great variety of tastes. The whole staff were really friendly and happy to share details on the food and how it was prepared. Really a great experience.
The food here is excellent!! I’ve been to Ethiopian restaurants before and this is amazing! Lovely atmosphere, super friendly service.
Highly recommended. This is a family business, with great food and amazing service. We will definitely visit again!
We met with chaltu and her husband! We loved the food! We loved the atmosphere! Bathroom is so clean! Place is cozy! We hoped to listen to some kind of Ethiopian classical music other than that it’s perfect!
Found out about this place by accident and I love it. They have amazing food and the restaurant itself is beautiful. It’s also owned by a family and they are such nice, great people. They offer great service and also make you feel so comfortable and welcomed.
I LOVE ESHKOLLLL!
Great experience at Eshkol cuisine! The food was amazing, truly tasted homemade and the chef came out afterwards to greet us. The service was great, too, the waiters went out of their way to explain everything and make sure we ordered a little bit of everything! Will definitely be back!
I had been waiting to come and dine at Eshkol since it’s opening. I had to make the stop coming from LA. Food was delicious! Every dish was flavorful, rich, and clearly crafted with care. Easily one of the best Ethiopian restaurants I’ve ever been! I would highly recommend Chef Chaltu’s cuisine.
Yanni and his family was very hospitable, my family felt like we were sitting in their home. My family is extremely picky but enjoyed the experience as a whole. The only downside was we couldn’t purchase the Banana nut bread loafs!!! Please add whole loafs. #loveit
Eshkol is a must try dining experience! Authentic and delicious Ethiopian food made with love by the best family. Highly recommend.
Authentic food, very tasty. The most lovely family run this place ❤️

Beautiful decor and delicious authentic meal prep! Owner was so nice!
We had such a wonderful experience here! By far the best Ethiopian food around Philadelphia and the food is worth the train ride. The shiro was especially good and the injera was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was so warm and the service was fast and attentive. We will be back!
My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at this incredible Ethiopian restaurant, and we were absolutely blown away. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with beautiful traditional decor that immediately set the tone for an authentic experience.
The food was nothing short of amazing. We ordered a vegetarian double platter with a variety of dishes, and every single item was bursting with flavor. The injera was perfectly tangy and soft, and it paired wonderfully with the rich stews and vegetables. You could tell everything was made with care and tradition in mind.
What really stood out, beyond the delicious food, was the service. The Owner Chef Chaltu and her staff took the time to make sure we felt comfortable throughout the meal. It made the experience not just enjoyable, but meaningful.
Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant to anyone looking for something special and authentic.

It was our first time trying Ethiopian food , Went here for dinner on a Friday , so glad we made a reservation because the place was packed . I finally understood what all the fuss was about , the ambience and host were warm and inviting . It appears to be a family run business and The food was beyond delicious . We are definitely going back and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try Ethiopian food .

We stopped here Monday for a early dinner and the food and hospiality were phenmomal! Yoni and his entire family are very welcoming and the food portion is welll worth the price, we got the platter for two and it could easily feed 4-5 people.
If you are on the fence or never had Ethiopian food, this is the spot to try it out!
