I have been eating Hykel's hoagies for over 60 years and like to consider myself somewhat of an authority on the subject- I just had one today while watching the Eagles game. Pretty incredible to hold it together for that long! Order an American Hoagie- trust me on this - the perfect blend of meats and cheese, lettuce tomatoes and chopped onions, on a Conshy bakery roll. I've been going to Hykel's since I was a teenager. I moved away to Miami years ago and came back home to visit family.It's a great neighborhood bar and grill.This was the first cheesesteak I've had in almost 3 years because I refuse to eat them in any other area other than the Philly area.This cheesesteak was amazing. Full of perfectly cooked meat, nice soft roll and piping hot. The order of fries was almost too big to finish... But I did.Same with the hoagies....

A nice night to sit on the back deck. Salad with seared tuna steak, and Hykel's hoagie, both excellent. The orange creamsickle smoothie was delicious, more like a dessert than a drink. The server was attentive and friendly. Enjoyed our evenimg!
