This was our second time here in 2 weeks - we loved the small to medium shareables Wonderful cocktails and great seasonal wines. Enjoy the atmosphere as well. It's intimate and not too loud

First time trying this place and I probably will go back. The food is very good and the wine and drinks menu is varied. The service needs help. From the hostess who seemed lost as to where to put us to the server who walked past our table multiple times without checking on us, it was very frustrating. Our drink order (wine and a cocktail) took 20 minutes and the server didn't bother to come back and take our food order in that time. The food came out quickly after we ordered, but at the end of the meal, the waiter dropped the check without asking if we wanted dessert. Everyone was friendly enough but ineffective.

I ate at this restaurant for the second time, and although I enjoyed it the first time, this time was very disappointing. The charred romaine was warm romaine, not charred, and my chicken was dry. The portions are ridiculously small for the price. Most appalling was paying the bill in cash and receiving incorrect change (off by $0.40.) I could have cared less about losing that small amount of change, but our server never acknowledged that it was incorrect or that the restaurant didn't have any change. A classy restaurant would have rounded up - that's just good business. I won't be dining here again.

Excellent food, cozy atmosphere. Love their special wine & cuisine tasting nites. One of my "go to" spots when friends visit.

I absolutely love this place! It's cozy, the dishes are involved without being pretentious, the often have wine specials, and it just overall exudes so much heart. It's definitely become our go to destination in Ardmore.

Our group enjoyed the cocktails and shared the excellent chicken, meatballs, haddock, tofu and a couple of salads. 2 caveats- the restaurant on a Saturday evening was understaffed that led to spotty service. Secondly, for a restaurant that encourages sharing of food, I have never quite figured out why the plates we eat out of are so tiny! Also, the loss of the bartender has been a serious one.

Perfect place to go for anything from a dinner with friends to a date. Relaxed and inviting. The wine and beer selection is excellent and our waiter gave us great recommendations. The menu offers something for everyone and suggests sharing. The roast chicken was outstanding. The roasted Romain Ceasar was a great take on a standard. If I lived in the neighborhood it would be my neighborhood place.

We shared the always delicious charred romaine, another salad, the meatballs, haddock, and lamb chops. The lamb lollipops were rather tough The service and the drinks were great as usual!

Absolutely love going here. Hands down some of the best food there is to offer. The food is made with lots of thought and love, highly recommend!

“Bad version of trying to be original “, everything is appetizer portion should probably put that info on the menu and u owe my wife 3 more scallops, stay away until they make changes

Great atmosphere. Great for a date. Stick to drinks and charcuterie but skip the prepared food. It's too much of a mixed bag. For instance, the scallops were excellent (only served three for two people?) but the Peruvian meatballs were bland and unseasoned. Drinks were excellent though.

A little inconsistent. The grilled romaine and bbq tofu were surprising and delicious. The mains (two pastas; one eggplant) were tasty, but not quite up to their ambitions (too much salt on one, not much flavor in another, etc). This will be an amazing restaurant. It's not quite amazing yet.

Our server, Nathan, was a very helpful guide. The cocktails and menu is always reliably good!

Be advised that if you order scallops, there are three small scallops for $24. The service started out well, but then no one came back for a long time, we had to get up to flag them down.

Very tasty meal and very attentive service at Local. The portions are on the small side and the value proposition has slipped a bit lately, heightened by a $24 scallop appetizer with only 3 scallops ($8/scallop is a bit too pricey in my opinion).
