More Pequeno than Mucho..These days it’s hard to find filling meals for $15 range but saw this new spot with Mucho in the name so thought it would be a good bang for your buck. Counter lady was nice, both her aswell as the people behind me in line recommended to get the lomo saltado with plantains however that came up to $23 so passed- was trying to stay in $15 range so went for chicken skewer with potatoes w/corn. chicken is flavorful as well as the seasoned potatoes however was severely disappointed with the quantity. Not very mucho, weighs 1 lb with the box, just isn’t enough food for $16 plus a dollar tip so for $17 & still hungry after eating it. barely any potatoes/corn not enough to compliment the amount of chicken which isnt much either. Sad they can’t include at least one or two plantains pieces with this- they charge $6 for a side of plantains!! Trader Joe’s has a bag of frozen plantains for only $2.50 - better off buying those beforehand to add them to the take out order. felt like this meal really needed some kind of sauce or something sweet like a plantain. Overall, it’s a delicious piece of chicken and a tasty side, but please consider increasing the quantity of food- supposed to b Mucho! doesn’t yield any leftovers especially while there are food trucks right around here that charge $9-11 for plates that weigh 1.8-2lbs that provide leftovers…already looking in the fridge to figure out what else I wanna eat.. maybe will give this place Another try but it’s just super expensive so best suited for the lucky people who are making more $$$

A fresh option with delicious food and kind attention, small variety but enough to find what you can enjoy as Peruvian food, generous portions and reasonable price

I've been searching everywhere for Peruvian food and was so glad to find Mucho Perú opened nearby. If youre in the area, this place is a MUST TRY. We ordered the Fettucine with Lomo Saltado & the regular Lomo Saltado which were both AMAZING. So worth it and delicious. I'll definitely be back 🙌🙌

I got the skewer chicken with potatoes and choclo corn and it was pretty good. I was underwhelmed by the rice side I got; it Just needed more flavor. Overall good place to catch lunch before boarding Amtrak

Mucho Perú is a gem. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much care and pride goes into everything they do. The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about their food, which makes the whole experience even better. The flavors are bold, authentic, and comforting all at the same time. The pork belly was perfectly cooked, rich, and packed with flavor, and the burger was easily one of the best I’ve had. Juicy, well seasoned, and made with real intention. You can feel the love behind every dish, and that makes it so easy to enjoy every bite. This is the kind of place you keep coming back to and recommend to everyone.

I love Peruvian chicken and this restaurant makes some of the best I’ve ever had. Generous portions and freshly prepared. I had the kebab with potatoes and corn. I ordered a side of fried plantains. They have a dessert in a soda can which is heaven. Like tiramisu and dulce de leche combined. All excellent. Highly recommend

Possibly the tastiest looking dishes in university city. Got the chicken skewer and it was a healthy, seasoned portion plated with potatoes and other garnishes. Their chicken pollo asado is also very good, they got a lunch special for a couple dollars off when I went.

The staff was super lovely, which is why I added a star.
I ordered the lomo saltado and it was the saltiest one I have ever had. I could only taste soy sauce and couldn't finish it. 25 is usually worth it for a lomo saltado, but not this time. Disappointing, Peruvian is one of my favorite cuisines.

There's a Mucho Peru in the new food court - Gather - across from 30th Street Station at Schuylkill Yards. It's terrific! Loved the whitefish ceviche and the pork belly sandwich. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Mucho Peru in Philadelphia is an absolute gem! The food has authentic Peruvian flavors, every dish tastes like home and is full of rich, delicious seasoning. The location is perfect and easy to get to, and the service is five stars. The owners, Aldo and Brizna, make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in; they treat every guest like family. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving real Peruvian cuisine! 🇵🇪
