Tried out Nudy’s in Ardmore for the first time. It is close to Lancaster Avenue and the area is pretty congested and hard to park at. There was a short line to get a table so it certainly is popular. The menu is enormous with something for everyone. I ordered the California Wrap at $15.99. It was 8” which seemed kind of small for the price. It was also supposed to include Avocado, which could have contributed to the price. Unfortunately there was no trace of any Avocado anywhere in the wrap. Disappointing

My daughter and I used to eat at Maman. My daughter is 8. However, Maman drove us out of their restaurant with low quality service and a harassment in us being there for just one hour during our meal. Then we found Nudy's cafe. What's different.... food is better, service is better, cost is lower, and overall atmosphere is way better. Each one of the waiters and waitresses can only be described as outstanding. Nobody pushed us to leave after finishing our meal. My wife has a medical obligation and this is a welcoming place for me and my little girl to hang out while we wait for that to be over. Maman would have threatened us to leave with their Supreme leader ideology. Nudy's makes us feel at home. So if you want higher priced lower quality food with poor service, go to maman. If you want, quality service, polite and outstanding employees, top notch food, and a relaxed environment....go to Nudy's.

Nudy's has really good food EXCEPT for their home fries: Always undercooked, flavorless, bland. I ask for them to be fried crispy and mixed with onions, but they always suck, every time.

The food was awesome, but the service ruined it. The hostess and server were unprofessional and rude. We had to wait 30 minutes for a water and the other drinks came. It took 15 minutes for our server to get to us and when she did there was no introduction. Being someone that works in the service industry I understand having bad days but this was severely unprofessional and disappointing. When we got our food we could not even start eating because we had not received any silverware. I would recommend taking out from this place but save your sanity and don’t eat in if you don't want to be disappointed.
I was genuinely quite disappointed in my experience at Nudys of Ardmore, nothing like my prior experience at Nudys of Conshohocken. I ordered pancakes, eggs, and corn beef hash. The pancakes were beyond flat. and had zero fluff to them. They were extremely dense and honestly tasted a bit hard, don’t know if they were using old batter. Eggs came out, also extremely flat and overcooked from how I asked them. Asked for them scrambled soft (a bit runny). They arrived dry and a bit brown. Corn beef hash was decent, but did not save this meal.

Terrible overall experience. This was my first time here and more likely than not my last. From the time I entered the restaurant until my exit was unbelievable. Helen was the young women in the front checking people in. My group of 2 entered and never were acknowledged. As we waited in front of the counter to give our name another group party of 4 got in front of us and checked in then moved to a waiting area, I informed Helen that we were there first waiting to check in before the party whose name she took. She completely ignore the fact that I said we where there first and asked for my name. Before giving my name I reiterated that we were there before the group she checked in, again she ignored me and asked for my name. I gave her my name and she told us it would be a 5 mins wait. Once I noticed the group who she ignored us for getting seated I walked up to the counter and asked her name she told me her name was Helen and then said “oh where you here before them” I never mentioned that this time around which let me know she heard me the first two times but now that I’ve asked for her name she knew a complaint was to follow. Helen need customer service training IMMEDIATELY. As she acted as if it was a mere mistake our name was called to be seated. Laura was our waitress and she was extremely nice and pleasant I wish I could give her alone a 5 star rating. Thank you Laura you were great! My other party was completely uncomfortable because the booth on the other side of them had what appeared to be a 10 year old boy who kept throwing his self into the chair and the adult he was with never said anything. So that was extremely annoying. The food was good and Laura was great.
