Tried out Nudy’s in Ardmore for the first time. It is close to Lancaster Avenue and the area is pretty congested and hard to park at. There was a short line to get a table so it certainly is popular. The menu is enormous with something for everyone. I ordered the California Wrap at $15.99. It was 8” which seemed kind of small for the price. It was also supposed to include Avocado, which could have contributed to the price. Unfortunately there was no trace of any Avocado...
My daughter and I used to eat at Maman. My daughter is 8. However, Maman drove us out of their restaurant with low quality service and a harassment in us being there for just one hour during our meal. Then we found Nudy's cafe. What's different.... food is better, service is better, cost is lower, and overall atmosphere is way better. Each one of the waiters and waitresses can only be described as outstanding. Nobody pushed us to leave after finishing our meal....
Nudy's has really good food EXCEPT for their home fries: Always undercooked, flavorless, bland. I ask for them to be fried crispy and mixed with onions, but they always suck, every time.
