Pak Yue Chinese Restaurant

We've been ordering from Pak Yue for quite a while now and are usually pretty pleased with the food, plus the delivery service and cost can't be beat. However, this last time I ordered a house specialty, Eight Jewels, and was extremely disappointed. It had almost no flavor - I had to have soy sauce or other sauces to it to give it any flavor at all. The pork chunks had so much fat and gristle that I was constantly spitting them out, almost to the point of being nauseous. I expect better in general, but especially from the house specialty which generally costs more.

I hope the owners read Google reviews and improve the quality of their food.

I absolutely loveeeee their food ! But they’re so rude when you’re ordering . I literally order from them almost everyday and they’re still mean, rude, and rush you while you’re ordering on the phone. They huff, puff and make you feel like they’re annoyed with you. I Definitely would’ve gave them 5 stars if it wasn’t for that !

Great food. I am normally hesitant getting take out Chinese as I lived in center city for a while and was exposed to a lot of bad Chinese take out, but this place is an exception. Always great food, very convenient and great prices.

I just ordered from here a second time and it did not disappoint. The prices are reasonable, the portions are large, and the flavor is on point. THIS is what I remember Chinese food tasting like before prices went up and quality went down. Delivery is also incredibly fast.

Ordered delivery at 6pm on a Monday. Took 2.5 hours. They kept asking if I wanted to cancel. I just wanted the food. Terrible.

So I’ve been ordering from this place for a few years and the past couple of months I’ve ordered they have forgotten items I’ve ordered and claimed I never ordered it. Today I ordered boneless BBQ ribs with SHRIMP FRIED RICE and EXTRA BBQ SAUCE ON THE SIDE. So first of all they gave me pork fried rice which I do not like I always order shrimp fried rice. I specifically told them to Imake sure the meat was fresh and to give me extra sauce on the side and the meat was hard overcooked and tasted salty and dry. It’s supposed to be HONEY BBQ but instead tasted like a very liquid and salty no sauce at all. I called them and the lady argued with me telling me she added extra sauce with the meat which wasn’t true. I don’t like too much sauce in my rice which is why I asked for some on the side. They also sent me 4 diet cokes when I don’t even drink soda let alone Diet Coke. So they basically sent me whatever order they felt like it. The food was awful and didn’t eat much of it as this is what was left over. The past few times I’ve ordered same thing again they missed some things and claimed I didn’t order this or that when I clearly write my orders down before I order and know exactly what I order. They never try to make things right just argue that that’s what was ordered. I will never again give these people my money. I read through the bad reviews on here and am appalled at what people said about them because I’ve been eating his food for a while. Nails in someone’s food?!!! Disgusting! Never again!!! Do not order from them. I did order other foods but that was irrelevant because the issue was with my platter.
