Food is always great! However very inconsistent with times that they close early or they are not doing takeout orders. Even if they are open for another 2 hours. Not a good way to run a business in my opinion

We didn’t sit down because the hostess was so rude after we asked if they had indoor seating available. Immediately left due to her poor attitude. We would have been perfectly fine sitting outside but the attitude of the hostess caused us to leave.

This place is truly a gem. Tucked away on a main road in Havertown. The service is great! The server's take hospitality serious. The atmosphere is a mix of picnic and fine dining. They have an outside dining area and an inside dining area; plus a bar. Kid friendly and very clean bathrooms. The food is delicious. Asparagus, Brussel sprouts, Sweet potatoes in different ways and very tasty. BBQ brisket, burnt ends, and chicken. Sauce varieties were very delicious. There were fried cinnamon sweet potatoe dumplings with cinnamon butter and syrup; very delicious. This place was simply; Great!

The only thing I’d say is, if you get easily overstimulated in restaurants I would recommend trying to reserve a table outside. It gets noisy fast!
Overall, everything my boyfriend and I had was yummyyyy! Sophie’s will be seeing me again :)

This bbq is insane. Five stars across the board. Juicy and fall apart meat. Coffee brisket should be award winning as well as the orange honey vanilla cornbread. Pro tip get the crispy shoestring fries with burnt ends and cooper cheese. You’ll gain 10 pounds but it’ll be worth it!!

Finally got to try out Sophie's bbq this wknd. Ribs were very meaty and tender but lacked that good ol smokey bbq taste. When I eat ribs I want them to taste like they've been cooked over hot coals and wood. I didn't get that from these. The crispy wings were cooked to my liking while some thought they were dry and the butterscotch cornbread was good. I'd come again and shoot for a dine in experience next time and try some of the sides.

This is where I go for delicious comfort food 😋 ❤️ Not only will you get bbq that is smoked with care and attention, but you also get the loving and upbeat service from Sophie's amazing staff and chefs. I always order the Smokehouse Trinity which includes smoked pulled pork, a half pound of coffee rubbed brisket, and a half smoked dry rub chicken. Do yourself a favor and order the homemade Carolina bbq sauce on the side! The meat is smoked, juicy and tender.
The hush puppies are light, crispy, full of flavor and are an amazing alternative to the cornbread. If you're local, do yourself a favor and take the drive over, order a drink from Devon at the bar (she's amazing and has a ton of helpful recommendations) and sip a delicious locally crafted cocktail while you wait for your to-go order. This place aims to please and takes their bbq seriously. Delish!

The pork belly burnt ends were so tender and the sauce used for them was delicious. Whatever herbs and spices were used leveled up the mac and cheese. The fries and cornbread were also delicious. I ordered the cosmo with my meal. It was a perfect cocktail, not too sweet but also didn’t taste like straight alcohol. I liked how a lot of the alcohol was locally made. The workers were friendly as well. Will definitely come back whenever I want bbq.
